I genuinely love every single aspect of this video... I love the "Go Handle" reference... I cannot wait to follow Dreamcicle progress and I want a T-shirt... Get the popcorn I'm all in!
FSG KID is perfect, and absolutely do a t shirt for the Kid, I’ll buy one for sure! Congratulations young lady, you’re going to have an awesome truck with Emily and Arron helping you! This is going to be a great build!
The kid is really lucky she has a family that loves her dearly and wants to give her a chance to carve her own path in life most kids never get. My first car @ !7 was a 65 Plymouth Barracuda with a 273 and a 4 speed.
Watching "The Kid" and her interaction with the rest of Y'all, I'm impressed at how mentally quick she is. Good on Ya for bringing the younger folks in. Lets keep this love of old iron alive!
Do t-shirts, caps, stickers, and key chains for the Kid's fundraiser. I always enjoy every episode on your channel, even more when the Kid is in the videos.
I've actually been watching your videos for quite some time but never comment on anything. But this time I had to respond so sweet of you. I have been crying and laughing with joy every now and then
Wow! I've been watching FSG for a long time. I remember "The Kid" when she was just around 4 years old or so. Can't believe she is twelve already. So cool of you guys and Adrian to arrange this for her to be her first project. Had a tear in my eye and was grinning throughout the video after the reveal of it being her truck. Look forward to watching the progress on this when y'all get a chance to work on it.
Dreamsicle.... ready for the shirt. Your niece is growing so fast. She is already planning her schedule to get everything done so she can drive it when she gets her permit..... very motivated. It is so nice how everyone is teaching her and motivating her. The next generation of wrenching experts need that type of loving help and care.
What a fun project. Can't wait to see where it goes. Sounds like the plans are already done but there are so many great options. QA1 makes a suspension upgrade that I've always wanted to try on a truck of that vintage. Oh, and I love the Sure Can's as well. A bit pricy but well worth the investment. Have fun!!! (And great job and shooting and editing Adrian.)
Takes me back to high school when my dad gave me his Chevy Caprice coupe when he bought his 1986 K Blazer. The Caprice needed a lot of work but that’s how I learned to work on cars.
You go, ladies!!! There is no better looking truck by any manufacturer and this particular one looks to be in very re-buildable condition! I have a 70 short box k10 myself, and I would rather drive it than any other vehicle I have in my "fleet." I wish I could get my grandkids as excited to work on and with cars as "the kid" is here! And, Em, You're exactly right when you mentioned that the people watching would be wearing huge smiles as they saw her trade quips without missing a beat! Can't wait to see part 2 on this!!
This show just keeps getting better and better!! Helping raise the next generation of gearheads!! The Kid was running on pure adrenaline the entire time!! Congrats on your first project!!! Can’t wait to see the next episode!
Engineer here…. Best way to create an engineer is to get them involved in a project. The project can be theirs … can be some one else’s, like a race car, can be electronic like a computer…. But learning how things work makes a kid a better adult…. My first at 16 was a 1950 ford F1 flat head
it's crazy that I've been watching yall so long that the Kid has grown up to the point of getting her first truck . Congratulations Kid it's nice to have awesome aunt and uncle . I can tell Aaron loves teach the kid
That's so cool. That 2 tone orange will look amazing if she goes with that idea. It'll great seeing the process of this truck and when she gets to drive it.
Great episode! Awesome to see the kids face when she found out this is her first truck, awesome to see the man behind the editing (Adrian does a great job on these videos) and just awesome to see the kid soaking up all the knowledge she can!
Love that she has a project, infact last video with her helping with the 57 i was thinking it would be awesome for her to have something of her very own, i loved seeing her so happy, you guys are the best aunt and uncle ever!!
