The timeline is different. Hopefully when he finds out he remembers how he acted when she tried to tell him about Marina. Not saying that excuses her behavior but no one ever listens to her unless she's Lady Whistledown.

I can’t stand the Marina story line. She took advantage of Colin, and almost took him away from Pen (even though they weren’t together). It’s irritating every time he bring a her up.
