Ok Matt haha that “ sink topper “ is like a drain board for your clean dishes. Coffee mugs a couple plates ect; I like them plus a cutting board. Wish you had option for king bed but I love love love the floor plan and love that huge dinette this is for a family. When I think of these trailers I think of lakes and travel for family.
One thing I can say about Forest River trailers is the fact that they put in the compressor fridge that is so much bigger and if it has to be replaced, is so much less expensive. Love the colors and the versalounge, the kitchen, and the living area as a whole. Don't really like the bathroom (no storage for linens, towels, etc...) the bedroom is a little sparse, but as a whole, a pretty nice unit. Thanks again for another great video.
Thank you Will for saying there is not enough storage because I was thinking that too. I like the colors and dinette and bathroom door for outside. Thank you Matt and Will! See you soon!
So, that awkward step had to of been added to make passing through from the front door entry to the rear when the slide is in. I have the 2020 and it doesn’t have that awkward step area and I have to walk across the couch to get to the back which I just go though the back door. As for storage for kids there are bins that store under the bunk area. Lot more room than ya think and we are a family of 4. We love our rig!! Nice review!!
Matt and Will another great review! Will, hey buddy...uh...crack kills!!! OK...glad I got that out of the way Not much to dislike. It is a basic TT but, really great features! Food inside... clothed in the storage outside. A bit more work/planning but when you are picking up an entry level and learning the ropes..
Nice review Matt and Wil! I liked the outdoor kitchen, electric stabilizing jacks, and the black tank flush. I disliked the curtain for bunks, bathroom, and the lack of storage. Have a great evening! Keep up the great work!
Hello, I like the kitchen, window in the bedroom is nice, I like the dinette. Not enough storage, good pantry though. Shower is to small, don't like plastic toilet. Great review Matt and Will!👍
Your review was so entertaining. You guys are hilarious. That call, text, email, FaceTime had me dying of laughter. I just put a deposit on one of these today.
You can put an arm on the tv and turn it towards the couch. Do you think the bunks are necessary for structure? Could they be removed so I can use the space as an office instead? Thanks!
Entry level travel trailer with a fire place?! What?! Likes Fire 3 seater sofa Big fridge (and an outdoor fridge) Microwave AND oven Versalounge! Game changer! DIslikes Not sure if the storage units are uniquely keyed but if they aren’t that’s one of my dislikes Bottom bunk didn’t have a window Plastic toilet
I’d like to see more than just bunk houses and 5th wheels. How about TT’s for couples or even singles. Not everyone has kids when traveling and not everyone wants a 5th wheel. IMHO.
Pam Eaves I’d love to see smaller class C’s. Again, not everyone is traveling with kids. There are a lot of couples who don’t need all the bunks abs hoopla even with a class c or just a TT.
versa lounge is awesome, price point awesome, Being 6' 2" I always am curious if the main bed is a reg queen or a camper queen from a sleeping comfort perspective. Great trailer though, definitely on the list.
Three things I dislike are...the bunks I would be claustrophobic I need windows, need sink covers, and lack of storage. Three things I like are...the pulls to dump the tanks-yea I can see them, the unique dinette and the outdoor kitchen.
Likes: 3 way access to front storage, the dinette works as part of couch too, the color scheme has enough light parts to not be claustrophobic; dunno about those valences tho, lol. Will got the "you can call..." part right this time too 😉. Dislikes: Deal breaker is ceiling height, needs at least 6" more, imo; no sink or h2o hookups in outside kitchen, though is a nice size griddle; water hookups in rear might be problematic when campsite source towards middle of parking pad.
You should look at a full size Wildwood like the Wildwood 29VBUD. The full size wild Wood has a better TV viewing angle and an actual bunkhouse that's its own room. It also has better insulation on the underbelly. Another thing that you miss out on when you upgrade to those power stabilizing jacks is that you don't have the strong arm support bars that help add even more stabilization to the stabilizing jacks. You also missed that there's a shoe storage area underneath the totes that are underneath the master bed. speaking of storage there's tons of storage underneath the dinette and couch that could be used for people sleeping in the bunks. Just the five totes is over 20 cubic feet of storage, and there would be room for putting another two more totes underneath the dinette seats plus a third extra one underneath the bottom part of the "U" because that's open. Another thing about the compressor fridge is that it can be running while RV is in travel.
