I took what I planned to be a 3 week break from social media 3 years ago, when I suffered a burnout, but didn't go back. I realized it was draining the life out of me, and was also highly addictive. RUclips is my only exception these days, as it's easier to be more focused, I have more control (usually!!! 😬) and can set timers. I'm glad as I can follow your channel!😊 Thanks for your point about sleep, yes it's very important, as a night owl I need to get better at managing this...
Yes, I think social media is something I'm always going to have to keep an eye on. In the past, it's been too easy for me to slip back into spending too long on it!
I stopped answering my phone outside certain times so I could focus on the tasks that I needed to actually get done. This stopped me from being derailed constantly by people who were just time wasters.
I really like your bedding. So pretty! I appreciated your tips, especially about not comparing ourselves with others and handling perfectionistic tendencies. One thing that's helped me lately when I have been feeling some burn out has been to go to bed a bit earlier and get up earlier in morn. This has helped me to have adequate time to get ready for work and a relaxing breakfast when I write in my journal, and then leave for work in plenty of time to drive scenic routes to work. I used to rush to work, going the fastest way. Now I choose between different pretty routes to work, and it's restful for my soul. I've also started walking half an hour after work and on weekends. That has improved my mental health and my sleep. 😊Sue
Thanks so much for sharing what works for you! I also like to be up earlier and have more time to get ready so I'm not just rushing around. Going for a walk after work is a good idea too. I tend to only walk at the weekends really, but perhaps I should do that to get some mental downtime 😊

Sounds like it worked really well!
@@ThisEditedLife I'm still fine tuning it sometimes I fall into old habits but definitely helpful overall!
