I have a Limited here in Canada. By the way, mine was built in Woodstock, Ontario...just a bit down the 401 from my home in Waterloo. They also build them even closer...in Cambridge, Ontario. They might start exporting them to the States. And I love the car. I had a 2017 SE, but this one gets much better mileage and is much nicer to drive. I can drop the back seats from the tailgate. You just need to be a little taller I noticed you are averaging 35 mph. You can bump it up to 41 mpg in eco and a little lighter acceleration.
Well, I can’t do much about being taller! A lot of SUVs have a lever in the back to release the seats but it wasn’t that big of a deal to me. I ended up averaging 38mpg when I looked at my notes which is pretty fair for me. I don’t like Eco mode at all but yes, I should probably lighten up on the acceleration ;)

You did a great job on this review. I do a lot of dog rescue so being able to fit crates in the back is a must. I brought 3 crates to the dealer (1 large and 2 mediums) and they let me put them in car. They fit "ok" but I couldn't see out the rear view mirror. The sales lady flipped the switch to the camera mode...and boom...I could see perfectly out the rear of the car. Nice!
The Hybrid XSE trim is the best looking trim but I wish they offered the same options as the Limited trim especially considering a fully loaded XSE & fully loaded limited are basically the same price. There’s a lot of great options only available on the limited, that’s a huge disappointment
Wow..I just discovered you. You are a natural at this. What a great review. I can see you doing reviews on local TV. You need to send a demo reel to local news directors in your area. Having said that, how is the acceleration from a full stop with the Rav4? Also, the Honda Crv has a lot of cabin noise. How does the Rav4 compare? Lastly, I agree, it's a shame that "black" is the only interior color on that trim level. I just subscribed! Good luck.
Just so you know, Toyota replaced entune with Toyota app and it allows you to remote start your vehicle and it shows the exact millage and driver score for Toyota premium insurance
One other quibble. A local TV station did a comparison about how hot a car typically gets sitting in the sun. One was a black exterior with a light color interior vs. a lighter color exterior with a black interior. ( of course you never know how tightly controlled the tests were ). But the result was that the car with the black interior got hotter faster than the other car. I wish there was a choice of interiors. Oh and BTW, I’m waiting for the 2020 plugin version cause I’ve got a roof covered with solar panels. Unfortunately, the dealer had no idea when the plugins were going to become available.
Great job on the review. I have this exact model and love it. I think you covered this car pretty well with all of it's pros and cons. The one thing I would add is regarding the road noise. Coming from a luxury vehicle, the road noise on this car, coupled with the engine noise is something to factor. However, the mpg, appearance and amenities far make up for these minor negatives.
I have to say that I definitely noticed the engine noise. For sure, they could provide more insulation but probably not likely at this price point. For the road noise, though, it has a LOT to do with the tires. If you recently bought it (probably you did and CONGRATS!) you probably won't want to change tires, but when you do, you can definitely factor that in.
@@Allthingsfadra the CX-5 is quieter but does not have a hybrid version, although an engine that sometimes runs like a diesel with gasoline is coming soon. Car & Driver has a good written article comparing the 2019 RAV4 and CX-5, for more about how they drive.
I hope to get this car one day, but in the meantime..a girl can look. I have watched a few reviews and yours mentioned really useful things that no one else did! I would be new to hybrid so your tidbits were invaluable. Thanks!
Also, being in the back seat you can adjust it so it can lay you down a little bit or move your upper body forward. It looks like yours is laid back so you feel smaller? Secondly, your trunk space. The floor can be turned around so it can turn into a resin floor so it doesnt scratch your carpet or if you had any velcro. Also, lol why do you need the wireless charging if your Apple phone is plugged in, its charging already thru the USB.
I understand what you’re saying about the back seat. While it does have an adjustable back, I wanted the entire seat to sit a little higher. Short people will understand exactly what I mean! As for the trunk cover - good to know! I missed that. And finally - here’s what I want. I want NO CORDS! So I want to be able to lay my phone down for wireless charging AND have it connect to Apple CarPlay wirelessly. Instead, I have to plug my phone in for CarPlay at which point it’s charging and I don’t need the wireless charger. See what I mean?
