9/11 ground zero visit with David Bloom 6 months after

An NBC segment I shot for NBC 6 months after 9/11. The great late David Bloom who was co anchor of Weekend Today show did this story. This was a rare early visit inside ground zero. Tragically, David would die in Iraq about one year later. He was a great news man, and still missed.

David Bloom was one terrific human being and a great role model. I particularly remember with great fondness his "Weekend Today" co-host gig with Soledad O'Brien, another person who I greatly admire. I wish there were more people in this world like these two who continue to inspire me to be a better human being.
