G3 really would have benefitted from some TV show, it’s such a shame it only got specials. They were good specials, but I want to see more of the characters! this was back when they were actually made for little girls. They were really soft and pretty looking, appealing for their demographic. You see the toys that are being produced today and they don’t even have brushable hair. Their cute and all, but they seem like figurines, not toys- and not made for young children as the intended demographic. I remember my sister and i learned how to braid hair with our ponies- its a little thing like that, but it really made the toys more interactive and lovable. My niece who’s only 7 likes the old toys and shows too. i think they’re just more appealing.
g1 too. i love fantasy magical horses a lot and i think g1-g3 r perfect for that. i love g4 but i dont they r pony like. g5 3d designs look a little pony but the humans r still human unfortunately

Minty talking about socks is literally me talking about my own sock collection, my obsession with animals since I was a baby, my stuffed animal collection, my husband, my favourite colours, favourite ponies, and my favourite video games. I swear as a kid you'd say literally anything and I'd ONLY respond with random animal facts. I'm glad I started getting shy in high school, leaving me to observe how other people conversate and learn that way instead of embarrassing myself.

Well, my heart just melted. Minty is super precious. I don't know too much about this show in particular (Heck, this is all I know about it), but there's something about everyone (well, everypony in this case) almost constantly "smiling" that feels uncanny.
Well, some people are currently coming up with disorder diagnoses for G4 ponies, if that makes u feel even better :) For example, some people believe that Twilight Sparkle from G4 has OCPD/OCD.
She is the best, I grew up watching this gen of mlp a lot and she was my favorite. I watched the Christmas movie that had her as the main character every Christmas, and still have the DVD.
I remember watching a very minty Christmas when I was younger, minty was always my fave, and I genuinely cried when Netflix removed a very minty Christmas lol. But I just watched it on yt again today. Minty is literally an icon ❤❤

I'm autistic and I'm not sure how to feel xD on one hand, yes, we miss social cues and jokes often need to be explained etc, but we're not dumb or "bimbo-esque" or anything close. So I'm conflicted, but having representation in my most treasured love since 1984 is pretty darn cool. ^^
I don't think Minty is dumb tbh. She just misses the jokse and over-explains things because she doesn't pick up on figures of speech that well, and she communicates with other people so that she can be understood. Other things like her particularism with the candy cane and it breaking can be explained as lack of coordination and needing things to be completely "right", not uncommon with autism. Exc. Perhaps autistic people can be seen as dumb by people because they do not understand social cues and have a tendency to communicate in ways allistic people do not understand. You have to keep in mind that someone like Minty is probably trying to overcompensate for their difficulties navigating social interactions, which can lead to them seeming unfocused because they have to keep more things in mind at any given time than the average person.

I never watched Gen 3 My Little Pony as a kid (or teenager when I was at the height of my MLP:FiM obsession), but from this video, it actually looks a lot better than I was expecting. Minty is such a cute character too, with her endearing clumsiness, and contagious laugh! I can definitely see why she seems to be the fan-favourite pony among Gen 3 fans! I might have to watch some Gen 3 MLP some time after I finish my re-watch of Gen 4. And as an Autistic girl, I approve of this video!

I loved minty as a kid! Im not autistic, but i feel like i related to her with my ADHD. Her being awkward and forgetful really spoke to me, i think. As someone with autism and ADHD, i love her. G3 was the first version of mlp that I mainly grew up on and was my hyperfixation when I was around 5-7, though now that I'm revisiting some clips of G3 for nostalgia purposes, I realized just now how relatable she is to me.
No hate to MLPFiM (I'm definitely obsessed) but um..... I MISS WHEN THE PONIES LOOKED LIKE PONIES!!! Look how their manes flow more naturally here and they're proportioned nicely. Minty is such a spirit animal, I swear.

I never watched Gen 3 My Little Pony as a kid (or teenager when I was at the height of my MLP:FiM obsession), but from this video, it actually looks a lot better than I was expecting. Minty is such a cute character too, with her endearing clumsiness, and contagious laugh! I can definitely see why she seems to be the fan-favourite pony among Gen 3 fans! I might have to watch some Gen 3 MLP some time after I finish my re-watch of Gen 4.
And as an Autistic girl, I approve of this video!

Minty was, and still is, my comfort character. I just love her and everything about her, and I can even see myself doing those kinda things that she does in the show sometimes. I relate to her, but I don't think I have autism. Anyways, great character, great video, great everything.

I loved minty as a kid! Im not autistic, but i feel like i related to her with my ADHD. Her being awkward and forgetful really spoke to me, i think. I had the christmas special on dvd and watched it all the time, i also had a singing doll. It was very strange to my parents, because i hated the color pink, and i couldnt stand mint flavor.
I love the title, love the fact that this is a MINTY compalation, literally, how have I not seen this sooner?!?!?

As someone with autism and ADHD, i love her. G3 was the first version of mlp that I mainly grew up on and was my hyperfixation when I was around 5-7, though now that I'm revisiting some clips of G3 for nostalgia purposes, I realized just now how relatable she is to me.
