actually kinda nice to watch, TTT will always be awesome and have a special place in my heart but watching D rolling some poor guys was great

Damn D, that was some nice pivoting at 7:29! Can't tell if you managing to avoid a trade there was calculated or not, but being able to deal with non-stop pre-fire that smoothly, without any cover to hide behind, is something I strive for.

I mean he's not just humble he's correct too, it could have easily been at least a trade if the other guy's gun had fired. I also felt kinda bad for the guy getting nailed in the crossfire right after getting knocked out like that too.

Hey D! I know I’m late to the video but I have a suggestion for a future video: a beginner’s guide to getting into airsoft.
Yeah, beginners guides for starting airsoft have probably already been made, but one coming from you would be mint. I loved your narrative style and method of presentation of info from your katana videos. If you could bring that to a “starting airsoft” video, I’m sure you’d get people interested in the hobby!

Have you checked out the corridor DnD show? It's on their channel! They did some pretty innovative stuff with virtual production in Unreal Engine and built out huge maps

Its interesting to see what a match is like when its not private friend group matches. Playing with randoms is def a different experience with everyone trying their hardest. would be cool if someone crouch walked around and offered people sandwiches

I just used my ssp5 4.3 and my mag wouldn’t feed, same issue Jet was having. Ugh almost so perfect. And the front sight fell off and there clearly wasn’t any glue :(. It’s a beast though. Outshooting dmr’s
Noticed some people having that issue. Weird cause every mag they sent me works perfectly.
i got an ssp1 and it's so sick. but i want the ssp5 so bad. even though i can't play airsoft anymore. i just want to own it.

Go for it.
Check legality and availability in your area, and if both of those are green, then go for it. For a beginner in recommend a g and g cm16, come sort of combat machine. At least go for m4 style for your first gun. It will teach you good habits, parts are everywhere, it's easy to fix most of them, and you can put as many useless accessories as you want. Don't go with a gas anything at first, you need to have experience with this kinda stuff for gas
Find the closest field, and hop into a game! You don't need a gun to try it - most, if not nearly all fields will have rentals.
If you do want to buy a gun: start off around low-mid range in price, and keep in mind what type of field you'll play at. An AEG is easily the most effective starter gun on an outdoor field, but in CQB you can definitely get away with going pistol only even if you're a complete beginner.
As for the exacts on gun price: it depends.
If you're buying a rifle, I would not recommend spending under $150 because what you get under that price range will most likely fail you. Pistols are a bit cheaper, but if it's a gas blowback pistol I still would not go anywhere under 100. Revolvers are hands-down the cheapest reliable option you have, but you *will* be at a big disadvantage if you bring one to a game. Same goes for bolt-action rifles.

Oh, and of course: don't cheap out on eye protection. You don't have to spend much for a good pair of goggles, but try not to go for the cheapest option available. Get something that you actually want to wear in a game.

Hey, so, D, I hope you see this; Warhammer 40K Darktide came out a year ago, and it just recently got a BIG update that expanded the classes talent trees, making it very fun and customisable, and it is super fun. I know you'd love to play it, it has a Boltgun weapon for Zealot and Veteran. It even has crossplay, so xbox and steam players can play together. I do highly recommend.
I played a ton when it first came out, interested to see what they added.

Do you still use this gun? Wanna grab one but seem to have a lot of feeding issues, a lot of peeps saying the mags are junk
I only had a couple feeding issues over the course of my time with the gun, some seem to be having more problems than others. I’m sure Novritsch will replace faulty mags.

Finally some actual airsoft content on this channel. Saying I never play public games and then calling it a shit show after one is such a poor representation of this sport you keep making videos about. It's almost as cringe as TTT in Airsoft lmao I absolutely hate that game type and idk how it's popular at all on here because it's terrible to play and boring to watch. All the people who like that content must be people who have never played airsoft and never will. This was great and actually shows how fun real airsoft is. I'd say more of this but again it seems like you didn't even enjoy it that much and wouldn't even have made this video if it wasn't sponsored. Plus with all the damn body armor you're wearing I'd just suggest to stop making airsoft content in general if you're going to just trash the sport the first time you actually play it for real, I'm just not understanding any of what's going on over here that TTT content is still what's being craved in 2024 lmao
