- In this video we will compare the stock halogen high beam bulbs with the Auxito LED bulbs on the Chevy Colorado. You will see that the difference is impressive given the price point on these bulbs. Coming in at under $70, I’ll be buying these for my daughters 2011 Ford Explorer as well. Upgrading the Headlights with LED bulbs is still one of the best MODS that we have done to the Colorado. @@DustinFaddis Update - Fast shipment and I just installed the signals and side marker lights. Really like the clean signal look without the fade. Will probably hit up the beams and back up lights later this week once I get some good before pictures.

@@DustinFaddis no hyper flash on the signals. I have not changed the rear yet but the kit came with resistors just incase so will let you know.

These are a 9005 bulb. So If your other vehicles take that bulb then they will work. As long as they fit anyway.

Have you tried diode dynamics
I actually just ordered the diode dynamics ditch lights. I’ll be installing them soon. I have the sv4 low beams installed and they’re great. They’re up there with the diode dynamics… maybe just slightly better. However, these are such a good value. With the discount code that auxito gave me they currently run around 59 bucks. You really can’t beat them for the price. I do like diode dynamics as a company though. Thanks for watching.
Any concerns about heat building up inside the OEM headlight housing?
Scot, we have had the headlight revolution bulbs installed for about a year and have had no issues with overheating in the housing. I can tell you that the stock halogen bulbs put out way more heat. They get very hot to touch in just a short time. I have left the auxito bulbs on for over 10 minutes then grabbed them right away to remove and reinstall in my daughters SUV to try them there. They weren’t hot just warm. I haven’t had these long to really test the long term but looking at the build quality and how cool they stay… I don’t believe it will be an issue. Thanks for watching.

@ADAM EHRLICH when you click the link it will take you to the main area. You enter the year make and model. The $265 price is if you want to order the entire set of bulbs for your truck. If you just want the high beams look for 9005. If you want low beams look for H11. I hope this helps.
Now that you have Auxito for the high beams, would you have gone with their low beams as well (instead of HR) for the cost savings?
Bruce, great question. Knowing what I know right now. I would have absolutely gone with the auxito low beam bulbs. I’m all about going with a great product for the lowest price. The only thing that would change my mind is if the auxito bulbs go out after like 6 months and the company didn’t warranty them. They’ve been working great for the couple months I’ve had them installed. I’m actually having an “issue” with the HR bulbs right now. Well to be fair, I’m not sure if it’s an issue but the passenger bulb fan kicks on for about the first minute that it turns on. It’s actually pretty loud. I can hear it from insider the cab. I’m not sure if that means the driver side fan isn’t working. It doesn’t seem right that the fan kicks on right away. It should wait until it begins to heat up in my opinion. So maybe it’s the bearing going out??? I haven’t written the company yet to ask them. Don’t get me wrong, they’re fantastic bulbs, but I’m not sure why they cost 3 times the amount of money. Hope this helps.
