Ive had a Fake Tree.. I miss the pine smell or the old fashioned BAY candles we used to burn...old Memories. FREDDIE WOULD BE SO IMPRESSED AND FEEL SO COMPLIMENTED. What a great tribute to him and another pure gem for you... And Yes we ALL want to be Free to be who we are. ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE THIS❤❤❤

At the end of last Christmas, I couldn't be bothered taking everything off the tree, so I squished it all up and bagged it. The video scenes are when I first unwrapped it from then - quite a bit worse for wear!

Awesome! I love it! Tempest came in curled up next to me while I was sitting on the couch listening to this video on my phone. Typically when I got music playing on my phone it's too loud for him and he doesn't want to be anywhere curled up next to me but he came and curled up next to me. I started absentmindedly scratching him on the back of the neck to the beat of the song. At one point I stopped and he turned around and looked straight at me like why did you stop mom? So this particular song Not only has my approval but it's the first music anywhere ever played on my phone in Tempest's 5 years of life that he approves of!

I love our fake tree. It's 30 years old, 3 feet tall and gets decorated with 40+ year old glass ornaments from TG&Y's and other ancient bits and bobs. And no cat has ever dared lay a paw on it.
I remember the good old times when we even had real candles. But I think that the technical evolution is not sooo bad. Changing a fuse causes less work than calling the fire brigade.....We bought trees with roots and planted them in the garden. Now these tiny little bushes are 8m high.😁

Spot the inner cat spirit of this wonderful artist with the destruction of decorations on the tree. I mean we had to replace all our baubles in the 70s and with plastic ones just to stop the destruction, the older glass ones went into permanent storage and I still have them and the box they were stored in. They haven't seen the light of day since. Bah, humbug indeed! As for tree wrapping, this was the first time I've done it. Wasn't quite as seamless as I'd hoped, but that's because I unwrapped and tried to set the tree up quickly, due to being on video. I lost a few decorations - smashed!! But the tree looks salvageable now, even though a leg snapped off!

Haha, it really did!! I've fleshed out the branches a little more now, though one leg stand has snapped, so I have it leaning against a stool to keep standing. It'll do for us!
