The most haunting thing in any of the ground zero footage is the hundreds of "man down" alarms going off. That loud, quick, higher pitched alarm sound -- which can be heard several times here if you know what you're listening for -- is from the devices the firefighters had on their helmets that ultimately all started going off as soon as the buildings came down on top of them. I didn't even know that those sounds were anything more than just some sort of security alarm until a few years ago when I watched an interview where a firefighter that worked ground zero was talking about how those things going off for days and days really messed his mind up. I can't even imagine.
How horrible, I always heard these beeps in these 9/11 videos, but I didn't know that fact. Thanks for sharing, God bless you
@@vitormachado4877they’re called PASS alarms.
It's the pass system
I was a firefighter for 9 years (Mississippi) and I've always hated that sound when it goes off
If it makes you feel better, a lot of those alarms were sounding on firefighters who were alive and walking around, either intentionally left sounding so other firefighters could find each other in the dust, or because they were too dazed and in shock to turn them off.
There's footage by CBS cameraman Mark LaGanga where he walks up to a group of firefighters regrouping after WTC1's collapse, and one of their alarms are blaring. The firefighter eventually turns it off as he gets up and walks away.
EDIT: I found it on RUclips: v=ivLlI72Rz3k "Mark LaGanga's 9/11 footage 4/4 (CBS-NetDub3 clips 31 - 37)"... I can't post the full link because of RUclips's spam filter. Skip to about 4 minutes, 15 seconds in the video.
"9/11 defy's the laws of physics"
Just because you can't comprehend physics doesn't mean that any of its laws were broken, kid.
@@RedScotland its called a entire fucking building coming down crushing itself?
Thank you for sharing this. It is so important to never forget what happened that day. God bless all who lost their lives and to the many that spent months/years cleaning up and searching for the fallen.
The day the world changed forever
Tons upon tons of falling steel, concrete, and shrapnel have a tendency to destroy most things, including human bodies.
It's interesting to see s side on view of the Tower, you can clearly see it has started to lean over towards the corner the fire is strongest which is the point the Building gave out.
I sometimes wonder if any of the firefighters just said to themselves *'F this... I'm going home to my family... I quit!!'*
Who would blame them?
I couldn’t imagine how spooky it was too film everything that he seen, I couldn’t imagine the things he saw that we couldn’t.
God bless all them souls.
Look at the damage at 00:23. Look at the horizontal dark lines, which indicates perimeter floor damage. That's at least 10 floors of visible damage, meaning the floor connectors on those floors were damaged, or weakened. That's just what we can see. It's not out of the realm of possibility that several floors above and below took shock from the airplane impact, weakening both core and perimeter floor-truss connectors.

There you can See that the collums above the Impact invert inside.
Like in the Simulations.
From Analysis from experts.
The floors Sack down and pulled the outside collums/walls inside.
Look at the difference in WTC1 from 0:14 to 0:17 which is roughly a half hour later. The fires in that tower went uncontrollably crazy.
The time frame must’ve been longer bc :14 looks to be shortly after the south tower was struck & :17 was after the collapse of the south tower. Regardless the visible damage in that span of an hour is undeniable. It’s devastating!
it spread like wildfire by 9:30 it was going to lower floors i believe jet fuel started fires everywhere
I can hardly begin to imagine what this is like or how anyone can clean up this mess. Tons of broken metal with thick wadded dust, mixed with rotting flesh and sewer water, and some areas still smouldering with fire and stinky smoke of office furniture and plastic. That could only begin to describe the horror...
Most were provided inadequate PPE and were poisoned.
It smelled to me like aspirin
Thank your for your candid view. The destruction reminds me of footage I've seen in WWII movies and documentaries.
Yes, mountains of jumbled steel.
But it wasn't just falling. It was churning like surf breaking. We know because of the floor joists. They were turned into spaghetti, not flattened. All the interior contents of the tops literally poured into the standing sections, Which got it started. If not for that, we likely would have ended up with most of the lower sections still standing. It was an internal grinding machine.

False premise.
The steel at the impact levels were not as thick as a tank's armor. Steel thickness was tapered up as load requirements lessened. Impact areas were 3/8 to 1/4 inch for the perimeter walls. Core columns varied, and specs are not known exactly, but they were an inch or less at those heights. The mass and velocity of the airliners penetrated the perimeter walls easily, breaking it at it's connections, as we all saw. No mystery there.
There were not 8 walls of steel.
Yeah there was some dirty things going on that's why that building fell and it wasn't from the outside

Urine idiot.
Investigations had ascertained that the fire hydrant water in the buildings, together with the heat of the fire caused the hottest of steam !! Steam was the critical reason the building collapsed as quickly as they did...the towers were designed to withstand that degree of heat for a longer period than they did, but the velocity of both fire & water proved its destructive force 😢
The amount of paper on the ground, holy s***.
All that paper most would be confidential and locked away in secure cabinets. Why hasnt it burnt and where's the security cabinets made of steel where are they. Must have been hundreds of security cabinets where are they
The collapse started in the area of the plane impact. That steel was gravely damaged from the impact, and the heat and weight it was carrying became too much. Did anyone notice the dozen or so burned vehicles in the parking lot NW of the WTC?? I was at the OP at West and Vesey until T-7 fell and we went back to work digging.
God bless you... I can't imagine what you went through...

