Lord Debling came and went. I thought he was going to play a bigger role as a love interest, but his story fell flat. Idk I was excited about Pen and Colin’s story but I’m left unsatisfied
I agree. I was excited for this season but it was a let down for me. Not enough character development for Colin and Pen. Also why didn't they include flashbacks? Show us Colins travels or when they first met.
I think they should have kept Debling into the second half and put Cressida's claim to be Whistledown in the first half. That way there would be more time for Colin's feelings toward Penelope to evolve, he could find out about her being Whistledown with Lord Debling still in play and then he would have to decide whether to accept all of her or lose her forever to another man. I absolutely hate that they had them engaged and having sex before he found out, it was so wrong and totally messed up the flow of their story. Keeping Lord Debling around longer would also have opened up the possibility for him to settle for Cressida. No one else would have her after she embarrassed herself and her family with her false claim about being Whistledown and he spent most of his time in town focusing on Penelope so he wouldn't have time to be picky. Given he admired Penelope for being willing to ask for help to find a husband, for "stepping away from the herd even though it made her a target," he might even approve of Cressida taking that chance.
Agree with the comments here. They sold it short with many scenes with Benedict and the threesome. Colin should have had to ‘compete’ against Debling some more and Pen should have help out until he charred. By the way…did the family not find it strange that Eloise and Pen were not friends anymore? And my goodness…when the engagement was mentioned in whistledown why did they not suspect her…they weren’t many people who were present for the breaking of that news. I would like to say that Colin was young when he met Marina…became infatuated and he made mistakes, don’t we all. Penn made some too.
Also we need to talk about how Eloise Bridgerton has proved not to be a good friend again and again. They made Eloise a strong and honest character all throughout s1 and s2 and in s3 she just straight up entered into her idhaf energy even to those who were near to hear. For example with what happened with Cressida, she wasn't there at all to support her. She did the same with Pen as well.
Fr I was so mad when Eloise said that she doesn't want to be friends with Cressida anymore and especially when she told Pen that this friendship was never serious like Cressida was so nice to her by not telling everyone about Pens and Colins deal to find Pen a husband and really relied on and trusted her and all of a sudden Eloise lets her fall I was also kinda mad at Pen for forgiving Eloise just like that
@@Sarah_1155 omg exactly I am so mad at this retrogressive development. Cressida genuinely saw a friend in her and Eloise just saw her as a replacement Pen and kind of discarded her as a villainous person by the end like what?? Did you even try to understand her reasons or at least try to offer her advices and the basic of all, an hear?? Shows her humanity at its finest I believe. The writers really took their liberties of making the characters comit subpar choices.
@@artwithsaya Yes I was so happy about seeing more of Cressida and understanding her a bit more and she really tried to be a good friend to Eloise while Eloise was just focused on Pen and didn't even care about Cressidas problems Instead they pictured Cressida as the villain again when she actually just wanted to escape a marriage with some old creepy man and being free for once without having to worry about a husband or society
@@Sarah_1155 yes I believe I liked Cressida here more than anyone because she was being real. People do desperate things in desperate times and that relates to us. Doesn't necessarily mean right or wrong but everything else was bonkers like whyyy? They literally stepped on whatever they created in the first part. Crazy.
@@artwithsaya Same she felt like the strongest character this season and honestly I personally could understand all her actions I think anyone would have used an opportunity to escape such a life she had and it wasn't wrong at all for her to ask for Eloises help or support We all need at least someone we can lean on and ask for advice in tough times and she wanted it to be her only friend Eloise but she let her down sadly I genuinly hope to see more of her in the next seasons (didn't read the books so idk what's gonna happen) and maybe seeing her find happiness in a true friend or finally someone she can love without worrying about money or what society thinks I really wish that for her
Finally someone who finds Colin annoying! Why did he not suffer enough? Also the audacity of him to compare his life and family(aka his privileges) to Cressida's istg
@@modeee-y9lI wish they added Micheal and not gender swap him into a girl version…not that there’s anything wrong with that concept, but it will be strange on how they add that concept into the 4th season..(after John dies)
@@choiga-in I'm more disappointed at their character of choice for representing a queer love story. Benedict... Eloise... they're RIGHT there. On top of that I agree especially because I'm not a fan of love triangles
I don't see Penelope as a pick me, she's just really desperate for love of a one particular man. But it definitely would be better if she kissed him and parted ways, denied his advances and went on to marry someone who isn't ashamed to be associated with her in any setting. Them marrying each other looks like a big big fanservice, rather than believable romance. Considering, how he abruptly went on wanting to marry her, after a kiss? After she begged for it while being afraid that she won't be loved in her lifetime? I'm sorry for Penelope, but making her life into a fairy tale is unfair.
