From the grand opening music that set us on our journey in cinematic "Old West" history to meet all the musical themes,so emotionally deft, that were employed throughout the film. A score that takes its place among the very best from Hollywood - and that's saying something!
My family had this album in the mid-1960s, and as a kid I listened to it over and over, imagining the scenes from the movie. One of those soundtracks that stands by itself but emphasizes the emotional scenes in the movie for us.
