How One Woman is Rescuing Horses and Helping to Stop Horse Slaughter

Kris Latham owns Second Chance Cheekeye Ranch, a horse rescue that provides a safe home to abandoned animals and keeps them out of the slaughterhouse. This safe haven can only save so many horses but with awareness, love, volunteers and hard work, they hope to help stop the inhumane killing of horses for meat consumption.
