🤩- She is everything from one's youth in the 1970s, 80s and so on... until now through 60 years of powerful performance on stages around the world - so great done by her - we all love you Suzi!
I love her I love her I love her, and totally, STILL in love with Suzi Quatro. I remember in 1974 (I was nearly 13) Listening to the Album at my older cousins house. That was it for me. Can the Can.
such a positive human being she is. always has been. and i am still drowning in her big blue eyes as i was back in the seventies. great cat, great base player and an avantgarde for so many women in the rock industry. 👏👏👏❤
I remember when Devil Gate Drive was a huge hit for Suzi. When I saw her on top of the pops I thought Who is that ? She was just fantastic. I even went out and bought the single. Years later I went to see her in an open air concert. Alvin Stardust was also on with Suzi. Both were just brilliant. I grew up listening to 70s performers like Suzi Quarto and Alvin Stardust. Both were part of the glam rock Era. The 70s were really special for me. The music was superb. Marc Bolam, David Bowie, Queen, Abba , Mud, Showadiwadi, and Gerry rafferty.
She wore a lovely bob cut in the 1990s and 2000s. Of course she was much younger, but it looked great. So beautiful. So feminine. It set off her big beautiful blue eyes.
She wasn't the first female bass player, but the interviewer said "the first female bass player to front a band." Megan Davies played a more traditional bass player's role in the background. There were plenty of women before Suzi who also "paved the way for women in rock". However, Suzi was the first to lead a band under her own name, sing, and play electric bass, whilst wearing a leather catsuit and appearing on Happy Days. Quite a first! I saw her live at Rock City, Nottingham, UK, once, many years ago. A good fun night of sing along rock n roll.
❣IMHO I RECALL CATS EYES NOT MANY OTHERS AND GLAD PEOPLE ARE GOING OUT INTO THE CONCERTS OR SOMETHING THEY WANT TO DO,BETTER THAN WORRYING OR SITTING DOING ZERO. IMHO IMO LAUGHTER IS ONE OF THE BEST MEDICINES TRUE BUT IN THE BACK OF ALL MINDS?NOT ALL MY MINDS THINK ALIKE AND NO TWO ARE ALIKE??? IMHO.
WHY does every single time she is interviewed these Bozos explain things like they are talking to a majority of People who have never heard of her , its annoyingly bizzare, then play some old Clips, same , same. Mention she has some music out but never, ever will they play it

I had a pin up of Suzie on my bedroom wall...........just like most boys back in the 70's. Great artist, the eternal rocker. Love you Suzie.

Lovely
nice one suzi,
How lovely
What a women
She looks great!! I can see her in a nice short hair cut, it would actually make her look a lot younger.

I once knew the drummer on Can the Can.Keith Hodge.
I haven't seen him since 1973.Strange player. He used ride cymbles as hi- hats. They really cut through.Nice guy too.
Wow. What did he have to say about his time with Suzi before she was famous ?
I was utterly SMITTEN with Suzy when I was a teen….lol (Paul)
She's not in the Rock'n'roll Hall of Fame which seems kind of insane. But then, maybe she's too cool for it.
But her clone, Joan is !!
Go figure
Still the Glycerine Queen 😊
Wut? 🙂
@ThePantygun The glyserin queen
Leather Tuscadero!
She wasn't the first female bass player. Megan Davies of the applejacks.

Legend? Bit overstated.

A mighty wonder.... where interest is greater than talent.
Don't know that Suzi inspired Debbie Harry like the interviewer said, but anyways.....
Not so much to get into music but to be that sensual and dangerous style of performer, perhaps
I must be honest she was pretty crap…. But good luck to her😀🇬🇧
Thought Suzi died
