Really nice car max! I’ve always went for the new old car approach and so far has served me well .Enjoy it 👍 176 Scotland 🏴
Yes, Well happy with it. Alot of car for the money. Cheers
Its a fine car Max. When you look at all that soft touch and wood on ALL of the doors inc the backs. Nowadays in cars costing £40k + you still find plenty of very hard plastics.
I didn't know what to expect. Like I said I was never in one. Driven plenty Jags but not an X-Type. Very Pleasantly surprised. Thanks Fred
Lovely review, thanks. I have the same car, same colour, just mine's a manual. Bought it in LAS Palmas
I adore my Jag!
So is your's diesel/Front wheel drive? or which model? LHD or RHD? I love mine too. Such a good nice car. Cheers
you bought a very very clean luxurious machine Max, it looks like new, perfect color combination, really beautiful, enjoy it!
Over 3yrs research. Aye, nailed it I think...still getting to know it. Cheers
Never knew the window trick with the remote, thanks!
I have discovered alot of other stuff since too, especially once I eventually read the (huge) manual!! Cheers
Tganks max .
Very informative and well executed ..
Very nice car .
Ypur research certainly paid off .
Thanks for watching and your comment. The JAG still going well. Cheers
@@MaxMountainWorld hi max .
What sirt of mpg do you commonly get ?
Ive seen one in an auction .
2006 awd model .
Same engine in thinking of buying .?
@@andrewbeaumont1140 On a trip on motorways/autoroutes up to 30mpg. but unfortunately around here in the mountains can be down to half that, especially on snow. She is a bit gutsy in all fairness and on average around 22-23mpg hence one reason why I kept the Saxo. All the 2.5 & 3.0 V6's were AWD. Good luck. Cheers
Hi max, looks very good 👍,,sounds nice,,,Christmas 🎄has come early 😀,,,till the next round, 73 from Rotterdam 👍
Late birthday prezzy!
Can't wait!
Great video Max and a beautiful car has all the bells and whistles happy motoring🚗🎉👍

X-type is more of a car than the majority of modern cars
Its a JAG, A Good One! Cheers

Hi, congratulations, great car. I have had mine almost two years now and still love every second with it. I would love to see pix and any other stuff (not here in the comments, maybe you can post to your channel or via FB/Messenger). Is it a "weekender" like mine? I also have a Citroen Saxo as a "daily". Nice one, thanks for your Comment here
Daily driver. A blast to drive on hwy.
@@jamessmallwood8488 Nice, X-Type is a lovely cruiser.
I own 1 of 4 in my county..per DMV... getting hard pressed to find one these days..ether very few survived or people not wanting to part with them, but did find out that in 2005 only 1500 were inported from England to USA..haven't seen other 3 around billings Montana cept mine and another one that previous owner had as a doner vehicle... kicker is gold one I have has 184 thou miles n still ticking, got it for 2000$
Hi Max! nice talk through. I've just bought a 2004 3 litre V6 sportwagon. After a full service and replacing front discs and pads, it felt bumpy and hard on the road, so i replaced the shocks and put new Pirelliis on it, but it still feels a "hard" drive. My mechanic, who is a man to be trusted, says the rear springs are okay, and the Macphersons are probably okay as well. Just wondered if you noticed yours as feeling as though it could use a bit more cushion over the bumps. On the motorway, it sits very nicely and makes no noise...
I have no experience of this, it is silky smooth on whatever. I wonder what your mileage is? Mine was 109k.km/68k.mls and I have put on about 1 k.km/month so far. It came on a brand new set of winter tyres (on the "option" 17" wheels). There's nothing on anything like that in its history too. Good luck and thanks for your Comment here. Cheers
Love the car Max very nice.
I am well chuffed. Thanks James
The stick on the roof in the back is the AM/FM-Antenna, the GPS-Antenna sits right in front of the sunroof below the roof (velcro-mounted to the headliner). I know because I've just put new fabric on the sagging headliner.
There is no sunroof
@@MaxMountainWorld In front of where a sunroof would be. :)
@@FordGranada75 Yes, sussed that. Many thanks. Cheers
Nice car Max. Do you prefer an automatic transmission over manual?
In my lazy old age, yes! Alot easier mountain driving. Less maintenance issues. Cheers
Nice one . Happy motoring . Cyril 29mvb01
Thanks Cyril. Cheers
Nice car!!!
Thanks
These are superb cars, massively underrated and unfairly ignored. What out for rot in the sills. Stand out from the eurobox mediocrity.
Thanks for that inc the good advice. Cheers
verry nice car,i real wild cat lol,
All purring, All growling, yes. Cheers