I prefer 5th wheel trailers. They’re more stable going down the road. Even with weight distribution bars I’ve seen ppl white knuckling it from the bumper pulls swaying like crazy. Although, there are lots of really nice affordable tt out there for sure. Forest River makes rv’s for the average working class. One down side about forest river is that they do put plastic toilets in many of their units. (Price point I guess)
This is an amazing looking towable by Forest River with cool features Edit: Is there any storage under the bottom bunk? Dislikes: 1) I wish the awning went all the way to the end to cover both doors 2) The TV position is hard to see from the whole couch, I can live with this given how much space you do have, especially with the versa-lounge design 💗💗 3) the whole design is amazing, why would you ruin it with a plastic toilet seat. Womp womp Love: 1) having the outdoor kitchen under the awning and a door straight to bathroom incase you are dirty 2) having easy access to the power cord and grey / black drain. I wish almost wish it was 50 amp prepped 2 ACs, I live in the south 3) lots of cabinets in the main area and the kitchen is an awesome layout
I really like the layout. I love the dinette versatility. And the outside door to the bathroom. I don't like the batteries on the outside being exposed. They are expensive and people will steal them. Id rather take away the the ladder and have storage underneath the bunk and I'd rather have a larger window than a long skinny one in the bedroom.
The 4 things I like about this travel trailer: 1. a door for the bedroom 2. an exterior door for the bathroom and an outside kitchen 3. high-end features on a price point travel trailer: power tongue jack, electric stabilizing jacks, and black tank flush 4. the u-shaped dinette and versa lounge The 4 things I don't like about this travel trailer: 1. TV placement 2. two legs on the dinette table, I prefer one leg, combo that with the step up on the slide 3. I wish there was a window for the bottom bunk 4. lack of storage
I love your channels. I've learned so much about RVs. It's the retirement dream. I think you and Will should develop your own shtick different from what you have with Andrea. It's unfair to compare him to your wife. Lol. He's got great knowledge and gives the taller people perspective. I think there's so much opportunity there.
3 Likes: 1: Spacious bathroom with private exterior door 2: Power tongue jack and stabilizing jacks 3: Versa-lounge is a cool idea, and I like the storage bins underneath 3 Dislikes: 1: Upholstery looks out of place in this travel trailer 2: TV viewing angle is terrible 3: Not enough closet space for guests
This is a good price point for that trailer. I've lived full time in a 30 foot Salem, built in 1994, and it was a good strong, light trailer, so I love Salem brand. It's light enough to be able to be pulled by most V8s, even after you put your stuff in it. I like the outside kitchen, the vinyl in the slide out (I hate carpet in those areas), I like the big bathroom, the overall layout with the big kitchen, I like the colors (not quite "European") and I do really like that versa dinette. I think the plastic bin hideaway storage is amazing, so I don't agree with Will (sorry Will). He's right though, I don't see having 8 people in this trailer. Though a family of 4 would work very well in this layout. The 1800 lb of cargo capacity (I looked it up online) would keep 9 people from sleeping in this camper. You can't have 9 people AND all things that go with 9 people. Things I don't like are hard to find. The usual complaint I have is, the AC only cools the main area, so if you're in the bedroom, you'll have to leave the door open to get cool air, which leads me to that idea maybe this should have been 50 amp, with an option to have a 2nd AC. I'm from Florida, I always want a 2nd AC. Small things that are fixable, would be to have a convection oven, I never really need the gas oven. I'd upgrade to an always hot water heater (if available). I've spent plenty of time in a camper, and a 6 gallon water heater is good enough to wash dishes, or take a 3 minute shower, occasionally. Oh, and small last thing, would have preferred a window for the bottom bunk. This is a nice camper for this price.
Likes 1 power tongue jack & stabilizers 2 separate/private bedroom 3 big window in kitchen Dislikes 1 step in slide 2 power cord, pushing back into the hole sucks.... 3 steps to bathroom door

1, Dislike bathroom too far away from master not my floorplan. 2, Too many windows for long term cold or -0 winter weather. 3, no washer & Dryer hook-ups inside. PS: sales point, It's not used or called a toper, Matt, it's used with sprayer as a rinse & drain rack used over the sink for cups, glasses, and silverware, etc. when washing or cleaning your vegetables. Plus I wish you would mention also if fire place is gas or elect BTU'S or wattage of heat. Sorry guys no thumps up, the sales soap cleans better with Andrea.
