- I come back to elite from a 2 month hiatus and the first proper fight I get into is THIS mess. Go figure.
Songs used (in order):
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty OST - Firestarter (Kurt Hansen Boss Theme)
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty OST - Contra la Luna
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty OST - Firestarter (reprise) Игры
I m honoured to have participated in a duel with The Man himself. I m sure 17 reboots were just a slight inconvenience.
That was a a great fight ^_^
My favorite part was when he said "It's Throngling Time™" and then throngled all over that guy.
"hopefully this is the only time I need to reboot" reboot counter pops up. oh boy.
This gave me a good dose of ptsd, ive fought seal's chally a few too many times lol
Crimson: *does literally anything*
The Throngler: "Nah man, I'm gonna need a nap."
You did more damage to yourself than he did to you
This was pure adrenaline. Thank you and GG!
Good fight there. Just wondering why you didnt recharge your shield during first half of fight and why couldn't you end his PP, no superpen rails?
@@MrSmartman23 oh it wasn't me in video, I'm thanking for video!
@@MrSmartman23 Thank you, in the first half i was running silent in hope that it will be harder for Crimson to aim... As you can see it didn't work lol. As for rails Crimson's Krait has some insane resistances, I managed to get the PP only to 40%
@@The_Great_seal yeah looks like silent doesn't work much if you attacking consistently . And do armor resistances are applying to modules as well? I thought its only MRP which surely would all be destroyed considering how much module dmg you have done?
@@MrSmartman23 I'm not sure, probably Crimson has a lot of MRPs so i didn't destroy them all
"Why won't you die?"
"REBOOT/REPAIR, SON!"
specially for this you can have the high frequency beam sword.
drinking game: take a shot every time Crimson has to reboot/repair his ship
this guy reboots.
Awesome stuff, always nice to see non meta builds.
I had no doubts the throngler would come out on top, but DAYUM
HELL YEAH.
LAST STAND BABY
You’ll be hearing “thrusters offline” in your sleep lol.
People don't reallize how deadly flechettes can be in the right hands
I know at least three pvp'ers that don't use them because they seems to not be that great of a challange
That repair bill. Oof. That…that is certainly very chunky.
…I think I need to pick this game back up again. And maybe fly Open in the first time in forever.
I'll be waiting to greet you with deployed hardpoints!
@@CrimsonGamer99 Just FYI, I usually fly around the Bubble (from what I remember, my home station is Ohm City in LHS 20) and I tend to avoid PVP (because I suck balls and just wanna vibe, like doing PVE bounty hunting or Guardian blueprints). So if you do wind up finding out there in the Black, just keep that in mind.
Also, CMDR MAVERICKbirdy is my name if you’re looking for me. Transferred from PS4/PS5 to PC.
…I’m probably gonna wind up in your next E:D video whenever I log in to my account, aren’t I?
The fact someone can reboot their ship 16 times in a fight just shows how retardedly broken engineering is.
Woohoo! New video!
I like your dashboard decor 😂
incredible... i would have imagined that even just ONCE, using reboot, would get you immediately killed! 👍'd
Tenacious as F**K
That repair cost 😂
It's chump change for me now, but funny that repairing from this one fight was more than the cost of a brand new Viper IV.
I fly a combat cutter that's pretty full of Hull reinforcements & that puts the throngler's repair to shame. Seen clear over a mill a few too many times
the throngler is gonna have 2 AFMUs from now on
My internals are one (1) FSD interdictor and the rest is carefully tuned hull reinforcements to complement the funny hull.
Are module reinforcements useful or a waste of space?
@@CrimsonGamer99 Above question for you btw.
@@Squidgy55 depends. Internals adopt hull resistance, and funny hull is strong against superpen, but not immune. Don't go overboard (as this cuts hull strength), but one or two MRPs is advisable for most normal hulltank builds.
@@CrimsonGamer99 Okay, thanks mate. 👍

Really anoying fight...
I wanted to die so bad but my ship would not let me.
damn, didn't CP2077 is good with this game
If this game was Open Only there would be no complaining, screenshot-taking pussies and this type of epicness would be happening all over the place...The opportunities 😢
If only
And you would also be ganked 10 Times when you just want to go to Jameson memorial to build a new ship
@@vinart10 Everybody and their mother knows Dezhra is one of the most ganker-infested systems.
Why would you have to go to Jameson in the first place? Just do an Inara search for the modules you need and visit 1-2 other systems and stations in a safe environment.
And even so, there are plenty of options, get an Apex in and out of Shinrarta and transfer your build, use silent running and heat sinks, drop early from interdiction, turn flight assist off and fly irrationally, etc.
There are so many simple ways to avoid gankers that require you just to pay attention and press a couple of buttons in succession.
Dividing the playerbase is one of FDev's numerous idiotic mistakes. So many players would have been inspired to keep coming back to the game if they saw the Bubble more populated. And those players who prefer solitude have an entire galaxy where they can be alone.