Internally, the buildings were on fire from point of impact, down. The planes that hit had full fuel tanks. Once they hit, the fuel drained downward, some of it already on fire.
People report elevator doors opening on the mezzanines, with burnt, dead passengers as lit fuel drained into elevator shafts.
People in the stairwells describe slip-sliding in what they thought was water, until the smell of the fuel became more concentrated as they descended. These folks also describe touching doors as they went, trying to find cooler doors that would indicated floors with minimal fires. The doors just kept getting hotter as they descended.
Bodies and a lot of smaller office equipment was just vaporized in the heat, which was upwards of 2,000 degrees. Before the buildings fell, rivers of molten steel can be seen draininh from the floors below impact.
Imagine someone running down the stairs at the start of this video at let's say the 30th floor and they just keep rounding and running through the crowd as fast as they can with so much hope.. but then this happens :/

Unique and captivating footage from "Ground Zero" immediately following the dreadful attack. Whilst some uploads show snippits from the scene, this is the most lengthy and detailed film from inside the debris area. Whilst it was a traumatic time, this film is, none the less, a historical record of the immediate aftermath and totally amazing to watch. To the cameraman, I am in awe of the footage you shot within a very dangerous and volatile enviroment thus capturing this historical scene.
At 21:00, were they in one of the towers after it collapsed?
I would be scared as hell to go into a building after it collapsed just 15-30 mins ago.
I'm pretty sure this is the world financial center complex across west street.

How many people are sick and dieing after breathing in all that toxic crap?? Id love to know
It’s doubled the fatalities of first responders since that day.
People are still dying from the massive clouds of asbestos and toxic dust that they breathed in.
A zoom lens? Are you kidding me? Notoriously unsteady to shoot with. Wind would do that.
20:20 there's nothing left of the Marriot hotel only the lower part is still standing.
Such a sad day.
Whats on fire? Does anyone know of an unedited version of this film that shows the progression of the smoldering spread from what we see at 00:14 to 00:17. Does anyone have a suggestion why the smoldering stops at that mysterious (to me) red line that Qingskinator so brilliantly pointed out may be fire?
if i were to clean all of that up i wuld hve no idea wear to start this is so depressing
othe videos show a constant rain of debris from the outside of the twoers so it is logical to think there would be an identical shower inside that would be slowly overloading each of the lightweight floor causing the slabs to buckle, gaps to open for fire to drop into lower floors.
Rose White's 9-11 Explained explains perfectly.
Nope
LOL!! I am a photographer. Its next to impossible to shoot with a zoom lens. It was very likely someone walking around next to the camera.
It didn't "get ejected". It fell over. Perimeter walls fell over from the force of splaying in very large sections, some of which broke apart as they fell or when they hit something. If a 500 foot tall piece of wall fell over and pivoted at it's base where it broke, the top parts of it landed 500 feet away. It's a law of physics. Any explosion big enough to blast that ten ton hunk of steel that far would have been heard for miles around.
FYI, I am not a "de-bunker". I only want truth.

Cont.. And also that red/orange line is NOT at the edge of the impact hole. It is clearly many stories below it.
anyone notice that the camera shakes just before the tower then collapses, weird
Odd they didn't let camera men there to document activity, and this is the first non edited, non news footage i have seen of ground zero, those of us that weren't there didn't see much of ground zero. Thanks for the video, it gives a better understanding
But I wonder a bit, where did the large antenna of wtc 1 go?
would you believe it survived, it's in hanger 17, look it up
Look at 0:56 the ground is shaking (the building hasn't fallen) and a person or piece of the building on the right side falls down, 12 seconds later the building actually falls...
I noticed that, also.
How can you tell its the ground shaking and not the camera? Honest question.
I found very little footage of the hotel on fire! Please explain to me why only press footage can be found on the hotel?
And when the dust settles, we got a glimpse of hell.

