- Escooters and CRAZY Hill Climb Claims - I Test SEVEN (300w to 1000w) ( including iSinwheel GT2 iScooter iX4 & Bogist C1 Pro )
Why do Electric Scooter manufacturers have to make ridiculous claims when it comes to hill climbing? Now most of the escooters I test in this video are great but they are no where near as good at hill climbing as the manufacturers would have us believe!
I tested seven electric scooters including the
iScooter ix4, Bogist C1 Pro, iSinwheel GT2, iScooter i9, iScooter i9 Max, Antwi H10 and Aovo Ooktek V8 by taking to my usual hill climb location.
Let's see if any of these e-scooters can actually make it up the hill!
Check out the channel for reviews of each of these e-scooters, look for the escooter playlist.

How are you getting on with hills on your escooter?
You changed the controller for the GT2, they didn't give you the right one. Normally GT2 can go up to 45 km/h.
@oidamohaelanaisa6923 it went the same speed before i changed it too. A LOT of people have said they're only getting about 22 from their gt2.
i have dual motor so all good lol , but i do have a iscooter ix5 and that is more powerful tha the ix4 and has more range i paid 450.00 pounds on amazon 3 years ago love that scooter will never get nrid of it have lent it too someone too use so they can learn scooter so far they love using it they cant wait too get dual motor and get around.
but when using the ix5 she can do hills but not big serious ones i dint have no issues unless i go too just a few areas in my town i can go far out and not worry range is great too this day battery way strong
Some of the companies should be sued for disinformation!!!😢😮!!!
I am waiting for my bogist c1 pro to come in the mail. Glad to see it past your test.
What's up with some scooters advertising a certain max speed, but it goes 3 mi less than that speed. And the only way to get that Max speed is to lift it up in the air and hit the acelerater. The Hiboy has been one of the cheap scooters that actually goes the speed that advertises no matter your weight. I own a Hiboy S2 Pro, a i scooter i9 max, and the Cunfon Rz800. The Cunfon is a beast but again max is 31mph and it only tops at 28 mph.
"How about goverment just give people cheap and easy way of transportation for the people instead of finding a way to earn on it under the guise of "safety"
It means that a lot of people driving those things are fat fucks, that act like an anchor for those scooters.
At last a well documented hill climb test without ridiculous % claims (often as ridiculous as the manufacturer claims!). Any chance of testing more mainstream scooters like the Ninebot F2 Pro ?
You have the IScooter IX4 older version 2022. The newer 2023 has moore power. The info you show is for the 2023 model
I have the ISinwheel GT2 - it's very disappointing. It creeps to the top speed if you have a long flat or downhill section, but struggles on any kind of slope and dies quickly on hills. I have been passed on much smaller and even rental scooters that seem to maintain momentum going uphill much better.
It's a bit embarrassing when it looks so beasty. It's like an 80s american v8 😂
My first scooter was a “hurdle motorgear “ 350 watts. Climbed small hills painfully slow (6-9mph). Second scooter is the evercross H5 800 watts. Better, but still slow. Now I have the Nanrobot lightning dual 800 watt motors (1600 watts). On the same routes that I take, doesn’t even lose 1mph on the same hills.
Glad I canceled my order and went with a different scooter
I have a isinwheel gt2 and it works just fine goes up the hill with ease
How much do you weigh?
Hi would you test the inmotion climber on that hill do a video?
Rider weight matters, and noone ever says what the ridder weight is?
the bogist c1 pro really has a 25A (battery side) controller, which means about 1200W at 48V
Hey e-VRC Can you do a review on the vakole co20??
Hey guys, I am currently looking at the S9Max by iScooter. I think it also goes by i9 Max. Will this be able to get me up hills? (90KG)
Also looking at Ninebot KickScooter E2 PRO E
⚡ *Very frustratin when a PEV slows down a lot even on a small incline* 😱⚡
My mate's escooter crawls to walkin speed at tiny hills.
