@@psycless I mean, if Rudy dies and those are one of the last words he ever told his daughter they may not be that silly in the context of that scene. Still it doesn't necessarily have to be something that Noelle says when she dies, but I do think it's a good idea for that line to come back in the story eventually

That final boss idea also works really well with the "only one ending" and "your choices don't matter" theme, and it is such a huge plot twist, and toby fox mentioned he was inspired by a "Ending to a game" he dreamed about and i can see that!
This is honestly the most realistic and interesting version of this I've seen from anyone
Noelles's death at the end was so fricking funny, but also sad.
I really like the "throwing shit at the wall" type theories and predictions. It's such a fun win-win scenario where you either somehow get things right and feel like a genius, or you write some cool fan fiction. No matter what happens, you win

toby said the idea of the game came to him after he had a dream where he witnessed the ending to it, i wouldn't be surprised if this ending is actually what he saw
this is a tangent but i feel like for the dark worlds = escapism/entertainment narrative to work, noelle needs to fail to bring back Rudy NO MATTER WHAT (assuming that she attempts to open a fountain to save him, of course). like, noelle failing to save him is a sign that you can't use escapism to run from reality; you need to face the real world and learn to cope with the bad situations in life instead of retreating into fantasies where everything is okay.
also, im not a huge fan of the idea that dess is already dead. don't get me wrong, i see the reasoning. it's fairly solid. i just think toby setting up the "Find Her" thing in the Spamton Sweepstakes would be strange if we never actually found her. it COULD be a subversion or red herring, but imo it would feel pretty hollow.

I find it interesting how people in game theory’s comment section thinks that “the player fights kris” is some kind of wild prediction, meanwhile we inside of the community have already had theories like that (this video as an example) and nobody ever saw it as that much crack.
(Reminder that that one interaction on Reddit wasn’t me saying the theory was unlikely but rather that I hope that it isn’t true because of personal preferences)

I think lord of the hammers will be the lanser/berdly of the chapter and the main big bad of the chapter will be a pope or priest of sort being a religious book or my favorite idea I've heard is it being a 90's "hip with the kids" sort of character

I like a lot of the ideas here, but I think there's a big issue with this video - there being no mention of Asriel, who seems like he's being set up for a major role in the endgame.
Your right I forgot to talk about Asriel, the thing is I don't think Asriel is going to derail the plot I think he is going to show up and then slide into the plot. And I also just feel like its hard to predict what Asriel is going to do in the story. that being said here are my Asriel Predictions.
-Asriel is going to show up at sometime in-between the start of chapter 4 and the beginning of chapter 6
-Asriel is going to be wearing a Yoshi graphic Tee and a flannel
- When Asriel comes home he's going to look at Kris and say "what's with the face Kris, don't you recognize me, it's me your best friend, Asriel Dreemurr."
-He's going to have a funny moment with Susie
-He's going to have a funny moment with Ralsei
-If he's going to be involved in a dark world it will be the chapter 6 one, he might serve as a exposition dump if he knows about what happened with Dess in the bunker
I think if my Theory about Kris Is right then they are probably timing things out to align with when Asriel comes home, maybe because they need Asriel for something.
@@blackchestnut I've always just sort of taken it as a given that Asriel won't be appearing until Chapter 7, where he'll be tied to some major reveal - the fact that one of the first things we learn is that Asriel will be visiting next week and there being exactly 7 chapters seemed to imply that to me, and I suppose I'm also thinking in Undertale parallels since in that game he's not fully unveiled until the very end (of Pacifist) and drops some big bombshell twists - but more and more I've been reconsidering that position, especially after sans tells you that you won't hang out with Papyrus until Asriel gets back. I agree it's really hard to make any concrete predictions about what his role in the story is.
What do you think Asriel's connection to Ralsei might be? I know you think that Ralsei is basically Kris's fursona but do you think there's any deeper connection beyond Kris basing him partially on their brother? Does Asriel know anything about the Dark Worlds? Will Asriel become a major fixture of the plot from his (re-)introduction, or just a side-character who's maybe heavily involved in one of the Chapters? Or is all of this, like you said, too hard to predict at this point 😵💫
I honestly don't think there's any real major connection between Ralsei and Asriel. I think its very possible that Asriel knows about the dark worlds, and I think that Asriel is going be a side character (the only characters I think are main characters are Kris, Susie, Ralsei, and Noelle).
And then Noel said “maybe the real deltarune were the friends we made along the way”
Definetly playing with some cool ideas here, but personally i believe the featival will have a bigger importance, and most things that you said after ch5 don't make that much sense in my opinion. I also think some of your ideas could be cool to have, like fighting the party or some variation at some point will definetly happen, and we will most likely learn way more about gaster, and i think there will be a chapter based around the concept of there being multiple layers to the world, with the darkness getting stronger the further down we go, which would explain why every darkner can exist in castle town, since that fountain is made of pure darkness.

