I have all the fragrances in the Y line and the EDP is the only one that has a black dot atomizer. All the others(eau fraiche, edt, live, edp intense, le parfum) have white dot atomizer. Weird
So, last week, I bought YSL Y EDP 100ml at a really cheap price and a YSL Y EDP 1ml sample from another store. The sample smells really different from the 100ml one. But when I watched your video, the 100ml packaging and everything looks the same as the real one. The projection and longevity also have a big difference.
Saw this video pop up and had to run to double check my bottle and package to make sure I got the real deal...I owed mine for over a year but your vid freak me out hehehe. BTW, this is very good content, and for fragrance collectors like myself you are doing God's work dude. Don't stop doing them, that I won't stop watching. Great content.

Also guys, as a general rule, notice the perfume oil after applying it on your skin, around drydown. If the skin looks oily as heck, chances are, it's not fake. 🙂🙂 Fakes usually have really watered down juice in them so this oily skin effect won't be noticable there 😁

My bottle that I got today has the white dot. This is a 60ml bottle though that I have. Everything looks legit apart from that so maybe the different size bottles have different atomisers which would make sense since the bottle are physically different sizes.

Everything on my ysl looks great exept the fact the atomizer is white instead of black, instead of the barcode on the side of the box its a qr code and the back of the box is slightly diffrent and the barcode is there, the batch code checks out its 7 months 15 days old and the barcode says france when scanned, im sure its real im just confused at those slight differences
Video is now outdated. They have caught on. I just got a fake with all the "real" details. Only thing different was there was a stamp at the back of the box below the ingredients that said, "INTERDITA A LA VENTE -NOT FOR SALE PROHIBIDA SU VENTA." Everything else was according to the "real" version as shown in the video. Look out and be safe!
I bought a tester and it says Eau de parfum on the front which I thought was because it was a tester but I search it up and only see one other person with the same thing, the bottle checks all the boxes and it smells the same as in store but idk

Como identificar perfume Yves Saint Laurent Y falso
Os cheiros são muito parecidos, mas o falso não persiste por mais de 30 minutos.
O perfume Yves Saint Laurent Y original custa 100 euros, o preço do perfume ysl y falso está entre 30 - 60 euros.
As faces das caixas são idênticas, praticamente não dá para saber o que é falso ou real.
O verso das caixas é diferente, a caixa original do perfume Yves Saint Laurent Y mostra os ingredientes abaixo, em comparação com os falsos que são apresentados na parte superior.
Ambas as caixas possuem o número de série, mas o peso é diferente... veja no vídeo.
O vidro difere um pouco apenas na cor, o original é mais escuro para preto, comparado ao falso que é escurecido para azul.
No verso do vidro somos presenteados com a letra Y, o perfume falso apresenta espaços livres entre a letra e os frascos, comparado ao original que está perfeitamente alinhado com o vidro... veja no vídeo.
O botão possui um bico branco para o falso, em comparação com o original que tem a cor preta.
Por fora, a capa original difere da falsa pela logomarca da empresa, a logo original está perfeitamente alinhada, se comparada à falsa que apresenta imperfeições no final das letras (original - pontiagudo, falso - quadrado).
O interior da tampa também deve ter logo da empresa, o original é limpo, tudo alinhado, comparado ao falso que tem material extra e não está definido. Você nunca verá tal erro em uma marca tão grande.
A etiqueta no fundo do vidro original deve ser de cor índigo e de formato redondo, em comparação com o falso que é hexagonal de cor transparente.
O número de série no fundo do frasco deve ser idêntico ao número de série no fundo da caixa, se isso não for cumprido, você se depara com um perfume ysly falso.

yes it is… it is a brand too big to make such mistakes… fakes are of several types… fit the glass and the lid you will realize

This is brilliant really good. I just have 1 question from any of you. Everything looks like the original on my from the packaging to the bottle to the stickers to the shape & design of it. But just one question on my cap it's not black nor white but like a see through colour?? Any thoughts
u don't have to worry, it is original if it respects all the safety elements... the color differs depending on the year of manufacture

Mine looks exactly the same as the real one except for 2 things lol.
1. the plastic nozzle is white in color
2. the circle sticker at the bottom is clear/transparent color instead of dark blue.

How to spot fake Yves Saint Laurent Y perfume
The smells are very similar, but the fake does not persist for more than 30 minutes.
The original Yves Saint Laurent Y perfume costs 100 euros, the price of the fake ysl y perfume is between 30 - 60 euros.
The faces of the boxes are identical, you can practically not tell which is fake or real.
The back of the boxes differs, the original Yves Saint Laurent Y perfume box shows the ingredients below, compared to the fake ones that are presented at the top.
Both boxes have the serial number, but the weight is different ... see in the video.
The glass differs a little only in color, the original one is darker to black, compared to the fake one which is darkened to blue.
On the back glass we are presented with the letter Y, the fake perfume shows free spaces between the letter and the bottles, compared to the original one which is perfectly aligned with the glass ... see in the video.
The push button has a white nozzle for the fake one, compared to the original one which has a black color.

Everything on my ysl looks great exept the fact the atomizer is white instead of black, instead of the barcode on the side of the box its a qr code and the back of the box is slightly diffrent and the barcode is there, the batch code checks out its 7 months 15 days old and the barcode says france when scanned, im sure its real im just confused at those slight differences

Video is now outdated. They have caught on. I just got a fake with all the "real" details. Only thing different was there was a stamp at the back of the box below the ingredients that said, "INTERDITA A LA VENTE -NOT FOR SALE PROHIBIDA SU VENTA." Everything else was according to the "real" version as shown in the video. Look out and be safe!

@@FakeCipI appreciate it man I figured out I got a real one. So hey man have you heard of the brand ARMAF. I’m very confused on the brand because on the ARMAF website this certain cologne goes for $125 but I’ve seen it range from 25-80$, Amazon sells it for $25 so is Amazon a fake?