Absolutely. Esk8s smash it though. I'd love to get a more powerful esk8 up the hill. I should try my eucs at some point.
Yeah, you need dual motors or at least a 1200 watt single motor
@@e-VRC sometimes people think wattage is everythin but you often see lower wattage motor boards outperformin higher wattage, in the real world it's kinda meh. What really matters is how much power the ESC supplies and with boards the gear ratio etc.
@@eBoard3R absolutely! I've noticed a lot of esk8 motors are rated insanely high but you know that's not the power that's getting to them.
Wattage is one thing...the continually proved torque is the key imo...a zero 9 climbs up at 10% slope with 105-110 kg's(~230 lbs) at 10 mph...
did you unlock full power on the ix4 before trying? or limited power?
Unlocked.
Was the gt2 on full speed mode when you tried to ride that hill? Just trying to decide between the iscooter ix4 or ix6, on paper the ix6 is more powerful but this shows the opposite and it seems like the ix4 is more bang for the buck...
It was strange honestly bc i have the gt2 and where i live i go up a hill where as i full throttle the speed goes from 28mph all the way down to 15 mph, but it never once has failed my or slowed down anything less than 15 mph, and the hill is pretty steep, i could imagine it going more slower if the hill is steeper but i cant imagine it going slower than 12 mph. Keep in mind tho i weigh 150 lbs so that could be the difference there, and of course the weather and your battery life will impact this
how heavy are you though? i got the i9 and it crushes uphills fine, 20% and i can go 15kmph, im about 150 pounds ish
Yeah I'm about 70lbs heavier than you. All manufacturer claims are for very light people. However this hill is not 20%, 20% is very steep. This hill is big but only about 12%. I really don't see the i9 going up a 20% hill at 15.
Have ever tried an ix5 upgraded version? Would love to see how it does as stated 800w and up to 35% 😅😂
Just got an inmotion climber, i'm 265 lbs, threw my daughter on it (50lbs) and we have been all over town. Pulls hills no problem. Its the best hill climbing scooter out there.
no its not mine does 35mph on hills of 45 gradient , da fuq you talking ??
Europeans and their damm lies ...............
That’s not bad for 750 watts! Plus it has an IP6 water rating.
Just started watching your videos they a good , especially seeing as you ride around the road's I use on a regular basis. I may give my 365 pro 2 a go up sandy lane .
Thanks! Yeah give it a go. The start point is the beginning of the drop kerb outside the allotments if you time it 👍
Wouldn't be any good me timing it I'm a different weight to you and from the look of it taller , so a lot more wind resistance at the mighty speed of 16 mph 😉
@andyward8336 just if you were interested to know your time 👍
I live up a very steep hill in Hastings, it's probably close to 50 degrees at some parts. My tynee Stinger with 6000w goes up it pretty well but does almost struggle at some parts. Can you recommend a scooter for my wife that will go up this hill? I am confused about wattage, as there's no 6000w scooter I can find LOL - Something slim and discrete would be good.
Check out a WolfGT. It's a beast. I meet one in my last escooter review.
At what speed did you do the tests?
I have the GT2 and mine goes up bigger and longer slopes at a lot more speed.
Does yours have limited speed?
Started from 0 at the foot of the hill so not much of a run up to gain momentum.
@@e-VRC Sorry, I was asking at what level of assistance did you make the test?
Did you unlock the scooter for 45Km/h in assistance level 3 (quickly press the M button 3 times after turning on the scooter)?
@terranoxsi oh yeah max level. Mine has only ever gone about 25mph although the gps on my test said 22.
@@e-VRC Well I guess I got lucky then.
I also only hit 28 MPH going downhill but mine goes uphill pretty well.
@terranoxsi tbh I've never had a '28mph claimed' scooter actually go that fast. It mught be worth checking yours with gps. Unless you'd rather not know 😂
This is why I dont buy e scooters offline. I go to the shop and ask for a test drive. (In my area and country it is free) This way I know the speed. If you can reach 55km youll get up most hills.