Do I think this is what will happen? No. Is this the most plausible prediction I've seen, at least when it comes to the message and the general spirit of the game? Yes.
* Just for RUclips clout I'm gonna put my own theories here
* Chapter 3: Main boss is Tenna, they're a TV host and use aspects of the rook chess piece, preventing the party from continuing beyond certain points without risk of capture. Secret boss is Mike, the star of a cowboy TV show that got cancelled, he uses the green SOUL mode.
* Chapter 4: Themed around the church and literature, main boss is a bishop and is often around the party but can only directly fight them on certain paths. Secret boss uses the purple SOUL mode (note that in Undertale, the purple SOUL uses a torn notebook) and is some sort of cancelled novel or maybe Gerson's old writing utensil (either quill or typewriter or something), Rudy probably dies in this chapter
* Chapter 5: Knight Papyrus!! (yes I'm a knight Papyrus believer I'm sorryyyy), he's often aware to the party but of their reach, the dark world is themed around his action figures and is probably in ICE-E's restaurant. Secret boss is an old ICE-E mascot or perhaps ICE-E himself as the store has barely any customers, and uses the dark blue SOUL mode
* Chapter 6: Bunker time!! Main boss is Kris, they finally fully resist our control and we have to commandeer the vessel and fight Kris and the rest of the party, with them acting as a chess pawn. Gaster is involved in the plot and is manipulating both us and Kris and also maybe Papyrus if he's still involved, I imagine he could also be the secret boss and probably uses the orange SOUL mode, if not him then Dess is the secret boss - also I think this dark world is probably based around music, Gaster's theme is one of the main things everyone points out for him and we know Kris played the piano
* Chapter 7: Either Kris, Gaster or Papyrus opens a fountain in the festival and its themed (surprisingly) around the festival. We end the game by destroying the three titans, which also destroys each of our SAVE files and our files reset before we can witness the ending. Seam is probably the secret boss here, using the light blue SOUL mode

my theory is that each chapter will build up to The Roaring. Chapter 1 began the journey, Chapter 2 revealed The Roaring, Chapter 3 will probably do nothing involving the story already since Toby said this chapter won't be story-heavy, Chapter 4 will possibly begin the build-up to The Roaring, Chapter 5 will reveal The Knight, if not Chapter 6, Chapter 6 will end with The Roaring finally happening, and Chapter 7 will have the main characters defeating The Titans and sealing the Dark Fountains. however they might also have to seal the Dark Fountain in Castle Town as well, putting an end to the Dark Worlds forever and erasing Ralsei and all of the others darkeners from existence.

Not some bad ideas but ultimately you didn't explain the UT-DR connection (which is fair, it's weird and you have to come up with walls of schizo stuff to make things fit. Like how the fuck can someone explain the DR Legend symbol appearing in undertale, for fuck sake toby). My only guess is that Sans is ultimately connected to the main plot and regardless of the specifics gets yeeted into UT's world.

