Why did the Thor machine curl the soft leather? Can this effect be adjusted out with tension adjustments? It did the same thing to a lesser degree on the vinyl. Please explain.

i was gifted a Yamata 1541S compound walking foot that looks exactly like this Thor. The foot on my machine is very large and difficult to sew narrow seams with for bag making. Is there a narrow comment walking foot that will fit my machine? Thanks!

Does this machine come with a speed reducer as well as a servo motor?
Servo is standard. I added a speed reducer and can go slow enough to stop anywhere in the stitch rotation.