@@Allthingsfadra Ah yes I got you. I dont have an Apple phone to try (Ill probably need to get one now to try Apple play on my Rav) but could you not get Apple Play from your elbow compartment (as it has the USB there as well) and hide your phone if you dont want to see the cord? Because youll have your phone at the screen anyway. As well, the charging pad is only a convenience thing, you can still put other stuff there if you dont have use for it and perhaps your passengers can use it, if you dont! Haha
I traded my Model Y for the Rav4 Prime. People say why I downgraded,? But in actuality I upgraded. The Prime to me beats the Y in every catogry except for faster speed. The prime ride quality is so much better than the Y, cabin noise is quieter too.
@@Allthingsfadra It's fast but not as fast as my previous Model Y. That's the only thing the Y is better at. The Prime is a better built car and rides really smooth.
Hello from Canada. Thank you so much for a great video. I got my first Hybrid last Thursday. It is RAV4 Hybrid LTD. I love it. There is only one issue. The side mirrors are a bit shaky and they rattle when i shut the doors. Have you experienced anything like that with your XSE? I really appreciate if you can get back to me. Thanks again for such a great review. Cheers
@@walaarostom Also, to break in your new Toyota Rav, for your first 1000KM, don't accelerate, brake and turn all of a sudden/abruptly. Your Toyota should last you forever lol
Thank you again for the driving tip for the 1st 1000 KM. I drove the RAV4 almost 400 KM since Thursday and barley the fuel gage moved! It is incredible. Can I ask you if you recommend driving in an ECO mode or leave it on Normal? I drive 140KM a day to work mainly on free ways. Thanks again
@@walaarostom Yeah, drive it in ECO when youre in the city where there are lights and signs. But Normal on the highways/freeways. You can use ECO too but the engine wont work as hard if you prefer to save gas. So it depends on you. I am so happy we own the redesigned Rav. I came from driving a Toyota Tundra and it was so much on gas, so I traded it in. Glad youre enjoying the gas on this hybrid!
Just got mine. Coming from an gas vehicle it is hard to find info describing the charging, EV vs ECO, when and when they won't engage and so forth, but loving it. Thanks for the review.
@@taylorboyd7463 I've been dealing with what seems a fuel tank issue on mine. I cant refuel more than 9.5gal at any pump. So the dealer and toyota have had my vehicle.
TheDarkseid doesn’t change the fact that you can easily find the info you were asking about in the users manual. It will tell you when and why EV engages and it will all make sense.
I just ordered a GXL 2WD Hybrid RAV4 in Australia. There is a 6 month wait. I notice the new RAV4 Prime is soon to be released but it will be 2 years away in Australia and probably cost more with Lithium ion batteries and 90mpg or 3.5 l/100km.
It’s a great car. Super popular here. I just saw the Prime - due out summer 2020 here. Said to be Toyota’s second fastest vehicle after the Supra! You have chosen wisely.
You are right it is a little on the high side, thank god you can get this with just a standard moon roof. In southern California and going to Nevada I hate these panoramic roofs. With this much sun and heat all summer it heats the car up to much, plus to much light in your eyes when driving. We hate the thing on our new Pacifica. Plus you can not open your tilt roof just an inch without having the whole liner open past the tilt part of your moon roof. On my Honda CR-V I can crack the roof open in tilt and slide the cover almost closed to keep the sun out. Would also love the see it without that CVT transmission. Just a nice standard 8 or 9 speed or a double clutch transmission. I think we all hate the loud hum sound it makes when your doing 65 mph. It never falls back in the rpm range because it does not shift like a regular transmission. I do really like the fact that it kept a spare tire not a kit. That's one reason I will not buy the new Honda CR-V 2020 hybrid, because it has lost the spare tire plus no place at all for just a few tools or personal stuff you can put next to or around the spare tire under the floor cover. In the Honda you always need a small box in the back to carry your personal stuff. Plus the RAV4 should be able to have at least a tow capacity of around 3500 lbs like the new Ford Escape. 1500 lbs is just not much of a towing weight. Would be nice to be able to pull a nice small camping trailer for that kinda of price. The new 2021 Prime is nice because of the 302 hp but it has the plug in which will surely raise the price to over the $40k mark beautiful looking car nice 0 to 60 in 5.8 seconds. But they can also put a 2.0L turbo in this one and give you that little extra. I watched the video from another test RUclips group and it failed the Moose test, where the rear end gets kind of out of control going thru the test cones at a higher speed. Otherwise it looks like it passes all the safety test as an A1 rating, memory seats at least 1 would be nice otherwise it is a great looking vehicle. It is amazing how many you see around you already. That's the only bad thing it will be hard to find your car in the parking lot 😉 to many of them around..
