I can recommend “A New Spin on Color” by Alanna Wilcox. It was published in 2017 and available on kindle unlimited as well. I’m a beginner in spinning and really enjoying this book! Thanks or your video Becca. I have so much to learn!

Great advice thanks. I’m new to mixing colours in fibres and tend just to go by what looks right. I will definitely trying using a more purposeful approach in future.

This was so helpful to me. I do ok with working with fabric colors, but had a harder time visualizing how the fibers would look once spun up, and then of course the knitting changes how it looks again. I think I understand better now after seeing it on the blending board.

I’m sorry Andrew doesn’t like the red, I thought it just added some lovely balanced interest. Oh, well, his socks, he gets to choose.
It’s been so humid here (we’re having the old “once in 2,000 years flood” again, and the forecast is for more rain over the weekend), that my spinning wheel isn’t really working properly. The damp is also stuffing my memory card in my computer, so that’s not working either.
