2 CoBRA Personnel Killed In Chhattisgarh After Maoist-Planted IED Hit Their Truck
ent in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district, two paramilitary personnel were killed when Maoists detonated a truck using an improvised explosive device (IED). The soldiers belonged to the CRPF's elite anti-Maoist unit, CoBRA, and were conducting a road-opening patrol with a truck and motorcycle when the attack took place. CoBRA commandos, patrolling from Silger camp towards Tekalgudem under Jagargunda police station limits, were targeted in the deadly ambush. Police have since deployed additional forces to the area to intensify efforts in locating and apprehending the Maoist perpetrators responsible for the attack.