Francesca was my absolute favorite part I was like yep there’s my neurodivergent representation that I was looking for in this show ALSO NO ONE TALKS ABOUT HOW AWFUL THAT BALLOON SCENE WAS GIRL JSUT JUMP OUT THE WAYYY
She fell and was in shock sure it would've been logical to just go or jump out of the way like Eloise, Cressida and Lord Debling did but then again some people really can't move if they are shocked and scared
@@Sarah_1155 that’s true! I just think lord debling could’ve helped at least by pushing her out of the way or shielding her, just grabbing her just isn’t enough to make it a romantic or heroic gesture for me personally
@@TheArtGremlin Exactly that's why Lord Debling wasn't a hero at all in my eyes there would've definitely been enough time to just grab her and drag or push her out of the way that laying down with her would've done nothing
The fact that Eloise did not know that Penelope had feelings for Colin is so wild 😭 Like how can you not notice your BESTFRIEND SINCE CHILDHOOD looking at your brother with so much longing. Just goes to show that Eloise is not a very good friend to Pen
This season all the characters felt like former shells of themselves. It felt like watching totally new, half baked characters. Somthing was missing. The show needed more than 8 eps, too much was going on and none of it landed with any impact, especially the LW revealation to Colin. I had to replay it because like whut just happened? I also think the PR was too much this season. It overhyped it and now theres more disappointment because of it.
@@Madi-hu2pq because they were. The new showrunner clearly doesn’t have the talent or the comprehensive ability to write nuance and complex characters. So she just turned them into shells to simplify everything.
@@jayo7812 But does that mean all of the writers were new as well? Its just crazy how it seemed so different from previous seasons. What exactly is the showrunners role in this show?
@@sarickacampbell2642 I hope they can listen to constructive criticism and make the next season better. I have seen a lot of people share their dislike and problems with season 3, I just wonder if they are actually hearing/listening to them.
@@courtneyroberts84 honestly season 2 as well.. i’ve only liked s1 and hoped for eloise and theo to be a couple. if eloise gets her breakout season i will watch but if not im glad i only watched s1
I mean, when those scenes are coming in between Colin & Pen & LW & Cressida & Eloise & Fran & John & Lady D & the beef with his brothers & Violet in between like it's just a bit too many stories for 4 episodes to cramped into. Way too many into 1 part & even 1 season. Netflix, at this point, should have given Shondaland 2 or 3 more episodes, like seriously...
@@deffdefying4803 They are cute and all but they are not even relevant to the storyline like I wouldn't mind one scene but the whole think was so unnecessary.
They need to redo this WHOLE season!!! Men in Black all of us 📸📸📸📸and do this shit OVER!!!! This is horrible! I would rather wait 2 more years for a better version of this shit than to continue this storyline!!! Penelope is the story! She is Lady Whistledown out of all this girls she deserve the best storyline especially since it’s been a built up that she loved this boy for years and always desire this boy and they gave us this SHIT?!?! Noooooo!!!! And the fact that Fran just got married to her fine ass man a second ago and is already falling in love with someone else?! Wtf is going on?!
I just dont understand why they shoved so many stories into 1 8-episode arc like MAKE IT 10!!! 12!!! this very video didn't even have the space to include the Mondriches, Violet + Lord Anderson, Eloise and Cressida... too much. no space.
