In my opinion the new Heavy strike should not be underestimated. It is now much comfier to play thanks to it losing knockback and thanks to heavy damage multiplier, stuns are more reliable.
@@ronarray Having built in 39% double damage, on tree 5% and helmet enchantment of 12% gives 56% double damage chance. Need to test it on a character but it is very promising. For clear boneshatter is better for built in shockwave and alt quality glacial hammer has its own crit stuff going for it.

it should. depending on the previous added dmg effectiveness, it is basically double-triple the previous damage. Cyclone has 1.88 times more damage just from effectiveness change (less AS kinda compensates, still was able to have around 10 attacks per second with Atziris Disfavour).

They really need to take another look at Rage Vortex. It needs to consume at least 50% Rage to be usable imo. Right now, you really only use it with ambush to trigger crit effects.
You missed the entire buff to rage vortex...... 5% more dmg per rage consumed -> 10% more damage per rage consumed, this roughly equates to 20-40% more damage. On top of rage itself being a more multiplier now.....
Rage vortex has really strange damage calculation. Some parts of the damage calculation are snapshotted when you attack, so it's a bit unclear how much damage you will do when you are scaling the new rage, but also sacrificing it.
Yes, Boneshatter did get 35% more damage effectiveness which is not even equal to 35% more damage because of the built in flat damage. While weapons do get stronger with the Quality change Boneshatter lost like 32% imcreased attack speed from Rage, 30% more attack speed from Ancestral Protector and 20% more attack speed from Berserk which is a lot worse for Boneshatter as less attack speed means less Trauma which also means less damage. I actually think rather than being one of the most buffed skills I'd say it's pretty much the most nerfed one.
I hate that take. U only take the things that are gone into account amidst massive reworks. If from the get go you assume you dont spec into rage or banners at all then ofc you gonna lose out... GGG had to balance it out somehow lol But seeing how powerful those become after some investment, i'm sure there will be plenty of builds to prove you totally wrong 😂
@@Oathiel I'm not saying Bonezone is dead. It's just that for Boneshatter losing the Totems means about 60%less dps. The Rage rework is a dps loss. Berserk is a massive dps loss on Bosses. @8:46 LS got straight up nerfed...again..the buff they added is not enough for the lose of the totems and the flat dmg on the gem..its a net negative..thats wat Melee needs..more nerfs..
Just a heads up: when discussing buffs, we are necessarily comparing new numbers to existing old numbers. Therefore, it is inappropriate to list the changes as a flat figure. Instead, you need to list the % change of the new figures relative to the old figures. Any flat increase (e.g. "x skill received 200% increased damage effectiveness") is misleading with respect to the change in power of the skill.
Well, you can see both numbers - old one and new one on the screen for every skill. So you can compare Old figures against new ones just fine but thanks for the heads up, next time I will try to pronounce that part as well. Cheers!
Well, number wise Damage effectiveness increased even if overall skill will perform little worse. Not really pushing for boneshatter tho - I even never added it to my final list of biggest winners. Boneshatter: Now has a Mana cost of 9 at gem level 1, scaling up to 12 at gem level 20 (previously 5 at all gem levels). No longer has +0.2 metres to Melee Strike Range. Can totally understand that - I think for low investment or SSF Raider 100% has the vibe. Let's hope Warden will be good at least for some elemental skills. Cheers!
There was never flat damage on the cleave of rage
Yeah exactly, so it wasn't removed and skill lost nothing. I think I just put it into words in a little confusing manner, sorry.
what is the skill name in the beggining of video? i m too noob to recognize it
cleave
It is from my cleave starter from there - ruclips.net/video/g2tVycCcUYU/видео.html
How about Lightning Strike in 3.25 ?
Very strong option after the fix, will be pretty popular.
I predict melee won't be that much better and ranged still will be the best damage
Ranged stay's strong to be honest but Melee will be MUCH closer to it especially with some particular skills.
Ranged should be more, but they in turn should be squishy as fuck and melee should have a ton more armor and take more hits and have more life, GGG has that part of the balance really fucked up lol and it sucks
Well, at least they are trying to improve it so we can hope.
do we expect cyclone with shockwave to be good ?
100% Yes, it was playable before and now it is buffed.
Probs looking to play Reave but even after so many years I have no idea how to make a half decent build haha
Bem detalhado o vídeo, com certeza irei me inscrever
Thank you very much my Brazilian friend!
slams 3.25 cost 60 mana per slam
what do you mean flat 0:39?
I mean flat damage, not the cost itself - I think you misunderstood me, sorry.
@8:46 LS got straight up nerfed...again..the buff they added is not enough for the lose of the totems and the flat dmg on the gem..its a net negative..thats wat Melee needs..more nerfs..
They updated it, its 456% now.
Check out the pinned comment, they changed numbers and now the Buff is pretty big.
Yeah, I added that to the pinned comment too, just filmed before GGG update unfortunately.
if yuo are melee skill lover how do you not like blade flurry, it is realy good skill to play if you know how to use it
Last time I played Flurry been about 8 leagues ago so I decided not to include it since I'm not sure how it performs now. Cheers!
