My dad and myself absolutely love this programme and we popped it on for NYD meal and imagine our surprise and delight that one of the subjects from the first espisode is about The Isle Of Man! This is where we are from ❤thank you !
I had to google Simnel cake "Simnel cake is a fruitcake widely eaten in the United Kingdom, Ireland and other countries with patterns of migration from them, associated with Lent and Easter. It is distinguished by layers of almond paste or marzipan, typically one in the middle and one on top, and a set of eleven balls made of the same paste."
Not widely eaten expensive and horrible with traumatic episodes induced by the flavour similarity to the nightmare day that costs a fortune your wedding
Apologies for not liking as many as your wonderful contributions as I have done. I forget a lot of things, but please be assured they’re really appreciated.
I find both Tim Rice and Esther Rantzen unbearably arrogant and dismissive. They make me appreciate Gyles more; at least he's funny and a fount of information.
See I always thought it would be good to do the topic of deviation which might be funny. Also I would love to see them so the alphabet and someone just recites it and someone calls them out on w having the word u in
There’s also definitely an episode where someone did the alphabet thing a few years ago 😁 Sadly I can’t remember which season or person it was, but I’m very certain this was done at least once!
Last week Julian Clary performed remarkably well taking about snakes and ladders . His subject was Liz truss the rest is self explanatory or as Sinatra would say up in April shot down in May..
I struggled with addiction, and during my recovery listening to these videos really helped me.
I’m now 2.5 yrs sober, and loving them more ❤
Thank you sharing these episodes as they came in handy on a work-related 3 hour drive. No commercialruptus.
I have been listening to the old ones and now these. Brilliant people!
Thank you for this post.
It makes a cold and challenging January a happier place.
Look forward to the next series.
+1 this
Don't we all. It's the best radio series ever.
Thank you M J Nicholls from ALL around the world. Please upload more.
Graham norton is my fav after kenneth williams. So funny

I'd rather eat Simnel cake every day that be a party to a marriage.
We've been searching for episodes that we haven't already listened to a dozen times and found your uploads. Thanks so much. We love JAM!
Agree with you. The BBC don't put much out because of copyright, and what they do is pretty expensive.
@Jackie Bereham
Where is this channel please? I’ve tried searching, but have come up with nothing.
@Jackie Bereham I’m in the UK
@Jackie Bereham
Oh, ok. I listen on my phone.
@Jackie Bereham
Ok, I understand. I will look into that. Thanks for the advice.

I looked up Paul's challenge at 2:09:10, and yes, Gyles Brandreth is Honorary President of the Oscar Wilde Society.
Pam is outstanding in this round - I play this game with my friends and I am copying her routine!
More, More, more thank you!
Yes, thankyou so muchhhhh!!!

British celebrities have this cozy ready-made system of shows to be on. They don't have to create their own careers like American celebrities.

I hear what you're saying, Gyles is also a favourite of mine
The problem is Gyles is so incredibly smug that’s what intelligence and confidence does !
Thanks for this. Brilliant beyond words....and damn that was deviation. Still love Gyles, but Pam Ayres she makes me giggle.
I wish she was on more, too.
Good old Nicolas Parsons, very unique indeed...
See I always thought it would be good to do the topic of deviation which might be funny. Also I would love to see them so the alphabet and someone just recites it and someone calls them out on w having the word u in
I think they did do the topic of deviation, in the days when Derek Nimmo and Clement Freud were on.
There’s also definitely an episode where someone did the alphabet thing a few years ago 😁 Sadly I can’t remember which season or person it was, but I’m very certain this was done at least once!

Nish kumar is in this avoid
And jenny Eclair
1:02:12 surprised it took him so long to bring up white people
I'm surprised he gets away with such racist comments where ever he has been given a job😩😴 Double standards.
@@mariacarter6954 Imagine calling Diwali ‘Brown peoples’ Easter’, Kumar would be the first to shout ‘racist’
