    I served in the Air Force as Security Police, I had to be in the base hospital as a patient only once, the staff was wonderful and took care of me!! I had lots of fun during my enlistment reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant before being discharged at 6 years of service. It is what you make of it, there will be bad days as with any other job, but then there will days you are on top of the world, mine was shaking the hand of then President Jimmy Carter in 1980!

      Melissa S, Our Health Professions (HP) careers require specific bachelor/masters/PhD degrees and licenses/certifications, are US citizens and experience to apply. Which means you must already have these specific requirements to apply.
      You need to be qualified before you can start any process. To apply here are the basic qualifications to be a Nurse in the Air Force:
      - You must be a US citizen; be in your senior year or a graduate of an institution accredited by the National League for Nursing or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and recognized by the Air Force Surgeon General for a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Nursing (BSN or BAN)

    By 2025 CRNAs will need a doctorate DNP or DNAP, will HPSP cover this too?

    • @EMboss513
      @EMboss513 8 месяцев назад +1

      us military has its own CRNA program with Baylor University. and you don't need a DNAP unless you are going to graduate by that time. Otherwise, as of now you are grandfathered in.