Static strike?
Interesting but too niche I think.
@@ronarray ah ok. I thought it a melee also and why wasn’t present on the list.
what about D's Touch?
I think it goes right down D's stairs!
Where ground slam 😠
I decided not to add any Slams to the list since it is already quite big, they are 100% strong and viable. Cheers!
Cheers!
What about Spectral Shield?
Strong option but not melee or melee related so it is not on the list.
I want 2h cleave of rage :x
Would be really awesome tbh, will see what kind of buffs we can get at 1h rares tho.
how about earthshatter?
Decent option but I decided not to include slams in there. Cheers!
@@ronarray thanks!
Noone talking about earthshatter?
There are no Slams in the list since I decided not to add them.
No Ground Slam?
Decided not to add the slams in there since had almost 20 skills already, some of them will be pretty buffed for sure.
The animations in this game... 😂🛌🍺
Especially with higher attack speed it looks so broken that it is fun just to look at that
@@ronarray indeed 🍺🦦
It's time for PoE2! The animations in the shown footage looked soo smooth!
@@wurzelbert84wucher5 indeed 👌🔥
ty boss
Thank you for the support man!
all i hear are the mouseclick in the background
Well, I need to click at least sometimes xD
Flick to win!
I approve this message!
0/10
Did not mention Tectonic slam, Ground slam, Vaal ground slam, Earthquake, Earthshattter.
#SlamLife
I skipped slams in that video entirely since the list got big already, they are 100% powerful now - sorry my slam bro.
Video muito detalhado e a traducao em português ficou top +1 inscrito
Reave of refraction slayer max block. With t1 rare and unique craft from rikaitas dance revertes resistance gg. If that's how it works, lol 😂😂
Literally no one cares about Consecrated Path ;_; the one thing I want to play
Well, it is a very niche skill but it looks alright to me, not overbuffed or anything.
How wrong was this video about lighting strike.! 😂😂😂😂 Most popular build ever for 5 consecutive months
It was BEFORE ggg changed numbers on LS, they announced very small buff but changed it about 2 days before release and the video was done before that.
Remember guys, flicker strike can't use multistrike support anymore
Flicker is not a Travel skill - Multistrike can still be used.
@@ronarray doesn't I count? Wow, ty for the info
Nope, we are still can use it which is great news!
@@ronarray hmmm maybe is time to play flicker. Maybe a bleed version but Im still learning about the game so not sure if would be a good idea xd
@@PapitoWason Not a bad idea for sure, just keep in mind that some stuff going to be expensive.
splitting steel is literally not melee btw
Well, I talk about it in the video - it is 100% not melee but still buffed in the whole bunch so I decided to include it haha
Don't get baited! boneshatter was actually nerfed by around 4% (not taking into account weapon changes! pure dmg effectiveness)
Now has 231% Effectiveness of Base and Added Damage at gem level 1 (previously 200%), scaling up to 338% at gem level 20 (previously 250%).
@@ronarray not really, after some math, net change of damage effectiveness will be lower by 4% compared to last league (boneshatter + totems)
It does not change the fact that weapon changes will make it stronger
@@Darqunian Well, pure effectiveness on the skill is buffed, I talked about totems and their effect in the video and can agree that some of the skills including boneshatter can receive almost no buff or even nerf if we will have totems with panopticon in mind. Cheers!
What about slams
bruh, closed caption ain't helping.
pretty sorry for it, is there any particular word / moment you have issue with? I will be glad to improve it (Swedish / French accent).
I understood him just fine, skill issue (nah lets just be honest, you a racist)
But... but... I'm white and lived in Sweden.... What's happening xD
F in chat for me and all the other flicker enjoyers.. Removed Multistrike support for Flicker.. Not gonna be playable anymore to the fullest, only pretty much viable for CoC variants or other use cases that dont use multistrike
All they did was reword Multistrike to express it doesn't work with travel skills, Flicker Strike is unchanged.
We can still use Flicker and Multistrike together - Flicker is not Travel skill.
Byziorker
Love my Berserker indeed xD
First
Thank you for the support man! Hope it will help you to chose - more League Starter videos coming soon
Tbh, the POE nerfs are kinda pointless.
1. PVP is non-existent.
2. PVP is non-existent.
3. PVP is non-existent.
If they do something like someone could invade someone elses mapping, then it makes sense.
Well, it is mostly about keeping the whole Season approach to PvE entertaining for everybody and to motivate people to paly different skills.
The information in this video is at best incomplete, and at worst, complete bs. All you're doing is comparing numbers, without taking in account overall changes, such as rage, berserk, totems, banners and aura changes.
Well dude I provide you with numbers, animations and Ascendancy info so you can decide the rest for yourself... it is not a build video but more of a general guide that should help you to choose a skill before searching for build videos. Cheers!
i don't understand any word you say wtf
You have a subtitles for such cases but it is strange, most people understand it just fine as you can see.
