Cessna 182 G1000 First Flight - Tooradin Approach 14 December 2014

This is my Approach into Tooradin with Allen, my first lesson in a Cessna 182. Struggling with the CSU procedures - Pitch up, Power Up, Power down, Pitch down. And finding everything in real time on the glass.
Great plane (VH-DDS) and fun learning something new.

Great work Mark nice too see you trying a new plane. Did something similar myself many years ago with a minor difference i went 172 to 210; now thats a heavy bird the first time you fly it 2 up, but great fun and super stable

Hello Mark, have you ever flown the 182 since these vids ?? As i understand it, they are quite nose heavy and a bit difficult to land for that reason

No I didn’t continue with the C182. Yes, they have a reputation for prop strikes due to the amount of weight up front.
