The best comment I saw was that Nico and Kevin look like two dads dancing in their daughters tik tok video
Nico and Kevin said that EC were 'concerned' about bringing in the Fu - Fu's to BM. Obviously the helmets, gloves, disco balls of various sizes and at times David is playing a heavy disco beat..they were interested in bringing in that vocal bit reminiscent of disco times. But they weren't sure how BM would respond. They then learned more about Japanese music culture and found out that those vocals are a staple in Japanese karaoke and they absolutely wanted them in there. And I love how they use it after the bridge (during the third chorus) where they use it between harsh lines. They also said that they hadn't planned on a third chorus but BM pushed for it. I love how the last chorus evolves/builds. Masterful writing all around. Solid reaction man and that sucks that you missed Download even if EC did as well.

On different days. Abd Babymetals Slot was shortened due to Bad Werther. They played it 2 times at Foxfest, 4 times at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park ( in the Electric Callboy and Babymetal Slots. Both Babds have slightly tuned notes for this song. Babymezal plays this song in every setlist. They also played in Spain together but i have forgotten where else they had the oportunities for electric Callboys. They had multiple Kingskayers with Bring me the Horizont and they met Tim and Scott on Belgium again with Brand New Day.

It's unfortunate you couldn't go to see them live at Download Festival and also one of EC singers was iil, luckily all of them were fine to finish BM live shows in Spain.

This single reached Number 1 best selling single in the US Billboard rock/metal chart for the first time for both bands!
If you see comments talking about how cool was one of the singers turning around at the end, that's a reference to a video reaction they did last week. But the one who really looks cool are oc the ladies striking a pose near the end which is also the pose they used when performing live right from the beginning.💃
Last weekend of May they played this song at FOX_FEST Festival in Japan along with Electric Callboy, everyone went bonkers with this awesome collab of the year and hit of this summer. They also released the official live if you don't wanna stop and keep pushing it to the limit.
They also played together once again at Rock Im Park in Germany twice, one during EC show and the other one during BM show wearing cool new outfits. After that they played again at Rock Am Ring and we already got cool proshot clips.
Last weekend they finished the Europe Tour and once again with both groups playing this song twice at Resurrection Fest in Spain making everyone going wild.
Polyphia were also at FOX_FEST playing a set and the guitarists Tim Henson and Scott Le Page played together with BM the song Brand New Day, they're special guest in the album version, they were looking for this since a very long time ago and also fans waited for this. We already got an official live MV released recently if you wanna check that out.
Next July 4th is MoaMetal's birthday so in case you didn't you can come back and enjoy any of these suggestions to honor her b'day if you want:

0:42 amazing, because Babymetal show had a bunch of songs cut because of the weather, that's 2.25 out of 3 things (no you, no EC and only partial BM and they did perform the song by themselves) failed !

Great reaction - well done for waiting. Download was a bit of a disaster all round with the weather interrupting BABYMETAL's set half way into the second song (ironically it was Distortion and "Can't stop the power" was the last line before the power was cut and they had to leave the stage).
They came back out after the storm passed and only had time for 3 more songs.

And good job avoiding it until now. Yeah, Download was a disaster with EC not being able to perform and BABYMETAL getting cut during the first minute of their second song, resuming the set later but getting it cut short. They finally managed to perform "RATATATA", without EC tho.
I experienced it live last week in France (also without EC) and it was an absolute madness. 😁

I have just noticed a genuine travesty though. 521 reaction videos in, including loads of Japanese metal reactions, and no Broken By The Scream. There videos generate great reaction content and given how animated you tend to be, even more so in this case. As you like Hanabie, Fate Gear etc, I think they would work for you.

That was Momoko, the newest BABYMETAL member, with the "Are you ready?" growl and joining in with the two "Everybody!" growls.
The members refer to this as showing her fangs. : )
Tank the Tech (Electric Callboy's tour manager) confirmed that a BABYMETAL member did some of the growls on this song.
Nico's high register combined with Su's soprano voice made this a match-up that had to happen.

I fortunately witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 in Japan. Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. There were many mosh / circle pits over there 😄. On Day-1, the girls and Nico / Kevin hugged each other (then group hug) to celebrate the success of the live debut (heartwarming!!)

The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in Fox_Fest. So the band in the back of the girls and Nico / Kevin was BM's West Kami Band in place of EC band that played in this MV. On this 50:50 collaboration basis, that was great, too. The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. Now the 3 girls and 2 boys are doing this song with EC band in EC shows and with Kami Band in BM shows, in two ways, in European festivals 💛。
I know it's scant consolation, but they've performed this live together a few times - definitely check out the official live version they did at Fox Fest.