21:41you can see what horror that guy is felling looking at what once was the truck he was in
yes here we get to read the blathering.
Everyone was out. It was a role call to see who was missing.
16 years on and I still can't comprehend why anyone would say it was an 'inside job'. Now I'm not saying it was or wasn't, personally I don't think it was and think it's less scary to believe it was a terrorist act than to think or believe that your own government could do this to its own people. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I'm still shocked and unable to put into words the bravery of everyone in and around New York that day.
Because of the evidence
How do you know it is not the tripod/camera shaking?
Ps the firemen wandering around must be asking where's the building gone
You said, "This unmanned camera is on a RIGID mounting, perhaps coupled to a wall or other SOLID surface."
-Cite your source.
Or are you Truth-ing through clever use of adjectives: 'MASSIVE steel columns, THIN-WALLED aluminum aircraft,' etc?
Or are you just making stuff up? I do love how you threw the 'perhaps' in there.
wait, what building was this footage shot from towards the end? surely somebody wasn't stupid enough to go in Building 5 or 6 just to get footage of this mess?
it's close.. it's placed where the building stops being damaged if you know what i mean.
What is that red line at 00:58 dividing the damaged building from the burning building?
Its 2024 , like my wife noticed the same thing. Then she said " they were once correlated, separated stacked on someone's desk " .
That « red line » is called « fire ».
Imagine if all those sheets of paper had been gathered up and turned into books….
Imagine all the evidence of fraud that might've been discovered
There's a story somewhere about someone who escaped one of the towers who picked up a random piece of paper on the street and had folded it up and put it in his pocket. Later, they found that it was a memo signed that morning by someone working in the towers that unfortunately years later had still not had any identifiable remains found. So the survivor ended up sending the signed memo to the family members who were grateful to have something from their loved one. Something he had touched and signed on the morning of the 11th. It's weird to think for the over 1000 still unidentified people, had a single sheet of paper they had touched, signed, stamped, or a single thing from their pocket been found and saved by someone, it could've meant the world to those families. But nobody knew at that time it would be a big deal I bet and I think I heard it rained the next day so most papers in the street would've washed away by then.
Something is happening at that line either from preventing the fire from spreading downward further or in my opinion the source of the fire spreading upward (which would better reflect the nature of fire as I understand it).
And what ever is happening along the straight line 3/4 stories below and so far to the right of where to plane struck the building when this video jumps from 0:14 to 00:17 is also occurring catercorner on the same floor watch?v=Hmb6_YzHEJA just before the collapse occurs
camera vibrates ten secs before tower falls
to paraphrase the great Dr. Peter Venkman, (sarcastically) "you're right...no human could EVER cause that!"
0:16 what is cut???
The footage at 14:25...where was the footage taken ? This is so heartbreaking to watch
The strength of the core columns would be irrelevant with collapse occurring AROUND them. Substantial portions of both cores standing after everything else collapsed confirms.
Joe Hill
😆 🤣 dumbass!
Not
Shut up, joe hill
I don't get it. are you saying it would have to be thermonuclear destruction?
Hope there are new safety rules in place now. If anything happens in a high rise building I hope people learned from this to evacuate immediately.
There is, also building codes have changed for taller buildings... for example stairways and elevator shafts are now required to be in a concrete "core" in the center of a building with its own self supporting structure, independent from the support structure of the building...
Even the concrete was weakened by fires. The towers were basically chimneys after the fires took hold, Concrete does have the tendency to pulverize when subjected to enough outside influences & pressure excerted. Steel would have not necessarily melted but the tensile strength was reduced due to heat & pressure. Terrible, gut wrenching tragedy.
The fact that these buildings got struck by planes and yet there were still alot of people standing around below it just plain crazy I say lol
Ive been looking to buy a high quality foil hat. Could you point me in the right direction?
It's fire.
because it does not happen everyday and some could not make it out of the way on time, they were generally walking away from it anyway
cont from prev post
the planes created fireballs, static electricity from the friction and severed the buildings electrical wiring which all 3 made contact with the steel in the cores, so how did all or any of the 3 not set off any thermite and start the collapses right away? what was found in the dust was iron and aluminum which were plane and building materials which were fused togeather in the impacts, fires and collapses. you really shouldn't question someone who has all the answers.

If they removed everything, how come I have been able to study them? There are hours upon hours of raw video taken day of and later. The ASCE and FEMA teams picked through ALL the debris. They saved samples for further revue. To say they only picked through 200 pieces is false. And why are they "goons"? They were volunteer engineers.
have you ever stopped to consider the logistics of just getting on the pile for rescue operations? They had to clear immediately just to get equipment in.
Why the officers are leaving?
I thought about that..but if you look at the footages....you can tell that the north tower took a little bit longer to fall. Its just simple physics...F=ma. The portion of the North that started to fall weighed less than the section of the south tower that fell.....the rest you can figure out.

Eutectic corrosion and where it was found, was not a sign of CD. it was inconclusive. No structural members were found to have been cut with any CD vehicle. Think rust. It has a much lower boiling point than steel, and will revert to iron at it's boiling point. The corroded pieces were not in critical structural areas. Nothing there. Nothing to arouse suspicion. There was no cause to save every piece of steel. Cause of collapse was evident.
