- Frank Capra's 1934 film, 'It Happened One Night', was the first of only three movies to win the top 5 awards at the Oscars. At the 1935 Academy Awards it took home 'Best Film', 'Best Screenplay', 'Best Director', 'Best Actor' and 'Best Actress'. This feat was later achieved by 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest' and 'The Silence of the Lambs'. But does Capra's classic live up to that kind of hype? Let's find out!