Hey random thoughts in my head that i need to say
1 imagine if gaster is ICE-E
2 imagine if ralsei betrays kris at the end of the game
3 imagine if Kris covers the world in darkness
4 imagine if river person is a taxi driver in delta rune
So does that mean that Chapter 5 is not gonna happen in normal playthroughs or is Kris gonna make the Dark World for Noelle in the regular playthrough
chapter 5 happens the same way in both routes I just think that Rudy lives if you did snowgrave because Noelle's magic will be strong enough to heal him
the final boss is a bit of a stretch but everything else fitted so well.

as for the door in Asgore's flower shop I think it might come in to play in a light world segment I don't think the flower shop is going to be a dark world unless we end up getting more then 7 chapters.

Two other possible secret bosses that I've not seen anyone else mention are both from Kris' house. One being the flowers that Toriel threw away, becoming flowey (or an equivalent, if it's not *the* flowey from undertale) and the other being what's on Asriel's computer, turning into a version of undertale's pacifist ending boss.
The former is because we literally had a secret boss in the previous chapter who lives [IN A GOD DAMN GARBAGE CAN!?] I don't think Toby would do that again one chapter later. I think the flowers are most likely going to be a miniboss in a similar vein to Tasque Manager and K Round where they just kind of show up out of nowhere, don't really contribute much to the narrative, but become a fan favorite nonetheless. I've seen a LOT of people bring this up as an option and it never makes any sense to me how people could think that.
The thing on Ariel's computer could be it but I have my reservations that the dark world could stretch the second floor of the Dreamurr residence.
That said I don't think the secret boss will be Mike either, from how Spamton talks about Mike I'm pretty sure Mike is either dead or at best a supporting NPC like Lancer.
My personal theory is the secret boss will be a Radio Host of some type since TV killed Radio.
i feel like the reality of undertale may be incorparated as the idea of "Suzy" was refferenced and said that "u are going to meet her soon" by clamgirl, i can only imagine both the realtities being connected knowing Toby😃,but again who knows?🤷♂🤷♂

I think this is a very edgy ending no offense, but toby would not do a ending that tragic
honestly if the wizard boss becomes real and if toby has the guts to get va’s for the characters gianni would be a great person for that considering they’ve watched all the other secret bosses fail and now knowing rudy’s death finally gives them a chance at freedom (considering dark worlds possibly exist before dark fountain creation which might just serve as a gateway) and gabriel basically being the final messenger for god in ultrakill (which i think the secret boss’s elements will be Ice/Holy so yah) would make actual sense tbh also he’s cool af so i wouldn’t be surprised if toby hired him

It just doesn't make sense that Deltarune's entire story would revolve around an Undertale character so minor, that you need good RNG just to hear about him. Especially since so far, Undertale's cast have only amounted to cameos.
My realistic theory about Gaster is that the bunker is just a completely normal power station, and he's the one who maintains it.
Imagine if Gaster appears at the end of Deltarune after the entire game builds up to him being the final boss.. he turns to the camera and says "it's pronounced 'Jaster'" and then leaves.
the thing is deltarune was conceptualized before undertale. gaster was a minor character probably because toby wanted to tease him for "that other game."
i agree with you he's not important to undertale's story, but this is different and it genuinely seems like he'll be significant to deltarune's story.

I like your video on the surface but that jaru comment sounds like you're bashing him for literally no reason at all. Not cool.
I'm not bashing him I'm just making a comment about how my theory is similar to his and that he will likely boast about getting darkener Gerson right, I even say that we would have to give it to him because the prediction was somewhat right.
If anything I'm being nice to him by saying his idea has some merit even if I don't agree with his full interpretation, which is a lot nicer then what most people have to say about his theory's.
And theres just no way for me to mention Darkener Gerson without at least mentioning Jaru's theory, it would be like ignoring the elephant in the room, if I didn't.