Fadra indicated that the premium to get a hybrid was about $2000. Except for the XSE, which does not have an equivalent gas version, the price to get the hybrid version is $800 at all trim levels.
Yes, you are correct. I didn’t have the pricing structure when I did the review but it’s a surprisingly small difference making a hybrid a no-brainer in my book!
A couple of things. First I went to one of the larger Toyota dealers in town. The RAV4 Hybrid is selling so fast that they didn’t even have one on the lot, more coming in the next delivery. The dealer showed me a conventional (non hybrid) 2019 RAV 4. I am your larger than the average guy. I’m 6’2” tall and weigh in at 280. Getting in and out of the driver seat was fine. But the head room was only about an inch and a half. And this was with the seat all the down. This car did not have the sun roof. Every trim level above the base model however comes with the sun/moon roof (whether you want it or not) which steals a bit more headroom.
Brian I guess it depends on where your height comes from. What I’m talking about is the “length” of your torso vs the length of your legs. I have to admit that I did not drive it. As I mentioned, all I wanted to check out was how easily I could in and out. Thanks
She might have talked about mileage since she was reviewing the hybrid. I have a two month old XSE that now has 2,300 miles and the overall mileage is 40.7. On a drive from Portland, Or, where I live, to the coast and back, over the Coast Range, I got 43 mpg, driving mostly highway miles!
Keith Mettie I’m in Portland as well and have been curious about the mileage in our area, especially in the NW hills. Thanks for that! Are you in the hybrid model as well?
@@lizantco Yes, the XSE trim level is a hybrid. I really don't see why anyone would buy a gas only RAV 4 unless they had very specific needs that only a gas model would address. And I am not sure what that would be. I am 68 and this car is my favorite by far. Not only am I getting over 40 mpg ( I live close to Capitol and Barbur) but the RAV 4 hybrid is rated as an SULEV (super ultra low emissions vehicle). The only cars that are comparable are all electric cars like the Tesla and Leaf and some Subarus that have the PZEV rating (partial zero emissions vehicle).
Thanks so much! I’m up in Forest Park and have been weighing out the new Forester Sport bs the RAV4 hybrid but the price points are so different. Hopefully I’ll be able to pick up a lightly used RAV4 next year.
I liked that your beautiful overview of New RAV 4!!! Looks everything excellent interior , but one thing a just can't understand, where is the pocket on the back side of the driver seat?
Thanks Fadra for great review. I drive Honda CRV today and only reason I was excited about RAV 4 was new exterior from 2019 model year. I believe configuration you reviewed is exactly what I would love to buy but $38K is little to much.
Hi Fadra just bumped into this video of yours, I was looking into more in depth testing of the RAV4 Hybrid and the Toyota Camry 2021. I had a testdrive in the Netherlands for 30 min in the RAV and also heared the noices, sounds that you discovered. No one mentioned that in other video's, but you did. I still have the Auris Touring spot hybrid frok Toyota, a very good car but entertainment is very out dated. Toyota needs to improve on that. Did you also did a test on the Camry 2021?
I did test the Camry for 2021 AWD version (see video here ruclips.net/video/ZAWSr5lNi1o/видео.html). If it were up to me, I’d pick the RAV4 hybrid every time.
Nice review! In Puerto Rico you can get the XSE for about $37,500 but none of the extra options that you mentioned at the end of the video are installed. Also it's very difficult to get the XSE now since it is sold out in most of the dealers.
That just shows you what a great package the XSE is! I'm not sure how it is in Puerto Rico but you CAN typically order exactly the vehicle you want. Most dealerships don't want to do it because they want to sell what's on the lot but if I can't find exactly what I'm looking for, I will order a car!
Awesome review, but I wished you would have spent more time on what all the buttons on the steering wheel do. I just purchased a 2020 RAV4 Hybrid. It's Blizzard White Pearl with ALL the options. Some of the buttons are confusing. Like auto brights/dim. How does that even work? Again, great review. I even learned a couple of things!!!
Looking for a reliable AWD with good to commute to work in Northern Iowa. We also purchased a fixer upper vacation/retirement place in Florida so I'm definitely going to see extended winter conditions driving back to Iowa in the winter. MPG is a must with a 2700 mile round trip!
