My First Time Competive Drag Racing. I Took Home The W. Horner Performance DYO Challenge. SS Wins!

So for someone who said no more racing until after April, I decided to hit the strip once again! This time I decided to enter the DYO Challenge sponsored by Horner Performance. Ran a PB of 12.246 on the brakes across the line! It was a difficult decision on what my dial in would be as all my qualifying hits was in the heat of the day so I winged it. All my runs in the DYO challenge were not full passes as I didn't want to break out. First 2 passes in the chalenge I backed off and the last 2 I was on the brakes hard across the line as I knew the car had picked up a few 10ths as the air got better. Some how I managed to win the event and took home the cash prize on my very first time ever competing in a Drag Racing event. Big thanks to Horner Performance for sponsoring the challenge and putting up the prize money and old mate Jamie for being on camera duties once again.
