A nice, honest, truthful and enjoyable review as always...may i ask, what is the make of the rotating base/Lazy Susan please and where could i purchase this item? Thanks Radd Titan 👍
When he's posed without the energy arc, you can't really tell what he's doing. When he's posed with the energy arc, he kind of looks like a fairy throwing fairy dust. I agree with you both about his hair being subpar. Not trying to bash, but imho, the Sideshow piece is superior.
Two things I can't get past about this piece. First, it has a strange pose. Normally, if you are throwing something from your right arm, you should be lifting your right leg. Second, the portrait. He looks like an old worn leather shoe. I had this pre-ordered and decided not to purchase it. I took a $300 loss and bought the SS exclusive version.
It's not a terrible piece but It's not great. I'm not keen on either portrait, the honeycomb texture on the torso is a big mistake and the pose looks as though he's doing a jig. In fact, a better pose would've helped to ease the other gripes. Overall, a missed opportunity for me. Cheers, chaps, nice work.
Yeah man it was a shit day as Mike was super excited then he opened it and it was like someone died! You can't win them all and xm have had a great year but this is one of their fails in my opinion
@@GeoManRaddTitan It's a massive shame, I could clearly see he was disappointed. As I said, the biggest thing that lets it down is the jig type pose, It should've been spotted at design stage, I find It difficult to believe that all of the team were happy with that element of It, It's obviously wrong! Fingers crossed the next piece he gets in makes up for the disappointment of this. I agree, XM have consistently delivered some stunning work this year but sadly, every streak comes to an end. Having said all of that, if I'd have bought It, I would keep It!
@@stukavonferno8858 well this was from their 1:6 dio before certain characters were scrapped! The people demanded the gambit on that dio be made in 1:4 and that was a mistake!!
@@GeoManRaddTitan I see, I think as a 1/6th statue It would've been a fine addition to any Gambit/X-Men collection. Unfortunately, the bigger the scale the more glaring the issues! I don't think any producer of a Gambit statue has covered themselves in glory, the accolade for top dog is still up for grabs!
Beautiful piece. The colors are great
Hmmm not for me
Beautiful piece, best gambit for me, thanks for the review guys
Cheers pal! We were all disappointed with this one.
@@GeoManRaddTitan Your honesty is always so refreshing mate, shame for mike but glad he was able to move it on
He looks beautiful and lots of top details !
Yeah its a miss from xm this time

Its from amazon mate! Appreciate the support! Godbless
A brutally honest review....No tip toeing thru the tulips here..just the way RT does it. The SS OG Gambit is still Top Dog for me.
Glad you can appreciate it my friend!! We may not be the most popular but I challenge anyone to find more honest!
Good review as always, but sorry to see that Mike is disappointed. Cheers to you both 🍻
Lol he sold it so he is better now!
@@GeoManRaddTitan Good news! 😂👍🏻

Not bashing to call it how it is! The minute this community understands that will be the minute this hobby won't be seen as suited better for kids!!
@@GeoManRaddTitan You nailed it right on the head Brother!
Here we go!
Lol you sadist
