It’s kinda hard not to when he goes turbo-incel here. The scene is phenomenally good in-game but it’s just inevitably hilarious out of context the same way Metal Gear Rising’s use of memes as a plot point was doomed to be, well, memed on!

@@ltb1345 his choice to pursue eternity is interesting but the only thing that really matters abt his character in how it interacts with the other characters is that he wants to fuck Mio, he generously has 2 character traits (granted, more than protagonist Noah but hes not exactly fleshed out either)

Much like the Joker(as funny as it is bringing up a memed character, it's very much true). When he accepts Moebius, he finally feels in control of his life, and he's consumed and obsessed with his only purpose in life, aka M. When his purpose is taken away from him, he feels like he's lost control again and doesn't know how to cope with it, hence the mental breakdown. He's back to who he was before Z made him as powerful as he just were before M died. And yea I love the out of context memes. I just wanted to explain why I think N's motivations are very human, because they're a reaction to total despair and injustice. The idea is that many of us could fall victim to the same situation if we were put in similar circumstances. Even Noah reflects on this, and the same idea applies to Shania.
That's 100% how I'd imagine Quandale Dingle to act at an anime convention. There is simply no conceivable way Carti is going back to Aionios after this.

Not gonna lie, my favorite part of N *is* that he’s a fuckin lunatic, broken by the endless cycle of time. He’s just so shameless in his intentions, not hiding it under a layer of excuses like “the greater good.” He is possessive of Mio, and that’s it. Nothing else to it.
N is duality itself. Tragic antagonist, and peak weeaboo simplord. The ham in that sandwich of lines during his breakdown straddles the fine line between heart wrenching and kinda ridiculous. It's the same kind of duality the Hollow Knight fan base treats Zote with.
This is the perfect example of a thumbnail and title that isn't clickbait, gives you a perfect idea of what the video will be about, and doesn't spoil too much. Thank you, Shifted Pyro.
Tbh this video kind of highlights my problems with N as a character. I never the feeling that he ever actually cared about Mio’s feelings, it’s just “me me me! I’m so sad! I can’t take it! I’m dying!” Man’s as emo as his haircut.
That's the point, he's supposed to be a failed version of Noah because he never took Mio's feelings into consideration. It takes Noah realizing that he can't keep obsessing over Mio that allows him to overcome X and beat Z.
I feel that's what they were going for. He was broken from the constant failures to change the world and became desperate to preserve what he had. He never considered M's own feelings; that's why he effectively forced her to turn evil.
He kept trying to hold onto the Mio he lost, that’s why he was never the same with M as he was with Mio in flashbacks. M was forced into a life she didn’t want, so she never could be “his Mio”. Therefore, he obsessively tried to keep filling an emptiness that M couldn’t fill even if she wanted to.
this video becomes infinitely more funnier if you imagine him harassing some unlucky noah and mio cosplayers
