Exactly! The animators know all of the manga stories and events and have the opportunity to present canon in a more emotional fashion. They have done an excellent job of it so far. But...(no spoilers. And they may, indeed, avoid the but)
@@MikoYotsuya292 It's nothing compared to what he 's been receiving for ten years from his sensei, Genma. He still loves the Old Man. Akane, though, is a young woman and he's been kept away from them as best as his sensei could. And guys who haven't can still not understand them. His reaction would be that knee-jerk trained into him by his pop but colored by the attitude Genma has towards women
Mikado is insanely strong to lift everyone but gotta admit Azusa is also very strong to stand up while carrying Ranma and Akane for their spinning attack.
He did it the same way he got his clothes back: Rumiko Takahashi took unexplained shortcuts because she - and her readers - were not interested in details. For example, she never bothered to explain when water counted as cold or hot or what could be mixed with it
Ryouga was in chains in the last story arc, too Big mistake on Akane's part. She didn't use her martial arts on Mikado while he was trying to kiss her. To Ranma that meant he did have to protect her Azusa had no impulse control! Plus she didn't like the womanizer, Mikado Why are the Golden Pair of Martial Arts Pair Skating the Matchbreaker on Ice? Because they specialize in fighting against pairs, couples I don't remember Akane crying in the original. This anime is giving more attention to the feelings of Ranma and Akane than the 1989 version. Part of the reason, though, was to stretch things out so the episode could end on the Ryouga cliffhanger. Azusa lack of impulse control makes her mostly immune to the magic. The Accursed Training Ground of Juusenkyo should be world famous, attracting thousands upon thousands of tourists each year. But it isn't. People wanting to be cursed is not a curse. So the magic has people around the Cursed accept a panda acting like a human, a would-be lover not seeing the truth about his crush, or a family only seeing a pet pig. It DOES all make sense! Akane sleeps cuddled up with P-chan. She would know if it had a male reaction. To be inside a little piggy's body, Ryouga has to use its little piggy brain. In it, he does not have completely human reactions. (And the same could be said about Ranma's female brain)
I rather any fangirl of Sanzenin stay away from Ranma. My boy has enough crazies (Kuno siblings) after him. Anyone who simp Sanzenin must be delusional too. Anyways love your reactions. As always ❤
I mean, Akane remarks that Ranma must still be in big pain, but to me it looks like he's a bit better than just a few minutes ago, when just slightly touching him made him fall to the ground in pain, despite in the meanhile Ryoga hit him at least three times (wrestling lock, thrown on Mikado's head, punch on the head). Maybe it's just the pain from the back injury naturally starting to fade away after a few minutes.
You guys NEED to watch the Original English dub of this episode, it is SO much more epic. This remake has fabulous animation and (honestly) way more censored than the Original but, the Original has a far better script and voice actors. I challenge you guys, as someone who has watched every episode and movie of this series, to watch the Original english dub of this episode before moving forward... I think you'll be surprised.
I like the idea that there is a Stylist Club just waiting around with clothing and portable dressing rooms, just in case there is a Fashion Emergency!
Skates are sharp and costumes can get ripped during martial arts matches
"AKANE IS MY FIANCE!!!" Yessssss Ranma protect your girl!! ❤🎉
This arc was the first one I've read back in the day! This anime is doing a good job so far.
One thing the left out was the fact that mikado was extra keen to go after Akane because he was one girl away from having kissed 1000.
That was an anime original line from the original adaptation, it's not in the manga.
@@Pikachu132 Yes. The 1989 animators felt a little more free to add extra details. But the 2024 version feels more free to amp up the emotions
Ranma taking the hit to protect Akane was ❤❤.
In this remake, you can see better how the relationship is growing.

fr i dont think ranma gets enough credit. he endured all manners of verbal, mental and physical punishment to be with akane

You can say that Ranma is a jerk with Akane and everything but the man is a jerk with values and manners 😂
The boy would do everything to protect her.
And that would explain why Akane becomes different than she was in the earliest chapters
If you think Mikaido Sanzenin is a corn dog, just wait till Happosai shows up

How did P-chan pour a kettle of hot water onto himself?

Ranma of the dodecahedron doesn't need - or want - any more
I don't remember whether transforming cures Ranma's injuries, at least to some degree, is a recurring thing, or it only seems to happen here...

I would rather face Kodachi and Tatewaki than this mikado disgusting man.

This anime copying yuri on ice
You realize the OG episode for this first aired like 35 years ago.
