- Had so many ask us to do another video showing exactly how we make the monkeys food or monkey chow is what we call it. I can't pick a favorite! They are all amazing with their own personalities. Each had different things and behaves in different ways that I love! I would pay to come see them and love on them!! Only to you guys though, because this is the ONLY channel, where I've seen all of their needs being met, no matter what it takes from you two! And you can tell by the way that they get excited to see you, that they are in no shape or form abused. So this is my monkey fix channel, that I adore so much because I'm not in a position to ever have one. And would never try and get one. It's about their needs that I couldn't provide, so I'd never be that selfish because I want one. I'll just enjoy watching yours! Thank you for sharing them with us!!

Amazing how much work you put into this food for those Beautifully Loved Animals. They are so fortunate to have you and you them! Do they eat any form of meats ever? Just fruits, veggies and Nuts looks like. What about adding legumes into there food products. Are they allowed Onions/ Garlic, tomatoes, potatoes or peppers and grapes? 😊

Oh my stars, I couldn't stop laughing - in a good way. Froggy is such an adorable fur-boy with the sweetest face. Have you ever used one of those huge 30-qt. electric oven roasters for the food prep? They hold almost 8 gallons of food and you can just plop the veggies in, set it for however many minutes to cut down on your prep time. That's a lot of work, but we know how much you love those scallywags, and I know there are many people watching who would do just the same. I know I would.

When I was a kid 50 years ago Mom and I would go dumpster diving behind grocery stores they would throw away all the fruit and veggies and thats what we fed our 4 wooly monkeys.. perfectly safe food .. We would do the same exact process you guys do. I miss my 4 wooly friends.. We had the same farm you have, animals everywhere. Wooly Bippi Lola and Judy. 3 girls and a boy...Wooly turned into a man and got Bippi pregnant which ended in a still born we woke up one morning to see baby on the floor... Willie got to aggressive one day so we had to take him to the LA zoo where they all eventually went.. Big wooly attraction there. I do miss my sibs dearly. You guys allow me re live my childhood TY.

I don’t know if you know this or not, but I am at the part where Kevin is peeling the sweet potatoes .. you can boil them with the skin still on them and when the cool off you can peel it right off .. @@ourlifeadventures8992 Hello, today I prepared the recipe and although I made it without knowing the proportions, it was a success. 6 liters came out 🙌 I hope he continues to like it because I have had some complications getting him to like vegetables. What has helped him is that he really likes monkey croquettes but now with this recipe his diet will be much more nutritious. Again, thank you very much! 👌 🙌 🙉
Before you were able to get the monkeys, was there some time of training program you had to go through? If not, how did you learn how to keep them happy and healthy?
We had no prior experience
Thank God for the internet! I'm new to the whole monkeys-as-pets idea, and thought you would have to meet some form of criteria before you could have permits to have them. My thoughts on the permit is based on the fact that my late husband was a Master Falconer and wildlife rehabilitater when we met. The written test was the easy part! He also had to build a structure outside, and show proof that he had a constant food source, and another falconer to sponsor him before he could trap the hawk he planned to train as his hunting partner.
I assumed it would be like that with monkeys too. You two, and your family have given these special children of yours a beautiful, happy, healthy "childhood", and set them up for becoming healthy adults.
I have a question. Since spider eat mostly ripe fruit as their diet forllowed by smaller anounts of bugs and nuts, wjy do you cook the veg that you give them 1st. Why not just blend it up with the fruits and offer it all raw too them? Modern day blenders are great at pulverising raw veg. And secondly do they get offered treats of bugs and insects at times? Xxx