I really like that XSE two tone rocks but I would prefer red or white over the silver which I dislike a lot. Black interior is perfect for me as I don't like light coloured interiors especially beige or tan. I've yet to see an XSE at our local Toyota dealership, they mostly get the LE and Limited.... I've seen a couple XLE which is close to the XSE. Not having Android Auto is a deal breaker for me but I'm not really looking to buy one for another 2 to 4 years from now. I also would always have it in ECO mode so 45 mpg would probably be normal for me & I'm also easy on the gas pedal. I presently drive a Honda Insight which I really like but would prefer driving an AWD hybrid with much higher ground clearance since I'm in way up north in snow country 5 months a year.
Things that annoyed me after owning for 1 week. 1. As a tall individual, that only the LE was available without sunroof; as with a sunroof, I did not have enough headroom. To go along with this, no up or down for the passenger seat which may have allowed us to go with a sunroof equipped model. 2. This is our 6th new car purchase, our 1st Toyota. I have never had a FOMOCO product that had no way to adjust the speed of the intermittent wiper. Is it possible that this would have cost that much to make standard? 3. While I applaud them for the auto dim on the headlights, why not make the auto on/off standard as well - just seems dumb. Again, could making this standard cost them any significant $? Overall, we like the car. We especially like the mpg & the radar cruise control.
If you have the remote connect app, then yes. Some models have remote start from the key fob, you just have to try it to see if your model supports it - Press lock one time, press lock a second time, press and hold lock a third time and see if it starts.
That's a great question, Tim, and I wish I could answer that. I don't think it's something I tested. My experience is that most cars do not stay active after the car turns off . but I don't want to say definitively because Mazda DOES stay active. It's one of the things I love about Mazda! Maybe a RAV4 owner will chime in.
@@Allthingsfadra it wouldn't be a deal breaker but is something I would be concerned with. A lot of times I just want to leave something plugged in to get charged up.
Your review really made me want the XSE Rav4. I want one equipped just like yours except in the Blueprint color. Unfortunately, stock of the XSE at my local dealers is almost non existent right now. A blue one with all the added factory options doesn't exist at any dealer anywhere that I can find. One of my local dealers said they can get one. I signed a deal and paid a deposit but haven't heard a word from them since.
I think I'll end up getting this car, even if coming from the ultra smooth Nissan 3.5L V6, the Toyota engine sounds like a Rough 4. I will enjoy doubling the mpg though.
Love my 3.5 L Nissan too. If the fuel price wasn’t an issue I’d keep the Murano until it died. Too bad Nissan doesn’t make comparable hybrid SUV (rogue hybrids were never offered where I live )
@@jackp2563 Unfortunately the RAV4 hybrid is in short supply in Canada. I was told I may have to wait 6 months for the XSE I wanted. I did plan to keep my Pathfinder forever, even with the higher fuel consumption, but the frame is rusting out even though the engine runs as well as on day 1.
Trespasser How old is your Pathfinder ? My Murano is 8 yrs old and has zero rust. Even though I use it to launch boat in salt water Ps. I test drove RAV4 HV XLE last week and it felt somewhat “cheap”. Wasn’t impressed at all. Sitting on the dance between rav4HV and E Niro Wait time for RAV4 in Vancouver is 3 months E Niro about 2 months.
@@jackp2563 Sure, the Rav 4 is not up to a fair comparison with a Pathfinder or Murano, which are one class above price-wise. But the XSE seems to be a nice package - economical, quite roomy in a tight package and would address the noisy acceleration of the 4 cyl engine to some extent. My Pathfinder is 16 year old and it runs great except for the whole in the frame that cannot be repaired (because, I was told , it's body on frame construction). It's in the area where condensation from the A/C drains. 1998-2003 Nissans, great cars as they were otherwise, were plagued by rust issues, so I believe Nissan took steps that perhaps resulted in later years being much better in that regard.
I noticed that shop prices and many other pricing are represented by the same number as in the US only there is a pound sterling symbol with it instead of $...do the exchange conversion.
And for that $45k the UK customer gets the old Touch 2 nav system without apple carplay, no wireless phone charging or rearview mirror camera... absolute bargain! LOL
I do like the RAV4 and probably will get one very soon. About the wireless Apple Car and Android Auto... yes, they do have that and some cars already have them. It took Toyota awhile just to get the plugin wired Apple Car and Android Auto. If them a couple more years they may have the wireless. I love the birdeyes view option as well but only available in Limited :-(.
