Holden Beach, NC 2017 | Surf, Sand, And Fun!

Some highlights from our visit to Holden Beach, NC in August 2017. For various reasons, wasn't able to shoot everything I normally would have there, so here are a few highlights of some of the things we did along the way.

East cast beach fronts look so different than west coast beaches. I really like it! Amanda And I really need to experience the beaches out there. Great video pal! Loved the stop motion

Thanks! We had a pretty fun time at the beach. Been wanting to do the stop motion thing for a while, and this was the perfect time. I actually had a willing participant to help me, too!

It was a great sunrise! Next couple of days it was too cloudy/rainy in the morning. Love those NC beaches. We are usually around some quieter ones, and always have fun. The VR stuff was pretty fun. I shot at a lot of zombies and spaceships when I played. It was a blast.

You really got some stunning pictures/footage of the sky there. Like the background music too. That's the only downside of having a place at the beach not on the beach. We never, ever stay ON the beach anymore. Food looked tasty. There's nothing funnier than watching someone playing a VR game.

Thanks! That first sunrise was the best of the week. Finding the right music for particular clips is always a challenge. Finding the house that has all the requirements isn't easy with the number of people we have and BRs required, mobility issues, being on the beach, etc. This was probably the furthest we've been from the beach while being on the beach, but the house, and pool was really nice. Only a few of us actually make it to the beach itself. The VR was pretty fun. I played a lot of combat-related games, and I'm sure I looked nuts doing it.

That stop motion scene came out awesome! Great video. Such a pretty beach. Glad you survived the Sharknado ;)

Thanks! It definitely took some time to do, but it turned out pretty cool. Those sharknados are scary!