After he shamed her so heavily for being Lady Whistledown in contrast to Lord Veg, I just felt so downright uninterested in Colin and his shit. I don't see Pen as a pick me so much as blinded by a dumb crush. Omg I blocked out the part about her groveling for a kiss -- the clownery😭😭 Her character arc would've ended better with her letting go of Colin and learning to love someone who respects and sees her -- Lord Dublin. I dunno what Colin was like in the books, but in this show he's an absolute jerk and just doesn't make up for his antics. Also, that final speech was the cringiest shit I've ever seen. Please God no. Never again.
I still don't UNDERSTAND how your main goal in life is to get your daughter married but NEVER have the sex talk with them. I get this era was very VERY conservative, but come the f on !!!
It's historically very inaccurate. In a time where you could ruin your entire family's reputation if you got caught in an indecent situation, of course you had to know what to avoid. It pisses me really of that they chose to carry on with that dumb misconception, but of course they knew how babies were made. Maybe very vaguelly, but they knew.
it still happens in many places in the world.. it's not the main goal but people do force their daughters to get married and still never have the sex talk with them.. they hope the husbands know the shit necessary
Horrible season. Colin and Penelope were bland. Penelope was annoying. I'm not going to be tuning in unless Eloise ends up with Theo. In the meantime, I'll continue watching QC and season 2 as a way to cope.
@@thatgenuineperson I think the old show-runner said he was going to show up again, and he had plans for Theo's character, but I'm not sure if this new show-runner will even include him in Eloise's story. I'm hoping so, but I doubt it
This season was completely underwhelming. They had everything they had the books (the literal blueprint) and still managed to mess it up. Someone please tell me why Polin were background characters in their own season. Why were there so many side storylines… they could’ve waited until S4 for some of them. Why do I know so much more about the side characters than Penelope and Colin? Why was the confession scene so weak and just lacking? I didn’t cry, I didn’t feel anything at all. Why wasn’t Colin on his knees begging Pen to take him back after that entrapment comment? When he’s the one who ruined her… Why wasn’t he about to cry when she brought up annulling their marriage? (and by then he should’ve known she was with child?) Why didn’t Colin fight for his LOVE, why didn’t he fight for his MARRIAGE / for his WIFE? I swear to you I did not feel any love between them not even after his pathetic speech at the end. What I got from Colin is that he was so touched that she loved him and also just happy to just be her shadow… Pen could’ve gotten their marriage annulled and lived as an independent single mother and nobody would bat an eyelash or think twice. They built up her entire character arc so much that we didn’t even see what Colin added to her life other than being her accessory and finally admitting he was jealous of her / her accomplishments. His I love you was underwhelming and at the last scene Pen even had to say “I love you” yet AGAIN before him. He didn’t match her passion / energy. We wanted the “I love you with everything I am” speech. What we got didn’t even come close to it. It’s like Pen begged him to love her the entire season and it’s so sad to see. She loved him unconditionally and was willing to sacrifice herself / her family in order to protect him / the Bridgerton name. Tell me what on earth Colin did other than sit back and sulk / hold a grudge against Penelope and Whistledown? Like ok you’re mad and confused but mf GET OVER IT? Where was his character arc / growth? Why didn’t he try? HE JUST GAVE UP. And when he did try to help he only made matters worse with Cressida. Imo Pen was completely alone in the honeymoon stages of their marriage… she needed communication, emotional support hell she needed him to stand beside her when she was revealing her secret to the ton and he wasn’t even there? BYE. He couldn’t even just stand with her and offer his hand to encourage / steady her if she needed it? She said she didn’t need his help but she still surely wanted her husband by her side at such a crucial moment. Basically he only loved her after she fixed her mess and QC / the ton accepted that she was Whistledown. Sorry Colin but you disappointed us. You will never be Anthony or George. Those men love their women down, worship the very ground they walk on and would never leave them in the dark. They were utterly convincing while Colin out here just leaving everyone high and dry. The story lacked flashbacks from childhood, focusing on Colin's love for Pen and his struggle to stay away from her. We needed to see the EXACT moment something shifted and he realized he was in love with Pen. The characters' back stories were poorly developed, and the Whistledown plot was dragged. The writers could have created more marital conflict