😮😮💗💗💖💖Have fun on your adventure Renée! Someday you will look back at what you achieved and smile in complete satisfaction because you did it your way! Blessings.
You make a great point about what other houses are still out there that have been sitting untouched for decades...they are still out there and when you find em it's sooooo AMAZING! Once in a life time experience! I've just had that same experience myself this past summer with an estate and it blows my mind to have this 94 year old woman's complete wardrobe from they late 1930's-the 2010's. I can tell so much about her life just by seeing her clothing. It gives me so much joy! Happy treasure hunting!❤
@@PaperandMoose Well she was born in 1927 so her 30's pieces are from the late 30's when she was just a young teen. She was an only child of a coal miner so grew up poor, you see "the make do and mend" mentality very much so in her 40's wardrobe but she married in the later 40's and boy did her wardrobe improve once she married a rail road man! The history and stories the clothing tells of people's lives is just so fascinating to me.
What fun. You guys do the clean out however you choose. As long as it's done. I wish I was a friend. I'd VOLUNTEER to help with clearing. Just let me have one item I like. And I'd clean like a workhorse lol. It looks sooo fun
I don’t think I would have slept either! It must be like trying to sleep at a friend or relatives house. It takes a few nights to get comfortable. This is an amazing series!
"All you need is to believe in yourself". Great motto on your phone and, believe it or not, even this "behind the scenes" vid is a little piece of artwork. Hope you slept well during this first night in a strangers bed. Great idea, Renée, and well done ! Greets from GER, U.
This is a process that SHOULD be enjoyed. And your friend's tactic of getting the high dollar items is smart, so doing that initial reconnoiter makes sense. When Norway started becoming a more affluent country, homes were left. Kids moved away and not interested in the old furniture or property that was out in the country. 'Barn sales' popped up old antiques were selling from century-old estates for chips.
@@PaperandMoose I'm lucky enough to have a couple. A great aunt and uncle of my son's father had no children and collected some pieces, so my son has inherited them, so they're with us. I still find some amazing stuff at charity shops here. Kind of part of the reason I keep saying, 'I should start a channel.'.
Renee , I am so happy to see that you are following your dreams.......It l,looks like you're having some fun there along with the work..It's great that you and Taco Stacks have such comrade.
Renee I must say that I loved this video so much! Seeing you being you no matter where you are, is refreshing. You remind me so much of my younger self. I love vintage, history and have done a few clean outs in my day and resold vintage treasures. Finding those treasures is the best! I'm so sorry you didn't sleep but at least you are young and the hunt for vintage goodness, I'm sure, excited you awake. Can't wait for the next one.
Imagine how well you’ll “crash” in your own bed once you return home! That will feel sooooo good! Thanks for taking us along on your adventure! It’s fun and a real hoot to watch!🦉📺
Loved the show this morning. I get it. The joy over finding a 40 year old Valentine vs a baseball card worth $ is a no brainer. To think that Valentine was given to someone in love is sweeter ( to me) than making a bunch off something else. Hope that makes sense. P.s., I don't dislike baseball cards. 🙃
I would have been prepared, as you were and I wouldn't have slept well, like you. I never sleep well the first night in a strange place .... ever. I guess I'm not alone in that. Hello Renee. I know how you feel. Sleeping is hard sometimes when your not at home. I’m at my daughters house because we had a winter storm here in Illinois and we still are.
