Currently a nursing student at SDSU and MSIII in my ROTC program going to advanced camp this summer. Can’t wait to work with people and learn more about myself for my nursing career and beyond!
If you are passionate about it, you can get a job with the army as a nurse and a civilian. On base most clinics are staffed primarily with civilian nurses and PAs. Not everyone who serves wears green or blue. Also, if you are a medical professional anywhere serving anyone, you are someone who serves.
@@IkeShippsame here. Studying to be a vocational nurse right now as a civilian. I dont want to be tied down to working with the elderly and nursing homes so I'm currently looking for something different in the military. Was wondering if I'm qualified to do anything for the military as a vocational nurse
As a CNA, i feel very passionate on becoming a Nurse. Alot of these Military sites say you have to have an advanced degree to become a Nurse in the Military. But what are the opportunities to go for LPN? Then eventually an RN? What path can i take if i were to join the military?
They won't show the 90% of the time you're doing nothing or stupid power points about Trans rights and shit like that. The army has really fallen in the last decade
As a former 66H8A after 9/11 we have a level of PTSD no one understands. We cared for young boys from Iraq and Afghanistan with the most devastating injuries. This vid is so misleading. My PTSD is off and on for now over 25yrs.
Man Reservist Army Nurses are getting kicked out of the army. Seems like they are over strength. Some have deployed and held command positions. I strongly suggest avoid any Nursing positions in the army

Join the Army it’s an amazing field for Nurses you’ll find more purpose in it while surviving your country and travel the world
I know I can't be a soldier, because of my disease. But I want to be a nurse and help these people who fight for freedom. ❤

I love how much it mirrors the civilian sector.
Thank you Army 🪖 TJ
Do we have to wear those hot uniforms? We can’t wear army camouflage scrubs?

For lpn youi would enlist and take the ASVAB to qualify for the mos 68c which is a lpn and the training is 1 year long
@@lifewithnarlahi I will have my LPN soon, can I still enlist?
My parents are telling me to look into career choices/paths 😭😭😭 I’m 13 idk 🤷♀️
Great...how is the training like being a nurse? Boot camp?
Im nurses Malaysia army, happy nurses day
I want to be a nurse. maybe not an army nurse. . . but I do wish to go into the profession.
I don’t want to see all the pretty stuff. Show me what an 18 month deployment as an army nurse in a combat zone looks like.

Treat the trainees like dumpster water. Just rub some ibuprofen on it lmao
Yep. The army doesn't care about you. You're just a number to them.

nurse = medic
Incorrect
All RNs are commissioned officers, and their scope of care is far above a medic
Don't join the army!!
Why not
Yes. Why not? Why do you act like a child? "MAMA DONT DO THIS WAAAAAAAAAAA"
Give me reasons why I should. I can garentee neither of you would join up anyway so stay keyboard warriors 😘