and drama, including Pen's trauma and her hyper independence (from the neglect by her mom & sisters or losing Eloise as a friend) + touched on her abandonment issues. For Colin they should’ve given us insight into his people pleasing tendencies & his savior complex. Pen and Colin’s character arcs were half-baked. They didn’t show us why they made sense tg. We wanted to see Polin as a TEAM, working TOGETHER (writing/editing + fixing the WD mess) but we didn’t even get that. They lost the ENTIRE PLOT. The issue w/ Anthony “I am a gentleman” Bridgerton would never let his heavily pregnant wife to travel all the way to India just to have their baby? Bffr. Yes, I understand they may not be available for other seasons but surely they could’ve written something else to explain their absence like maybe city life was not for them and they move to the countryside for the birth of their baby? Or maybe they just wanted more time to themselves to enjoy their marriage (like Daphne & Simon) Also Anthony’s character was entirely different to who he was in S2. His character seemed so over the top and silly… he literally became a clown 🤡 Yes, we understand he’s head over heels in love with Kate but that doesn’t mean he would just become a fool and forget his duties / responsibilities as the viscount / head of the Bridgerton household. Imo he was just comedic relief. Honestly the writers needed to show Kate and Anthony being more involved… even when it came down to Pen and her LW secret. That scene in the drawing room was missing something, it just seemed like empty advice. I believe that Anthony and Kate deserved to know and that Anthony should’ve been there to give Colin a much needed wake-up call. He should’ve slapped some sense into Colin and told him to fight for his wife and not give up on her / their marriage if he truly loves her. Where was that?? Also where were them being closer with Hyacinth and Gregory? Idk we just needed to see more moments of them taking on the role of being mature and understanding parental figures to the younger Bridgerton kids or just leading the family + offering moral support. The writers completely had no idea what to do with them and it showed. I don’t even want to get into Michael-a, Francesca & John… bc lord knows this show will be canceled before they get there. John and Francesca were positively boring and just when they got people on board and rooting for them, they pull the rug from right underneath us. All the foreshadowing about his death lmfao John could’ve dropped dead right then and there at his wedding for all they cared. But the biggest issue is the way they ruined Francesca and John’s love story by making it seem Francesca is no longer in love with John and that she didn’t like the kiss she shared with him at their wedding. And now apparently she’s mirroring Violet by falling for Michael-a at first sight / being too stunned to speak? Hello that didn’t even translate well because Francesca looked shocked and scared instead of “in love” 😪 spare me… this isn’t how the story went in the book. Francesca was completely in love with John and she was deeply affected by his passing. Michael always loved her when they first met but she didn’t see him as anything other than a friend. It was only after John’s death that they grew closer and she thought she could feel something for him. Benedict was absolutely useless and he took up sm screen time being the community bicycle. That man is so ran through I wonder if he doesn’t have any STDs like he needs to get himself checked 😭 I truly feel sorry for Sophie bc this is what she’ll have to deal with. Sorry but his future partner deserves better than this. This is not the same Benny from S2 who clocked Anthony and even gave him a speech about what it is to “truly admire a woman” Where did that guy go? Why is he STILL a JOBLESS LOSER? Why was he the villain in Tilly’s story? The way he didn’t even feel bad after breaking her heart? THAT’S NOT OUR BENEDICT BRIDGERTON. They ruined our sweet, silly boy. The writers could’ve used the time to make him fall in love with art and develop his passions again instead they write him as a free spirit who can just fk down the entire ton? BYE 😭💀 The writers can’t convince me this SAME man will give up everything to save Sophie in their Cinderella retelling or even give up his freedom / community expeditions. Poor Sophie. WOMEN DESERVE BETTER! BRIDGERTON NEEDS TO DO BETTER… Bridgerton has lost its magic to say the least. Like it wasn’t that hard to write a convincing love story it’s the fact that the showrunner herself couldn’t see why Colin would love Penelope and why they make sense / complete eachother and that’s the saddest part. Shonda should have been in that writers room… she should’ve run the show. She would have done Penelope and Colin justice. With this season Polin had more sad / depressing moments than happy ones. Yes the friendship & family plot was adequately done but once again the lack of romance between the main couple was evident and they rendered their characters useless like background noise amidst everything else going on. I believe they needed more than 8 episodes to adequately convey Polin’s love story as well as squeeze in screen time for the other side characters stories. Two freaking years for this??? PLEASE TELL ME YOU’RE JOKING 😭😭😭 This season needed to be at least 12 episodes with all the nonsense going on. They definitely lost some fans after this mess of a season. Sorry not sorry but I was happy and thought I enjoyed this season at first then reality checked in and I realized how much this season lacked compared to the others. S3 in a nutshell: *WE WERE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU!!!