Thank you for taking us along on the pressure washer repair. Pretty typical un-clear printed instructions. Do you still have that boat you repaired the prop shaft on? and did your repair hold up?
Sold that boat long ago, have the little 20ft fiberglass one now I did the Pertronix video on. Did not hear anything back from the buyer after the sale. The little 20ft is large enough to go where I want and is small enough to tow comfortably and easy to pull out of the water so no moorage fees nor barnacles to scrape.
Is it possible to put a proper bypass on that pump ? i have the same pressure washer .. Mine GX 390 with this pump is so loud .... shug shug shug shug teh motor sounds when it is going ..
Put your finger on the govenor lever for a few seconds to momentarily stop the hunting. Likely your govenor is not set right. This will determine if the problem is the engine govenor or the pump unloader causing the hunting.
