Glad I found your channel! Love how raw you are. My wife and I own a small textile business and I just upgraded to this machine and I feel like doors have been opened! I've been hand stitching every leather project from belts to shoulder rigs and bags.

I made a similar tool pouch that I mounted on the head cover . I also made an overhead bar of conduit and mounted a 4 ft double LED light fixture ( super bright ).

Hi,where do you get the magnetic light for over the needle?

I’m one of those that got into bag making during quarantine and subsequent layoff and retirement. I’ve quilted for 25 years. I bought an industrial (Kingmax 0302) a few months ago with a needle positioner and direct drive. I have it set for the lowest speed possible, It still is too fast for me, and I don’t have the control I need and want. Can you put a speed reducer on a direct drive machine?

Where can you find the flip up seam guide that attaches to the foot? I can’t find them anywhere.

    Hello Christopher,
I also recently bought a Juki DNU 1541. Your variant for speed reduction with the double belt wheel I find good and also better than other variants with very large hand wheel on the machine. Where does the double belt wheel with holder come from on your machine?
    Greetings from Germany.

I do not know where you would get one in Germany but here in the states you can get one from the places that sell industrial sewing machines.

nice video! may I ask what's the difference between the variants of the DNU1541? there's DNU1541, 1541-S, 1541-7 and 1541x25545 etc etc

1541 is base machine. 1541S has safety mechanism which is essentially a kill switch that stops the machine if something goes haywire to stop damage to the machine. 1541-7 has some automated things like thread cutting and back stitching.

I would suggest that if the instructions did not come with your motor to contact the vendor you purchased it from to assist you.

It’s sad that it’s hard to find made in America, I used to be a seamstress when we had manufacturing in America, started in 1987 worked until 1998. The jobs left.

murica is gone the young people don't realize it because they never saw it and the older people are either deluded into believing everything will somehow magically change or just in denial. In fact the plan says that this country will be unrecognizable from a third world counterpart by 2030. Would you argue that? I wouldn't.