* + all this extravagant PR, anticipation and build up for WHAT??? I’ll tell you… *ABSOLUTELY NOTHING* The plate is *EMPTY* and we’re still *STARVING* Reality: *_DISAPPOINTMENT_* **cue “Please Please Please” by Sabrina Carpenter** - *I BEG YOU DON’T EMBARRASS ME MF* 😤😒 *_(SORRY YOU FAILED!)_* … and not to be mean / rude but someone deserves to be FIRED for this joke of a season served up on a silver platter 😭💀 Disclaimer: This is not me hating on the actors bc imo everyone is phenomenal / good at their jobs. The acting is not the issue here. It’s just that the storytelling / writing is weak. Actors can only do so much and no more with the scripts they’re given. But anyways, people disliking this season are valid and we won’t be silenced 🧏♀️
Omg you spoke my soul and perfectly explained everything I was feeling this entire season. They ruined it with the plot this time around and the ending??? Desert ain't deserting. It gone stale. Now imma have to reread the books to feel whole.

I agree on Benedict I was actually so mad to see a lot of him in this season (that alone wasn't the problem) where he actually just fucked Tilley and had sex with a man of course him questioning his sexuality was kinda interesting but to be hones I would've wanted to see more of his passion for art or something instead of something that may have a little impact on his story but consumed like nearly half of someone elses season
Francesca and John together (bar the weird asf self insertion the showrunner did in the last 10mins of the season) with Penelope mom(forgot her name)stole the show tbh.
Real omggg 😭 Portia’s acting was amazing. But so are alll the other older women. Agatha (esp her), Violet and Queen Charlotte always carry the show on their backs 😭 I thought Danbury and her brothers story was sad and it added something to her story but I do think that all these storylines even John and Francesca could’ve been kept until S4 if anything bc they didn’t add to Colin and Penelope’s story… in fact they overshadowed them. The showrunner treated this season like a multiple pov show like friends minus the actual amount of episodes she had to convey all those stories 😭 she was doing tooo much!
@@krisgomes4381 Ofc Francesca is gorgeous there’s no doubt about that but Penelope is stunning and people should appreciate her more especially in her own season
The new showrunner didn’t just drop the ball. She punctured and deflated it. The characterization, for every single character was horrendous. Colin was by far the worse. This toxic masculinity F boy redemption arc makes no goddamn sense for Colin’s character. And she was too busy, giving him this shitty characterization she forgot to give him a personality. And both the previous showrunner, (Chris) and the current showrunner (Jess) decided that Colin was a demisexual virgin, but current showrunner (Jess) decided to change it last minute, because Shonda convinced her to tell a story about toxic masculinity. Ignoring all the groundwork previously set up and confusing the hell out of everybody. And permanently ruining Colins character. She couldn’t write substantial dialogue for Penelope to explain herself about anything just the same repetitive apologizing which book Penelope would not lay down and make bitch baby Colin shit 💩 all over her life’s work there was a point in the book where she told him to stop talking because she’s talking now. The previous show-runner (Chris) could answer all of Penelope’s character motivations. He said in an interview that the Marina thing was necessary to get Colin out completely unscathed due to the political setting of the time. A man can’t pull his proposal, but a woman can. He said something about Marina potentially suing, Colin for breach of contract and not releasing him, from his proposal after all, he publicly declared it so it was as good as set in stone, and potentially framing him for Fathering her child. There’s no DNA 🧬 test vindicate him. Penelope was scared that Marina wouldn’t give Colin the grace to choose. So she gave him the choice to choose by publishing in Whistledown. The choice Marina tried to deny him. You’re telling me the new showrunner couldn’t write. Dialogue to explain that ? She just keeps having Penelope say the same apologetic repetitive dialogue that isn’t answering anything. Haven’t Penelope screaming about being sorry but also not being sorry. What is she sorry for ? But she’s also not sorry at all. What the fuck is this writing?