Your kid as you call her, what a lovely way to get someone involved in this great life, she is bubbly, and willing to learn, fantastic to see ,great first truck as,well enjoyed the 1st video hope you all have fun learn, cool😂😂
Its so cool that you got your niece the pick up. I had a 1972 GMC that was the orange / white .I wish i had kept it, Your niece is such a hoot and so quick with the come backs. I hope you do repaint the orange and while. cant wait for part 2
Love the kids reaction (the adults too)…absolutely right about getting kids involved young can change the trajectory of one’s life…I grew up on a farm so it was easier for me…my daughter is almost sixteen (May 2024) and we got a her a car that needs a head gasket about a year ago…so in a couple weeks, over her spring break , her and I (and hopefully our 11 YEAR old boy will help) are going to do some thrashing…I have always been around motors and projects but a spine injury about 10 years ago so brought that to an end…I have the knowledge, experience and tools but the physical ability is a challenge…so the kiddos will learn, help and hopefully have some positive Daddy and car memories. …After her car is out of the garage we plan to bring in our 1984 Monte Carlo (got from original owner who is my wife’s uncle and had been sitting in garage for 11 years) that we got the year our daughter was born AS a car that daddy and daughter could go to car shows and tinker with together and say we got it the year daughter was born…unfortunately life and my spine injury got in the way so hoping that now she can help me “tinker” rather than grow up watching me tinker. 🤔…sorry…got long on the comment but you guys rock and I try to comment just to help you with your algorithm AND to help you reach and inspire more people. 🫶🏼
I never comment on videos. But this ones different ! Kid you have the perfect combination of teachers. Your uncle, i like the way he just hands you wrench and says go . Your aunt, well she knows how it feels not to know much , but in the past few years shes helped on a bunch of automobiles . So shes got your back . And the quick wit of your is awesome. So get them hands dirty little girl ❤ Ps never bought a t-shirt off RUclips either. But id definitely get this one . Tks yall for just good clean videos ❤
I have always loved watching your show. The kid is great. You guys are very special people. Stay the way you are. Love VGG as well, so i can relate to all your Derrick comments.
Awesome video and such a great surprise for the kid. The one liners that were flowing throughout were great. Y’all have such a great time together and it was so good to “meet” Adrian. Emily, “We don’t have any orange vehicles in our fleet.” The Kid, “I’ve got one!!!”
Congratulations kiddo how awesome is this! Best thing ever is getting to see is a great kid so happy about an old truck. Also one of the easiest kind to work on as well old Chevys are the best rigs and still doing well 52 years later. A big plus it's got No fancy sensors but they go for a long time with upkeep. Can't wait to see it on the channel. Way to go Aaron and Emily getting the kid in her first vehicle and sharing it with all of us out here in viewervill kudos to all involved! Yes let's get a shirt for the kids build fundraiser for a reliable ride that will take her off to college and life.
Nice!!! This is what dreams are made of 'Dreamsicle's' ... a thought, during the final paint/decal process, Adrian should be included on the truck, which could be its 2nd nickname, the front fenders and tailgate should be decorated with ' ... ish' in honor of the 'Ish' dreamsicle's Adrian returned with. Just a thought ... by far, this episode was a total feel-good. A great way to start the day ... Thanks -- Jerry
Awesome!! I got the idea from the sweet burnout with Betty White on your return with the generic Dreamsicles, (such a thoughtful gesture, kudo's) maybe the 'kid' should design the 'Ish' logo too, just to see where her head is, other than in the clouds from getting the truck. This should be a grand adventure to watch thanks to the personality of all involved. Thanks to all! @@adrianberryhill
At 34:00 when you all started talking Carolina squat I died. I live in Nc and you all nailed it especially with the sideways hat and Aaron doing the lip thing! 🤣 😂 🤣
Emily and Aaron you both are Awesome doing that for your niece and back in 1977 my Stepdad got me a 1965 Cadillac Coupe DeVille and it was not in the world greatest shape the body was pretty bad.
By the way kid, my uncle John taught me how to do mechanic work we work together, taking a transmission out of freightliner. I miss it so bad working with him. He’s he has dementia now.
You guys can do shows for the next 20 years and not top this one. Brought tears to the eye of this 81 year old man afew times in the last hour. Love the kid, she is special. Great to see you two passing on your love for wrenching to the next generation.
This 70 year old man had tears in my eyes when she was given this first project, and loved my Dads 1970 Chevy C20 Camper Special, which he owned until 1988, when he traded I’d for an 88 K3500 single rear axle., I ended up buying the 88 from him in 2013, and it is still running after I sold it to a friend on mine. So Happy for that young lady that I refuse to call the kid😊😊
Best episode I've seen on RUclips in a while. Period, full stop. I am happy for all and what a perfect vehicle to start on! Well deserved and the start of a great hobby.
Yes s tshirst would be great and get the vanity plate now. See if you can pull ip the creamsicle logo. I pulled it up off the internet its so cool ha ha get it.
It brings tears to my eyes when you told her that it's her truck and her first project then she teared up! It was so precious to see how shocked and grateful she was!❤
This makes me smile we have a (part’s bin 68/70/72) c-10 step side that my daughter has helped me with since she could walk!! The day she got her license she has taken it everywhere she loves that little truck.. the kid reminds me of Shelby so much it’s not funny! young ladies like that are a gift from god. Have fun kid and good job u guys she seems so happy
You have got to call Derrick about the interior design of his crew cab, that would look fantastic on this truck and would go great with the kids personally
It's So Great to See Your Niece So Happy. This is how They learn the RIGHT WAY ..Love the Wit of Her ..LOL ..We don't have an Orange truck. Her I DO...LOL😂😂Sweet old C-10..A 4x4 Duramax would be Badass..