The limited also has powered passenger seat, heated rear seats, and ventilated front seats. The door molding on the inside has more leather detailing too. Finally, not having wireless Apple CarPlay is 100% Toyota’s fault. Apple has had CarPlay over Bluetooth ability for some time now. 😘
Just purchased the Rav 4 2019 XLE hybrid in white with the convenience package, blind spot monitoring, heated seats, all weather mats, 8 way driver’s seat. The XSE two tone is nice looking, but I don’t see an extra $10k and those extra bells and whistles are going to depreciate at a much faster rate than a Rav 4 with fewer options.
Remember that this XSE also has the Technology Package, which adds quite a few safety features. And also, the Premium nav/audio system. I personally would get an XSE but all the trims are actually pretty great!
Rose Danna Joseph, No they do not sell Nissan. I purchased a new Rav 4 XLE at a Toyota dealer for 10k less than a new XSE at MSRP. Thrilled. I am averaging 40.8 freeway and city driving and when I drove 26 miles to work today on the freeway I averaged 41 mpg in normal mode and I was driving close to 70 mph the entire 30 minute drive. I don’t see any difference in fuel economy from eco to normal. I don’t ride it hard. I accelerate gradually keeping it below power on the instrument display.
Will B You’re right. I looked through all my pics and video again. I thought it was much darker than it was. Normally I have a detailed spec sheet with all of the color information but that was missing this time!
Just got a limited with Technology Package and it is great, love it so far way better than I expected and pretty quick. I have read some reviews that it is loud inside the cabin and mine is very quiet much quieter than my old BMW X5, my Stinger GT2 AWD, or my wife's 2017 Sienna. The only bad thing is the Nav is terribly old compared to competition.
Australian Toyota dealerships should be rolling out Android auto updates for the Rav4 later this year. Haven't heard anything about other regions getting it yet though.
I went with the XLE Premium, and it’s a shame they don’t offer that trim in a hybrid. 19 inch rims, seat position memory, auto high beams and auto wipers, etc.
I have a 2019Toyota RAV4 but it isn’t a hybrid. It does do this thing when I’m at a traffic light, it cuts off and restarts when I want to proceed. This is apparently a fuel saving(?). I HATE the ENTUNE suite and haven’t figured out how to sync my phone to it. (I’m 72). The Toyota is a nice car, but all the electronic stuff makes me miss my Jeep.... The Toyota does have a good reputation though, so I’ll stick with it.
I’m younger than 72 and still couldn’t figure out Entune! It sounds like you’re talking about the Stop-Start engine. Manufacturers have different names for it but it does shut the engine off when you’re idling for any length of time. Some cars execute it much better than other but mostly auto journalists hate it and turn it off. It IS a feature that you can typically turn off but I haven’t found a way to keep it off.
I usually review the trim level that the manufacturer provides me. Of course they want to provide me one of the nicest trims! From a driving perspective though, the LE and XSE should be roughly the same.
i don't recall you talking about the specs at all....or the driving dynamics for people who are a little more interested in driving for fun (ie, "car people"). This video seems mostly about infotainment & comfort/styling discussion. but then again, this channel is not aimed at such an audience of "car people", so it's understandable. I enjoyed it nonetheless.
You’re right. I don’t go into the specs in my videos. I do sometimes cover it on my blog in a little more detail but I do try to aim these videos mostly at the consumer. Thanks for watching!

T R Well, you know, Tesla got all types of grief when the company wanted to sell directly to customers.
I like the new 2019 RAV4 Hybrid so much that I am about to trade in my 2016 RAV4 Hybrid for the 2019! Great Review!
Huge difference in those models years. I fully support that trade-in!
I hope to get this car one day, but in the meantime..a girl can look. I have watched a few reviews and yours mentioned really useful things that no one else did! I would be new to hybrid so your tidbits were invaluable. Thanks!
Thanks, Stephanie! Hope you get the car of your dreams!
I don’t know if you watch Redline Reviews but he just traded his Tesla for a RAV4 Prime so you’re in good company. And it’s fast!
@@Allthingsfadra It's fast but not as fast as my previous Model Y.
That's the only thing the Y is better at. The Prime is a better built car and rides really smooth.
Great review, thank you for sharing!!
Cheers
Sounds like thats just yours... you should get that checked by your Toyota dealership while its early
Thank you. I did and the dealership is ordering some parts from Toyota.