@@sarickacampbell2642 I love all your insights!! You absolutely get it and the old showrunner did too. Some people act like what Penelope did to Marina was unforgivable but Penelope has always been putting the Bridgertons before herself (with both Eloise and Colin) and she basically did that again with the way this season unfolded. I think Penelope was valid for everything she did and just trying to protect the people she loves. Imo Penelope deserved apologies but instead they made her an apologist. Make it make sense!!! Ugh I’m so mad about how the showrunner did both Pen and Colin dirty. It’s so obvious she herself couldn’t see why Colin would love someone like Pen and also she’s not attracted to men in the 1st place so that’s why Colin came off as superficial and shallow. How they wrote him gave everyone the ick bc it seemed like he became this fboy during his travels then he came back he was a completely diff person but decided to help Pen to make it up to her, then he kissed Pen and immediately fell for her??? then when they got engaged and he found out her secret it’s like all sense was thrown out the window and he couldn’t be rational, put his anger/frustration aside and try to see things from her pov. He left Pen completely alone and in the dark forcing her to figure things out herself then they try to mull it over like she’s a strong independent woman who doesn’t need a man and can solve her own problems, yet she chose to stay with Colin who was so cold and unfeeling towards her? Surely with all that growth she should’ve realized she’s good on her own and lowkey deserves sm better? Imo it came across like Colin he never really truly loved Pen and that Pen really did “entrapped” him as he said and forced / begged him to love her. That’s not what anyone wanted to see.
This is the most interesting but poor executed season. It's difficult to appreciate the characters, when the story was just flat. There are also many gender swapped characters that they want us to expect to watch out in the next season. Tbh I'd get Eloise and Benedict, but Francesca?
There was not enough romance or moments of love between our main couple. I finished watching this not seeing why Penelope and Colin even needed to be together. IMO Colin didn’t grovel or yearn enough for her. Also they completely erased both characters back stories which I think would’ve added more depth to their characters. Idk exactly but this season was missing a lot for sure. Also the excessive side stories was an overkill… they drowned out our main couple 😢

This season had so much potential at the start but it felt too rushed and was incredibly underwhelming. I just felt bad for the people who put their time and energy into a season that didn’t feel complete. I think honestly the new showrunner kind of ruined the vibe that 1&2 had.
When the highlight chemistry, acting and convincing wise is your couple from last season, you’ve a big problem. This season felt cheap, amateur and quality wise (writing, editing, costumes, camera etc) was so below the other two, especially Queen Charlotte. Most storylines felt underwhelming, rushed and just all over the place. And Polin wasn’t convincing nor swoon worthy. Apart from Kanthony, the only reason this show was at times wonderful was Benedict x Eloise, the actress of Francesca and them finally giving in the Bi Benedict seeding / wishes since season 1 (hope they explore more what he thinks and feels about this new world opening) Polin 2/10 (plus more chemistry off screen, although a lot was clearly forced for PR by Nicola and Luke lol SNOOZE) Season overall 4/10 Kanthony 10/10 Benedict x Eloise 10/10 Bridgerton Family Scenes 9/10 And also kudos to all the underpaid and hard working crew behind the scenes and the actors for giving their all. But wow the new show runner and Shonda and Netflix need to step it UP. Disappointing.
