I've only seen the SSC Gambit in person, but I really like the looks of both. I think any X-men collector or Gambit fan can't lose on either of these great pieces.
He looks amazing, cannot wait for him to arrive. I think SS will be amazing too. On a one hand the SS portrait is way better, on the other hand it takes a lot of space, some of the textures are very simple whilst I just do not like the base, even if it fits with Rogue’s base.
I like the statue. However the cost is far too much when compared to a sideshow piece that’s rather comparable as well. Either way, congratulations on your acquisition.

It's a quality statue but from the onset the Sideshow Gambit just blew me away with how dynamic it was with the flowing leather coat and both portraits. The toothpick portrait is so damn good.
Something is off about this piece. His torso is too skinny and his jacket is too slim. I don't know why they made him a skinny punk. Sideshows Gambit will beat this piece.

Gambit is my favorite! I love this statue but I'm looking forward to the sideshow more, personally. The portraits, colors and pose all look "more Gambit". I was pleasantly surprised by this statue though, liked it way more than I expected. I'm Not a huge fan of the long haired portrait (something is way off with the expression) or the thrown cards effect (it looks more like fire and one card looks like it's about to hit his coat). Overall though, I love it. I'd say 4.5/5, mainly because I expect Sideshow to be better. And lol...ex-Man. Don't get "cancelled", X (don't even get me started on the bs that is cancel culture lol)!
Sideshow factory will have to absolutely nail it to beat this one. I actually like both XM and Sideshow a lot. If Sideshow can get close to the prototype, I am going Sideshow. Just because I love that EX portrait. But XM has really exceeded the prototype on this one. So very good job XM! 👏🏼
Ive got the Sideshow Gambit on order to go with sideshows Rogue, X23, Magneto and Wolverine, looks awesome just like your Xm Gambit, i don't think you can go wrong no matter which route you go down. Looks awesome buddy
I’m with #sideshowgambit, XM is pretty nice but it would break the bank for me 😞. So I ordered Sideshow Gambit instead. Hope it doesn’t disappoint and that it goes well with my Rogue 🤞🏻

I actually pre-order side shows Gambit but XM looks good but the price is way too high when I can get one from the side shows cheaper and the remaining balance that it would’ve cost me to buy ex and I could put into another statue but I wouldn’t mind having XM LOL 😂
It's a great looking statue but I overall I prefer the SS version, more dynamic pose and superior portraits. I agree about the dancing, shades of something Flatleyesque 8-)
This is an awesome statue but I'm getting the Sideshow. Conceptually they're close and I have the Sideshow Rogue so the Danger Room bases will work well together. Plus, with the ridiculous discounts I get from Sideshow sometimes it just makes more sense. I'm getting it below retail whereas this would cost me twice as much. 👍✌

Really like this one. Lots of color/shading/texture and motion. And the base is not super massive like the Iceman piece was. Sometimes, I feel, like the base gets more attention than it should. Yeah it's important but it should compliment not compete. Also, a large base makes it hard to find a good spot to place some statues. This Gambit piece could easily fit into a collection.
I got a shout out on the Gambit video? This one is actually one of the 5 I ended up canceling. I just needed to trim down. No longer doing a full abit modu cube.. I swapped this one for the XM Sabre and I think that helps round out the collection more. I still have the SS one coming as well as a custom. It won't shock me if this one edges SS out. We will see if SS can deliver a prod piece close to proto.
Nice Gambit statue. Yeah maybe a translucent kinetic powers would be better just to lessen alot of the sculpted pink to have some light contrast colors to separate most of the sculpted colors the statue has, but the entire statue looks nice cool. The classic portrait look with his smirk and head gear bandana is the way to display him like he would in the comics and in the '90's X-Men animated series. But i have to say the Sideshow Gambit looks way better the dynamic attack X-treme pose is where it's at.
I like the sideshow one better, the face, the presence and the dynamic pose; it feels like i'm really seeing Gambit in accion!!! But some of the details of the XM studios are way better, the coat, the headband thingy, the colors and some details of the suit, the color of the wave and some minor ditails more...
The Exclusive version of Sideshow’s Gambit is the better portrait in my opinion. But the dimensions in depth on him makes him too hard to display. I love the footprint on the XM piece, but the price point is a bit too high. Can’t wait to see a side by side comparison!
This piece is pretty awesome. The paint and sculpt are top shelf. The textures to the shading and no mixed media with such a dynamic pose. That being said im not the biggest fan of the portraits think sideshows is much better. Also the price with shipping is a little crazy. Hard to say which is better i like things about both. Always hard to judge from pictures. Great addition to the collection.
i really wanted this piece from XM Gambit is one of my favorite X-Men, then i was going to Sideshow, my wife would not go for those prices but i had to settle for the Iron studios version i had to get a Gambit statue I was always pissed about missing out on the last ones that came out from Sideshow and Kotobukiya but i am sure i will be kicking myself not getting this .
