As a Canadian former player/coach, and long time supporter of Women's Football, I can't help making a comparison to a young Christine Sinclair, our pride and joy! I am a little envious of Alessia and her teammates because their federation has somehow become a great supporter of the Women's game! it is reflected in the development and fan support! Kudos Alessia and Lionesses!

Our amazing female squad has been successful for years! Canada Women have been up there with the top 5 for years, and all they get is heart aches from those idiots that run the show! Why? 2 reasons: Incompetence and undeserved favouritism towards the men's team!