Honestly nicola's over-acting and luke's non-existing one had me throwing up in my mouth a little during every single scene together they were so cringe💀💀
If you thought this was bad. Book Colin is *bad.* Dude is jealous, aggressive, and possessive. I did not like him. I do really like Penelope and Colin but I read the book first. So, my expectations were in the toilet lmao. I still enjoy the season so much. Your edit was absolutely hilarious
Dear gods, how I wish this season had just focused on Francesca and John's love story. I would've much rather they had more screen time and been the main couple of the season (because I really her character and the fact that she has slight autistic vibes, which I am all here for) giving the show an opportunity to better the idea "not every attachment has to be dramatic and hard-fought" that Francesca says in the argument with her mother. This would also allow a slower build up between Colin and Penelope (perhaps Colin starting to like Penelope in a more-than-friends way and finding out her secret identity and being rather conflicted about his feelings but ultimately deciding that Penelope's friendship is much more important), that allowing a better base for a future romance between the two in hypothetical future seasons.
Nahhh i am gonna say this that penelope and collin was the romance i was waiting for but boy was it a bit disappointing like i felt they had too much subplot and I didn't understand how collin was not even getting a redemption arc for his fucking dumb personality overall it pissed me off but I didn't HATE it just feel their could be more

YES IT IS HILARIOUSLY DUMB, and I LOVE IT THAT WAY HAHAHAH!! I also think that it would have played out more better if they stick to the timeline of the book version which would have their season either at the middle or last season of the Netflix series, have Pen and Colin's development showed little by little with each season past. Since the trope is Friends to lover, it would have fit better for their characters, THEY NEEDED MORE SCREEN TIME. But still, this season was not too bad. IT IS FUNNY.

Fr I was so mad when Eloise said that she doesn't want to be friends with Cressida anymore and especially when she told Pen that this friendship was never serious like Cressida was so nice to her by not telling everyone about Pens and Colins deal to find Pen a husband and really relied on and trusted her and all of a sudden Eloise lets her fall
I was also kinda mad at Pen for forgiving Eloise just like that
@@Sarah_1155 omg exactly I am so mad at this retrogressive development.
@@artwithsaya Yes I was so happy about seeing more of Cressida and understanding her a bit more and she really tried to be a good friend to Eloise while Eloise was just focused on Pen and didn't even care about Cressidas problems
Instead they pictured Cressida as the villain again when she actually just wanted to escape a marriage with some old creepy man and being free for once without having to worry about a husband or society
Crazy.
@@artwithsaya Same she felt like the strongest character this season and honestly I personally could understand all her actions I think anyone would have used an opportunity to escape such a life she had and it wasn't wrong at all for her to ask for Eloises help or support
We all need at least someone we can lean on and ask for advice in tough times and she wanted it to be her only friend Eloise but she let her down sadly
I genuinly hope to see more of her in the next seasons (didn't read the books so idk what's gonna happen) and maybe seeing her find happiness in a true friend or finally someone she can love without worrying about money or what society thinks I really wish that for her

That scene was IDIOTIC lmao but not worse than how they wrapped it up.

Omg I blocked out the part about her groveling for a kiss -- the clownery😭😭
Her character arc would've ended better with her letting go of Colin and learning to love someone who respects and sees her -- Lord Dublin. I dunno what Colin was like in the books, but in this show he's an absolute jerk and just doesn't make up for his antics.
Also, that final speech was the cringiest shit I've ever seen. Please God no. Never again.
Lord Dublín didn’t want love, Penelope did. Lord Dublin should’ve been with cressida

What I got from Colin is that he was so touched that she loved him and also just happy to just be her shadow…
Pen could’ve gotten their marriage annulled and lived as an independent single mother and nobody would bat an eyelash or think twice.
Or maybe they just wanted more time to themselves to enjoy their marriage (like Daphne & Simon)
Also Anthony’s character was entirely different to who he was in S2.
BRIDGERTON NEEDS TO DO BETTER…
Bridgerton has lost its magic to say the least.

Apart from Kanthony, the only reason this show was at times wonderful was Benedict x Eloise, the actress of Francesca and them finally giving in the Bi Benedict seeding / wishes since season 1 (hope they explore more what he thinks and feels about this new world opening)
Polin 2/10 (plus more chemistry off screen, although a lot was clearly forced for PR by Nicola and Luke lol SNOOZE)
Season overall 4/10
Kanthony 10/10
Benedict x Eloise 10/10
Bridgerton Family Scenes 9/10
And also kudos to all the underpaid and hard working crew behind the scenes and the actors for giving their all.