I’m 6’1” and have a lot of headroom. I actually raise the seat.
Brian I guess it depends on where your height comes from. What I’m talking about is the “length” of your torso vs the length of your legs. I have to admit that I did not drive it. As I mentioned, all I wanted to check out was how easily I could in and out. Thanks
Philip Ershler Most of the height comes from my torso.
I was definitely heavy on the gas pedal and using quite a bit of sport mode. Thanks for sharing your personal experience!
LizGreco let me know what you decided on and why. I am teetering between those two options myself. Leaning towards the XSE right now.
Love the video!
I liked that your beautiful overview of New RAV 4!!! Looks everything excellent interior , but one thing a just can't understand, where is the pocket on the back side of the driver seat?
There isn't one on the back of the drivers seat. it's only on the passenger seat! That is the way it comes on all trim levels of this vehicle.
Great review including so much others have not shared. :) Mine in on a boat right now - on the say from Japan.
At least you know what’s coming! Congrats on your new purchase!
Thanks Fadra for great review. I drive Honda CRV today and only reason I was excited about RAV 4 was new exterior from 2019 model year. I believe configuration you reviewed is exactly what I would love to buy but $38K is little to much.
Yeah, I totally get it. It's a great vehicle but the price is high (although not that high for compact SUVs - they continue to be a growing segment!)
Fadra, great review honest and natural!
Thanks!
I love it, especially that color. Oh yeah.
That two tone is everything!
Is that silver or Grey? 🤔
Yeah nice review...is it the zircon silver?
Nice review! In Puerto Rico you can get the XSE for about $37,500 but none of the extra options that you mentioned at the end of the video are installed. Also it's very difficult to get the XSE now since it is sold out in most of the dealers.
That just shows you what a great package the XSE is! I'm not sure how it is in Puerto Rico but you CAN typically order exactly the vehicle you want. Most dealerships don't want to do it because they want to sell what's on the lot but if I can't find exactly what I'm looking for, I will order a car!
Can’t wait to buy mine. I like your XSE Hybrid trim, but I think the adventure has a better interior
Is there remote engine start on RAV4 2019? Thanks
If you have the remote connect app, then yes. Some models have remote start from the key fob, you just have to try it to see if your model supports it - Press lock one time, press lock a second time, press and hold lock a third time and see if it starts.
I just bought the XSE in white. They are so popular around me that I have to wait up to 2 months to get it though...
It’s because Toyota finally has a good design with some serious style!
@18:03 Android Auto is not supported!!!
You are correct! I falsely made that assumption and found out after the fact that it’s not available on this model yet.
2020's it is available
Are any of the USB ports active all the time or are they only active when you turn on the vehicle?

Nissan makes good cars (I’ve owned a Murano) but Toyota is rocking it in the hybrid SUV space.

How old is your Pathfinder ?
My Murano is 8 yrs old and has zero rust. Even though I use it to launch boat in salt water
Ps. I test drove RAV4 HV XLE last week and it felt somewhat “cheap”. Wasn’t impressed at all.
Sitting on the dance between rav4HV and E Niro
Wait time for RAV4 in Vancouver is 3 months
E Niro about 2 months.
If you think its pricey, here in the UK its equivalent of about $45,000!
Remind me to buy my car ONLY in the U.S. 😳
LOL
And here in Greece this highly equipped black edition costs 47300 euro (53094 us dollars!)

I do like the RAV4 and probably will get one very soon. About the wireless Apple Car and Android Auto... yes, they do have that and some cars already have them. It took Toyota awhile just to get the plugin wired Apple Car and Android Auto. If them a couple more years they may have the wireless. I hear you on buying used but sometimes you can get some great incentives or financing packages on new.

Yes!!!! Hybrid SUVs have come a long way and this one is definitely worth it.

@@ricome169 same here.
Australian Toyota dealerships should be rolling out Android auto updates for the Rav4 later this year. Haven't heard anything about other regions getting it yet though.
Shouldn't be hard to add it through a software update but doubt they'll do it. Deal breaker for me as well.
The engine shutoff is for pollution control, not fuel savings.
how about the sound in highway?? sone said they quite a noise in high speed
I noticed the noise of the engine but not so much the noise outside of the vehicle.
I agree that the list price is on the high side. Toyota should make the high end audio system available at an extra cost in all trim levels.
