Thomas Gerber but I think you can build o line and get a pass rusher before you have a qb. I don’t think order necessarily matters
@@dogs12310 I think its a terrible idea. Because in order to build a championship team you have to have a great qb and a great line at the same time. And in order too have that you have to play all those players. If you get the qb first you can dish out a nice contract to your franchise qb and have multiple lineman on rookie deals.
@@tycardwell2991 It's also a lot easier to build a functional line through trades and free agency than through the draft. Franchise QBs are much harder to find and/or acquire unless you have a high draft pick. Also, if you have a franchise QB under a rookie contract, it buys you the time and money to get experienced guys (trades and FA) now while starting to find and develop young guys for later.

You can’t go by what a person says. A year ago he said he was going to go baseball and skip football. A year later he says he’s going to skip baseball and go to football. I can’t understand how reporters blindly believe whatever people say as if it’s not ever going to change. Things change. As soon as this kid gets hit by 230 pound linebacker on his blind side he’s going to quit and go to baseball.

Personally, I have to agree with Colin on this one. You don't have to do those 3 things in that order to succeed in the NFL. If you have a stellar O-Line and a monstrous pass-rush, you will still definitely win games in the NFL. Granted, you plug a great QB in and you will win more, but that concept applies to literally any team.
If you think fit and system doesn't matter, wait until Belichick gets his hands on Rosen.

Just to put a clarification on the stat about QBs being more lucrative, Matt Weiters is still playing, Kris Bryant will play for another 10-15 years. Over a 5 year span you make more in the NFL but you can make money for so much longer in the mlb

The problem with the Cardinals extend waaayyy beyond quarterback. Rotating offensive line, their one consistent offensive weapon will retire at the latest after this season in Fitzgerald.
Kyler could decide NFL and take a beating for his whole career and sustain brain trauma, or play baseball and have a good time for 20. Id choose baseball. Klatt acts like baseball players get paid a Chevron cashier salary.

Thats a subjective matter though, and obviously if Arizona drafts Kyler they dont believe they have 1 set with Rosen. If they believed that they wouldnt go get Kyler
It could be giving up on Rosen too quickly, it could also be that they learned enough about him after year 1 to know he isnt their guy. And if thats the case Id want my team to move fast instead of saying "well we HAVE to give him 3 years since we just drafted him, even though we strongly believe now hes not the guy and we have a chance to get someone that we think IS the guy"
If they miss on kyler you can blame scouting and development, but i 100p would back my team being decisive making a change if they felt i was the right change@@acegonzalez8276

Arizona does a preseason media package featuring their prime players. Josh Rosen was not included in the package. (He's gone):) The NFL commissioner wants to keep the draft mystic, thus if Arizona trade Rosen now then its a forgone conclusion they will draft Murry. Also they are trying to get the most for Josh.
Honestly, this is the best thing that could have happened to Rosen. The Dolphins recent history is a team that is solid but lacks a QB.
I'm a niners fan so i desperately hope the cards will take kyler, so that's clear.
I just asked myself, if you need these three things (QB, T/G and DE) to be successful anyway.
You could make the argument to take de number 3 (DE) now. Bc Bosa is such a gifted talent. Then if next year is a qb on the board, you take him and then within the third year you have also fixed your OL.
Because if you take the qb now, then next year or the year after you go after a DE and fixed your OL in year 3.
The upside where you take bosa now is, that until next or the third year you can try with rosen and you can see more of him, so you can decide to move on from him or not..
What i mean is, if bosa is a generational talent as colin says. He has a point.