Gotta go with what Aron said, 4x4 long bed with diesel. I got one yall would like, 1971 c10 on a silverado 4x4 HD frame with a 5.9 cummins engine in it. It's a Frankenstein truck but love it haha
This ended up in my Suggestion category and almost didn't give it a watch. But glad I did. You have the coolest and best Aunt and Uncle a kid could have. But remember this is your truck and you need to put in the work. Then you can work on it when you start driving and it breaks down. And it will break down because it's a Chevy. Lol Just kidding. But this Deserved a like and a subscribe. I definitely Love family projects and families that work together. You all are awesome.
Great job selecting a first vehicle for this young lady! I'm partial to the 67-72 body style, only thing is I'm disappointed you are going to go the diesel route, she would have an easier time learning on the original small block! But,to each his own I guess!! Good luck.
Great video FSG! Congrats to y'all on this build. The Highway Dept. trucks in Arkansas used to be orange, and you gotta love the inner fenders big enough to sit on.!!
Love seeing this! I knew this day would come. I’ve been waiting to see The KiDD get a project ever since I found this channel. I remember the first time I saw her helping you power wash Roxy feels like 8-9years ago. Now with a little girl of my own I hope for the day she wants to be involved with cars.
I am here to see The Kid and how much she has grown and to see Garfield … love the shoes❤✊🏾👍🏾❤️… I hope she has fun working on this truck . If there is an FSG Kid Hoodie, I want one stat.
Truly inspiring. Can't wait to do for my grand kids what you did for "The Kid"! She is so deserving and appreciative of it all. So awesome to see. And the "new guy" Sorry editor, I forgot your name, but you're a great guy. Not only for offering the truck, but for the parts runs, and ice cream idea. Just awesome! Loved this episode and can't wait for the next. Y'all be safe!
Speaking of Dereck. You know what interior would be perfect for the kids new truck. So if its going to be dream sickle colors outside. Dereck put the orange plaid interior in his crewcab. That truck looks so good
My daughter was 12 almost 13 when we bought her first car. Unfortunately she did’t live to be 14 and drive on her school permit. Enjoy it Kid. You made a stranger cry for sure.
I would have loved to have met you guys while you were in Memphis. I live 15 minutes from there in MS. Really enjoy your content and how laid back you both are. Stay safe.
Congratulations kid you have the world's greatest aunt and uncle !!!!!!!!!!!!
I genuinely love every single aspect of this video... I love the "Go Handle" reference... I cannot wait to follow Dreamcicle progress and I want a T-shirt... Get the popcorn I'm all in!

You guys are not only the coolest and aunt and uncle, but good role models for The Kid.
You Guys are the Best Aunt n Uncle a Kid could have, 17 minutes in and You got an old men in tears..
FSG KID is perfect, and absolutely do a t shirt for the Kid, I’ll buy one for sure! Congratulations young lady, you’re going to have an awesome truck with Emily and Arron helping you! This is going to be a great build!
So stoked for Kid… yes a shirt with Dreamsicle and FSG Kid on it would be sick.
Whatever angle the truck is on the shirt should show that license plate
I need a shirt so please design some for "The Kid" truck. Amazing videos FSG are putting out. ❤🐾🐾🐾♥️
The kid is really lucky she has a family that loves her dearly and wants to give her a chance to carve her own path in life most kids never get.
My first car @ !7 was a 65 Plymouth Barracuda with a 273 and a 4 speed.
I usualy enjoy the videos when the kid participates a litle extra, but.....
This one I LOVED!!! ❣
The look of her face when she realized.... 🤩
I truly believe that you changed the Kids life. Keep being awesome y'all.
This is so cool. Something she will never forget. I had a 70 Chevy in high school I love the old trucks.
Watching "The Kid" and her interaction with the rest of Y'all, I'm impressed at how mentally quick she is. Good on Ya for bringing the younger folks in. Lets keep this love of old iron alive!

Growing up poor has its benefits, it taught me at a young age that if it needed fixing, the best way to do it with yourself
Adrian, you had a big part to do with giving the Kid some pretty special memories. Way to be stand up man. Much respect to you.
it's crazy that I've been watching yall so long that the Kid has grown up to the point of getting her first truck . Congratulations Kid it's nice to have awesome aunt and uncle . I can tell Aaron loves teach the kid

So glade for you. This make you independent young lady in life.
My daughter was 12 almost 13 when we bought her first car. Unfortunately she did’t live to be 14 and drive on her school permit. Enjoy it Kid.
