In the future, it would be nice to allow preinfusion longer than 20 seconds. Recently I tried longer preinfusion than I do usually, going from 10 to 20 seconds, with the pump pushing for 2 seconds and the steam boiler on. On a lightly roasted Ethiopian coffee, this gave me both more flavor and body than I would usually get. I don't know if 30 seconds would be better or not, but I can't even try, and that's a pity. This way of doing preinfusion with steam pressure was for me a major reason to pick Elizabeth over Victoria, and it seems to be paying off. :)
I have a question for the kate pl82t. Can you do a how to video to set the opv to 12bar? I try it on the installed opv but this screw is to tight and i broke some material and now i ordered a new one
So if I understand correctly, the solenoid controls the filling up of the steam boiler and also the steam pre infusion, correct? My Elizabeth has a problem: steam works (the boiler fills up, I can steam milk and I can get hot water from the hot water tap on the left) but when I do a pre infusion with steam, the pressure gauge stays at 0.5 bars (tested with a blind filter) and never goes up. Could this be a faulty solenoid? Or a problem with the electronics? What is the reference for this solenoid? Machine is running under 5.05 firmware.
@@lelitinsider2977 I have changed some of the advanced setting controls based on Dave Corby so my PID reads the actual temp of the brew boiler. When I do a cooling flush, I'll see the brew boiler temp drop a couple degrees but it quickly rises back up to my set temp. It seems like either way I'm pulling shots at my set temp, no? Where is the over-heating occurring? And if it is occurring, why isn't the machine indicating that on the PID? Just looking for clarification. Thanks!
Hello, I use the lelit victoria pl91t. Is it wise to reduce the pressure to 9 bar instead of 12 bar? I only use the machine for expresso so not for the pod. Hope you can help me....

thank you for the advise!
Thank you! useful information 👍
Is it enough to just change the lcc on my elizabeth v2 machine to use the lcc features in lelit elizabeth v3?

Also, where do you plug the LED to do this test? Between the red wire on the solenoid and where?
I have Elizabeth v2. How can I update the LCC software version? Is it necessary to replace LCC?
yes
Do you recommend a 'cooling flush' before we pull shots of espresso on the Elizabeth? I know that's common on HX machines, but this isn't one.
I'll do a couple to drop the temp down to my set temp if I'm in a hurry.
yes, in the V2 nd v3 version you have to use the "purge function" button 1 and 2" this control the overheat and the machine works better!

@@bluemystic7501 with that settings no cooling flush is needed. I also use those settings and don’t get any temperature fluctuations.
@@chekauk7596 Yeah, I'm trying to make sense of it all. I don't think a cooling flush is doing anything given our
settings.

the problem is that you have to remove the back panel, please contact your reseller for more information!
Thx for your answer!
But get the espresso taste better at 9 bar?
If i ground courser a single espresso runs through in 15 sec. I think thats to fast??
Sir, why the “E” does not appear after you turn off the steam boiler?
because the steam boiler is on
Is there really no one in that company with an even remotely decent English diction?
Made in Italy, bro.
