I would imagine this is what a very very very young Coruscant would look like in Star Wars. Because the entire planet is basically one huge city built upon layer after layer of the old city levels.
As an ecologist, I question how Coruscant has air. If the number of people, and how thick the city is, how are people breathing? Do they have enough trees for clean oxygen? I’m sure many people in there are sick (because it is a cramped up city) but since I mention that, the planet should be dead by now like a wasteland full of a layer of junk…
It doesn't necessarily have good or bad vibes, but it's obviously totalitarian. The design symmetry and the artificial feels indicate that it is one man's design as opposed to many people's organic interactions. We do tend to associate totalitarianism with dystopia, though.
@@vdinh143 totalitarianism is dystopia, and even from a practical standpoint this city looks awful to live in. It's every bad thing about American cities with a symmetrical look to make you forget how horrible this would be to live in. Surrounded by highways, no third places, nothing is walkable.
At the junctions on the inner ring you have cars who are stopping at the node but arent going on the off ramp, this can be resolved by enabling the "enter blocked junction" option in tmpe, which can be found in the junction restrictions menu. This will stop the unnecessary backups forming You could also enable turning lanes which would also help with preventing back ups, by letting the cars who want to turn onto the highway in a different lane than the through traffic.