Try the kukirin G2max
What speed modes were you using? Are are of the models dual motor?
All hub motors and top speed modes used
@@e-VRC are they single or dual motors though?
@@emilsecker7881 these are all single
@@e-VRCwhat’s the gradient of the hill?
I was going to buy the Gt2 but didn't because of your video thanks very very very very much 🙂
No problem. I haven't heard from iscooter since 😬😬 shame because they have some scooters I like.
@@e-VRC bought a kukirin g2max instead thanks again, you saved me months of frustration 💆🏿♂️
Which e-skateboard would you recommend for me, narrow it down to 3 please 1k usd is my budget. Something flexy a bit and long range, I just want to get out there. This is urgent before I make rookie purchase mistake.
edit: I'll be riding on paved roads only.
You want street wheels or all terrain or something in between?
@@e-VRC I believe street wheels or something in between, like I said, I'm a novice(just starting out) but, I learn fast so, I usually don't get starter kit stuff as I tend to outgrow them pretty quickly. Something midrange quality and pricewise will, I don't need the Bently of e-boards.
That's funny I have a isinwheel gt2 and a it's a beast and where I live theirs a lot of hills and strong hills.
I have the aovo pro and its good uphills to be fair👌
How much do you weight. And I think these companies base that hill climb on nobody on it LOL. I'm about 220lbs. But I won't be doing hill climbs where I will be taking it.
I think you're right! 😂 I'm about 100kgs
Is engwe s6 electric scooter any good? Thanks!
Not tried it.
I will be getting the new ix3 from I scooter
very weird: i got an average kugo m4 pro and i do 27kmh uphill on an average 14degree for about 1km with a max slope of 17 degree at some points doing it easy. 20kmh max when super cold (for honesty)
How heavy are you? Maybe i just stress these scooters out 😂
@@e-VRChe probably misleading degreess with % 🤭
Meanwhile on the weakest EUC available with 800W motor, I can cruise up at 20+km/hr without much effort
I have a ninebot one s2. I should try that.
question is what is the model and brand name, some brands put a much lower rating on it than it actually does just to not provoke laws
whats the top speed of the ones that DNF?
Top speed achieved or top speed they can go on the flat?
top speed on the flat
I have kukirin m5 pro and the top speed and max incline actually in real life is more than the manifacturer advertise
@@Albert-Azis there's a few brands that undersell. Not many but a few and I applaud that.
You need two motors for climbing hills.
You not even using full speed
15% hill aint enough tho.
luuks very torquey
Isn't that illegal? (Sadly)
Ya riding scooters is illegal
SOME scooters are illegal depending on the state you live in, the top speed of the scooter, the maximum wattage and the current laws in effect. As long as we ride responsibility (stay on the shoulder if available, wear a helmet, obey traffic rules, etc), we won’t draw heat to them.
Ix4 is a good scooter had it for 2 years now
I wanted i9 max but now thinking about ix4 because of the hills problem
Worth the extra money?
i got the ix5
@@smoxesss I have a wolf warrior now
@@h_survivalist3876 I will upgrade when have more money fastest I have is the P1+ goes 45mph
Hello my friend, great videos and thank for all the information that you give. Is it possible I can contact you because I would like to ask you some things about ADO A20F
No problem. Sure 👍
@@e-VRC Can you give me your email, because I can't find it in the description and the only social media platform that I have is linkedin
i wonder if those crazy dual 1000w motor scooters could manage it.
If they really were then yeah with ease. Probably in about 40 seconds.
@@e-VRC the solar FF 2.0 can do 50mph and is like 5kw peak power so that thing would power up your hill test easily.
@@JudeTheRUclipsPoopersubscribe oh yeah definitely.
@@e-VRC on a sidenote please try get one for review. Everybody's reaction to trying out the launch mode is really funny because it shoots off up to 30mph in almost no time.
easy👌🏻
