For a *real* quick-draw you have to have folks staring eachother down, watching eachother's reactions and trying to guess when the draw happens and/or bait eachother into going for the gun first. See, the way it worked was that you couldn't just draw and plug a guy; that there's murder, and you'll hang for it. But you could say that you saw the other guy draw, so you pulled and fired in self-defense, and you just happened to be faster. So it was a high-tension thing in which you try very hard not to be the first to draw - trying to bait the other guy into thinking you're about to so they go first - while still being faster and more accurate than the opponent when the guns actually come out. EDIT: Oh, and you couldn't have the gun cocked. Because that suggested that you went in fixin' to shoot somebody, and therefore it might well have been murder on your part anyways.
I'm honestly impressed how well fanning the hammer worked for Dalton. It's hard to shoot from the hip, let alone while jerking around your gun between shots while chambering a new round.
So much character showing off in this series! I love how each person has a western look that really speaks to their style and even their draw and swagger before the draw. People are calling foul on Alphonse but truth be told I think hand on gun is the default for a five step duel. Plus he was being super hammy and awesome.

Airsoft Alfonse Cheater (Confirmed) 🤡 I just purchased the “Quick Draw” Battle Pass tbh it does look pretty bad in the slow mo shots without synced up audio, this was my first time doing a duel, I thought everyone was allowed to have their hand on the pew before drawing until we clarified before the last round, I was mostly just concerned about not shooting myself accidentally in the crotch by pushing the hammer forward while pulling it out of my pants since I didn’t have a holster more than anything else 😂
I mean, I real cheat wouldn't have walked, and turned 'round and shot the enemy in the back. That's how you survived the old west. Not being on the wrong end of the gun.

I would love the SmokeWagon if it weren't for two things: 1) That permanent gap between the hammer and the frame (hurts to fan the hammer) 2) The hammer spring being weak and waring out pretty quick I'm looking for a Tanaka to invest in, I really want a police revolver model
Quickdraw is all about the....quick. draw. Haven't you guys watched westerns? You stand a distance apart, hand near (but not ON your gun) and you draw and fire as fast as you can. You could have had someone say "DRAW" or you could have let the two gunfighters try to outdraw each other showdown style. This was some Alexander Hamilton style dueling. Fun, but wrong era.
Hands can be on guns before the draw, just watch the showdown at the OK corral on Tombstone, Doc Holliday had his hand on his gun, what matters most is when you draw.

The key to a quick draw is to stay calm and aim. (And speed to do the aforementioned stuff) But as long as you LAND your shot, who cares how many shots were fired by the other guy! Edit: I'd like to see a quick draw duel. Like both shooters facing one another the whole time.