But wow the new show runner and Shonda and Netflix need to step it UP. Disappointing.
Honestly nicola's over-acting and luke's non-existing one had me throwing up in my mouth a little during every single scene together they were so cringe💀💀
they act how they are told to act. it's just that the directors told them to act like... that.
Some people are triggered by Penelope's desperado because it's a reflection of how they also behave 😂😂😂
You're so real for this. Said everything that was on my mind
The Cilian Murphy part 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If you thought this was bad. Book Colin is *bad.* Dude is jealous, aggressive, and possessive. I did not like him. I do really like Penelope and Colin but I read the book first. So, my expectations were in the toilet lmao. I still enjoy the season so much. Your edit was absolutely hilarious
Colin Cringe Bridgeton 😂😂😂😂😂
Is it weird that I LOVED your version of season 3 more than the original?
Not the i don't want peace part 😂😂😂I wasn't expecting that
Begging to get kissed is actually....quiet embarassing....
9:25 please- I hate that scene, like the slowmo was just not it
This edit was better than the actual season😂😂😂
Miss me, but never court me....story of my dating life right there!😭
Dear gods, how I wish this season had just focused on Francesca and John's love story.
Absolute COMEDY GOLD! WELL DONE ON YOUR VIDEO HERE❤
Thank you 🙏 💗
these videos are underrated ash
🥹💗💗
Violet Bridgerton is the "okay" meme the whole time
Nahhh i am gonna say this that penelope and collin was the romance i was waiting for but boy was it a bit disappointing like i felt they had too much subplot and I didn't understand how collin was not even getting a redemption arc for his fucking dumb personality overall it pissed me off but I didn't HATE it just feel their could be more
Why are the men so fine. I haven’t watched bridgerton, but I just might
Can’t agree more. Damn. 😂
yeah but Colin is smt else 💀
Not colin tho 💀 I mean they tried but still..
@@emoben3393he looks way better in real life than in the show, idk why
@@Ariadne4 the sideburns and they should’ve given him a stubble / beard
*laughs in money*
i love ur videos sm, theyre always so funny
🥹💗🤗thank you!
Hi Rent Free, we need more content like this which is a global trend than US related pop culture drama. That’s why you see so much fluctuations in the views. This video was funny as hell
Love the editing. So funny. 😅🤣🤣🤣. Excellent job
I'm still so mad that the main character didn't even get that much screen time.More attention was played to the secondary and third story line
a 16 minute video on s3 of Bridgerton?! I LOVE YOU♡
YES IT IS HILARIOUSLY DUMB, and I LOVE IT THAT WAY HAHAHAH!!
7:20 FINALLY SOMEONE SEES THIS SCENE THE WAY I SAW IT, ‘CUZ IT WAS NOT SEXC AT ALL
Bridgerton is like reality TV but with historical costumes
This was more entertaining than season 3!😄
THANK YOU omg the hate on Colin itches a certain part in my brain
I thank God every day that I’ve never spent my time on this serie 😂, even here it looks boring
Good call. I've tried giving it a chance and watched the previous seasons; yet was left as entertained as if I watched paint dry for all those hours.
@@baseliacaliga my bff asked me to watch it and said “do it, the s** scenes are really good!” Me not wanting to tell her that are such things as “corn” and they are better than this weird serie 😂😂😂
Thank you for properly capturing the CRINGE. 10/10 edit😩👍🏾
🙏💗💗
The featherington’s (besides pen) were the best part of this season
I don't know why they brought back Francesca in this season, it's so uninteresting they may as well have put her in Benedict's season and we could all skip it lol 😂
francesca and john were soo cute 😭😭 i did feel like this season somehow lacked something, it was alright tho like don’t get me wrong. i’m satisfied with the ending but yea
I haven't watched this one yet but it's on my watch list on Netflix. Seems like fun times according to this video. 😂
