Thanks for sharing this video. I recieved a brand new Juki at work and I had no idea how to set it up. Your video was very helpful and I look like an expert sewing machine assembler.
Just took possession of my machine today. Oh yeah, the reason that oil catch is there is not to dispose of the oil collected but rather collect it to reuse again. This is my first servo motor. Good god this machine table was light weight! I hope I can adapt to this servo motor. I’m so used to the clutch motors.
My Juki “June” is coming tomorrow. I paid extra to have it assembled which I sure hope I actually assembled. There is no way I’m going to be able to do all those steps. Whew!
You could do it if you had to! I learned a long time ago that 10% knowledge and 90% guts gets most tasks done. David did a great video; orderly and to the point. You will be happy to see it arrive assembled. I'm in envy.
THANK YOU. It was a last min video.. The girls kept asking me so I delivered. I know I'm not perfect with my terms yet, but hey its better than no set up video.
It would be helpful to know if the gap on the right side of the oil pan is required and if so, how much gap is needed in order have proper clearance to fit the knee lift hardware thru the hole. Juki should put marks on the wood where the nails should go. I will know later today if my 1/4" gap is enough.
Hi, your video is about the model "S". Would a plain model 1541 be ok for a beginner working with leather in car upholstery, or would you really advocate going for a model "S" ? Thanks!
Hola buenas tardes soy Aldemar vivo en España y estoy muy interesado en una máquina Juki 1541me gustaría saber dónde la puedo comprar aquí en Madrid muchas gracias
@@JukiJunkies I only found this video after I ordered it elsewhere. I may order other items from you. This is a good video that benefits everyone who has to put this thing together. Thanks for putting it out there.
@@JukiJunkies Thank you! Will I notice anything performance wise between the two? If so, is it possible to "upgrade" the non-S to the S? Thank you so much for all you do, I'm loving the channel!

@@JukiJunkiesyou did a great job David! I’ve watched it many times as my 1541S arrives tomorrow 😊❤
Thank you
Are you going to video (1541S table with wheels)
Do you have a video on how to assemble the table? I have an extra part
We don't, our machines ship with it assembled :)

We typically fit it it on before nailing it in to insure proper fitment. Make so the pan has a slight slope for the oil to fall as well.

Junkies sewing machine 1541s :The bar for need pad to sew don’t fit.
Oil pan wrong position
How much different is the setup if you have the DNU-1541 and not the "S" model? (Newbee here!!!)
