INFJ personality types are known for being one of the most highly intuitive personality types across the MBTI personality system spectrum. However, there are many INFJ personality types who struggle with intuition, whether that’s because they don’t know how to access it in everyday life, or once they do access it, they struggle to trust it. When an INFJ severely struggles with accessing or trusting their intuition, they may consider themselves “non-intuitive,” and feel cut off from that part of themselves.
Because intuition is such a core function of the INFJ personality type’s function stack, it’s essential that INFJs who struggle with intuition learn how to access this part of themselves and use it to help move them forward in life. One of the main reasons that a “non-intuitive” INFJ may struggle with intuition is because they were raised in a household where their intuitive ability was never validated or reflected back to them, and they were strongly encouraged to not believe in their own intuition and rely on their thinking function instead. These types of INFJs grow up leaning very heavily into the logic and thinking side of life and they can experience deep fear around letting go of control and surrendering to their intuitive nature.
For an INFJ personality type (or INFP personality type) to truly thrive in life, they must take steps to develop their intuition and connect with it on a daily basis. This prevents overthinking and also helps with INFJ anxiety and INFJ depression. There are a few key things that INFJ personality types can do to cultivate their intuition and connect with it more deeply.

Intuition is a skill that needs to be exercised or it will atrophy. Learn meditation, boundaries, discernment, self-care, and respect your emotional and spiritual self.
i agree, also get into ventral vagal
Just gotta learn to flex it, I was 35 before I figured it out. Mostly just had to start voicing my random thoughts before I realized what was happening
I always had a feeling I wasnt intuitive
Ha ha!!😊
That’s the only thing that kept me from being sure that I’m an INFJ and not ISFJ. I was so confused. Thank you!
I’m 60…. And up until this last relationship of 5 years, I didn’t realize how strong my intuition was. He almost brought it out/triggered it out of me! I think it accelerates it or magnifies it when you’re with toxic challenging people. Mine always strengthened in tough relationships. ….when you’ve been around way too many narcissists. Then something kicks you in the head ….particularly after a really big betrayal . Suddenly, it’s like you’re living in a brand new world, you’re a new person and you almost feel magical. I can’t say that I knew the word for my feelings was intuitive, up until 10 yrs ago….but it was definitely not embraced in my family, or in my relationships…..dealt with a lot of gaslighting, which
adds to you wondering if you can trust yourself at all x 100!
I know that’s a completely separate subject. Definitely ….no one takes me seriously if I say “I feel …” . Instantly causes issues. Yep…..I would head into logic. Then I would get accused of being like a lawyer, in court, etc! Wild that you said that , wow. Thank you so much for this video/topic/message!
Wow, I never thought that, but now that you said it, I think the same might have happened to me as well. 😮
That's because I feel statements are healthy communication and they probably don't like that
I always ignore mine. Don't have any time to trust my intuition
This describes my experience and I believe this is exactly why Objective Personality typed me as an ST type. I’ve had to prove myself my whole life to my ISTP brother & ISTP mom, so I can mask as an ST fairly well, but this has caused me so much stress my entire life. It wasn’t until I burned out in my late 20s that I realized I still wasn’t being my true self, so I’m finally working towards being authentically me and expressing my NF.
Release control to develope intuition, humm...makes since.
wow! you unlocked this for me - seems so obvious - but never put two and two together. Thank you for this valuable information. You're the best!
i actually resonate with this video.... I feel so "at home" listening to your videos, it is so relaxing for my mind and body listening to your videos and voice, thank you Lauren!
Great scientist are also intuitive and don't deny their intuition: it is the source of their discoveries or new insights. So called (left brain) intellectuals can make a mess of theories discovered by these scientist in trying to make everything concrete, logic , verifiable .... but ofter miss the point in these breakthrough insights.
Just wondering. Are you an INFJ? New here.
Embracing experimental living

Omg i can't thank you enough for this video

Wishing you all the best, and a huge virtual hug from a very lost and disconnected infj.
❤❤❤
This is so absolutely on the mark, Lauren. Once again, it feels like you're in my head!
I did not expect much from this video as I see myself as much in my intuition, but it actually moved me to tears when you explained the connection between my choked intuition and my need to control everything inside and outside. Thank you for this!
Thank you.
Does she mean precognition?
@@hestias1flame I'm guessing this presenter is probably not willing or ready to delve into the paranormal.
