it was alluded to in the original film. Ursula had been banished for years by the start of the first one but we never see how that happened. we know she wanted to overthrow Triton but why? in some of the stage versions and an early scripted, Triton and Ursula were going to be siblings with the trident and shell necklace being powerful magic items given to them by their father. the villain of this prequel was a mermaid not an squid (or octopus if you count the human arms) so how does she become Ursula?
Bingo. They won't necessarily appreciate the difference between good and bad quality at the time, but being exposed to better quality movies is good for their personal growth in the long run. Plus, once they're old enough to understand why it's good, their nostalgia will be for high-quality stories/art that they will appreciate more when they look back on them, rather than thinking, "I know this is dumb but it was fantastic when I was 5."
@@sabaaqaisar800 a big part of the movie is the Step mother making the Prince think that he's in love with one of her daughters. Throughout the movie the stepsister is happy to be with the Prince, but eventually backs out to let Cinderella have a happy life, but the stepmother forces her to keep playing the love of the Prince. At the end when he realises what happened, he isn't angry, in fact he recognises the stepsister as a victim in the situation since she was forced to do a lot of bad stuff to him against her will.
imagine a disney movie killing off the title character. Even the villains get off screen deaths. but now I want a fan dub that does kill off the title character.
The people who made Coco saw The Little Mermaid Ariel's Beginning and said: “Alright, let's use the same plot but instead of being trash let's have our movie be a masterpiece!
@Agustina Olivero Oscar nominee is something very different to Oscar winner. I admit minor studios get disadvantaged in the Oscars compared to Disney/Pixar, but Coco's achievement is still a very impressive feat.
I appreciate how angry and intense he gets talking about these movies, especially at 7:37 I laughed so hard and it makes me feel better to know I'm not the only one who gets like this lol
Why are people bashing Rescuers Down Under?! The animation is stunning, the scale is grand, atmosphere is wonderful and the villain is amusingly threatening.
... I thought I was the only one who liked it!!! The whole thing started off light just like every unnecessary sequel with fairy godmother goofing around and losing her wand.. but with serious consequences- and just like that the plot got really dark at times. But now we have characters who actually have personalities, and a main character who's finally stopped crying and learned to take matters into her own hands. And is it weird that I kinda liked Anastasia more as a character in this movie? I just felt like she had wayyy more character development than in the second movie and was actually really relatable?
I saw most of the Disney sequels as a kid and Cinderella 3 was my favorite. I liked how serious and dark it got, I liked the prince, and though I don't give Cinderella shit for being the princess who sits and wait for her happy ending (since the moral is not to let the terrible situation in your life destroy your caring nature and once you work through it you'll get your happy ending, which is something a lot of people seemed to miss) it was nice to make her more proactive. The only problem I had was when the king gave the prince shit for the make-every-woman-wear-the-slipper plan when it was the king's idea in the first movie, but it didn't ruin it for me.
Right? Honestly the scene where Stitch dies makes me tear up a little as an adult, and the bits of backstory we get about Lilo’s mom actually feel like they add a lot to her character!
It had its issues, but overall, the message was good, the characters were pretty solid, and I liked the music. I could definitely see Mushu trying to break them apart, because while he loves Mulan, he is still really selfish, as seen at the end of the first movie. Shang was a little weird, but hey, that's dating for ya, lol.
i'm refusing to watch the hunchback of Notre Dame 2. the first movie ended perfectly and I have no idea what the second ones about, and plan to keep it that way
Yes. Please do not watch it. I thankfully have forgotten 90% of it since watching it as a child (I don't even know what possessed me to watch it and I don't really want to) I just recently tried to rewatch it as an adult and I couldn't even get past the first 10 minutes. It is such a travesty that I have no words for. It is a huge insult to the first film and an even bigger insult to the intelligence of the people who might want to watch it.
You're right. Honestly, the whole love interest thing doesn't annoy me that much. What does annoy me is how poorly handled it was! Quasimodo's love interest was as bland as bland can be. She's this weird Belle archetype except she has ZERO of the charm that Belle does. If they were going to give him a "get the girl happy ending" (which honestly wasn't necessary and was a huge part of what made the first film so special) then they should have made her a stronger character. Or better yet, have the main focus be on Quasimodo coming to terms with Frollo's death (even if he was a wicked S.O.B the man was the only parental figure he knew) as he also tries to overcome the years of psychological abuse that was dealt to him. The love interest should have been something that was more on the sidelines to support him as he deals with his trauma. It should NOT have been the main focus of the story! After such a dark film, does Disney really expect me to believe that all of these characters go on to live such happy and perfect lives? Hell no. There would have had to have been some kind of emotional closure afterwards. The first film deserves so much better than that piece of shit. I could honestly scream. Oh yeah, and the animation is a fucking joke.
Hipster Dinosaur Well, I had seen a few people say that they liked it (if you can believe it) which is what prompted me to give it a chance. But of course I was wrong. Not dumb. Just overly optimistic.
Ehh, the animation is very important being an animated movie and all and TLK 2 is much closer to Saturday morning cartoon than Disney classic in that department. Also, you’re just supposed to accept the new characters, their motivations, background and the conflict setup with no explanation whatsoever and it’s not tied all that well with the first movie. That’s why it gets a lot of “fanfiction” criticism. I also see people giving He Lives in You a lot of praise but that song is not originally from this movie. It was copied and pasted from a 1995 album inspired by the first movie. All things combined, 5/10 is a fair rating, which is not bad for a low budget movie, made by a tv crew, that was not considered good enough for a theatrical release.
I really loved Kronk in the ENG, but unfortunately haven't seen KNG. Really wanna see it, terrible or not! He stole the show AND my heart! He may be an idiot, but he's OUR idiot. GO KRONK!
Personally, I'd have to agree with the superlative award. It has really memorable songs that amplified it. It doesn't carry some of the same strengths as the first movie, but it stands on its own two feet pretty well.
I thought that Ariel prequel was terrible and how her mom died going after a gift her husband gave her was stupid. The greatest gift she had with her husband was their love and kids yet she dies going after a tricket *facepalm*.
Thank you i thought i'm the only one who do not like the prequel, it feels too forced plus it ruins the continue of the first little mermaid and the tv series.
I think it was supposed to parallel Ariel's obsession with trinkets...only Athena wasn't blessed with Ariel's dumb luck to get out of the stupid dangerous situations she barrels into.
@@Sirena101it tries to give examples but it failed. I hate when they killed Athena we never know what happened it just too forced, I wonder did they use Athena body for a figurehead.
Same. I actually really love the prequel but I definitely agree how stupid Athena died. Why couldn’t it been where Atina would’ve been crushed by the ship and her mother simply didn’t have enough time to get out of the way or got harpooned or trapped in a net?? She literally went after something Triton literally could replace with a snap of his trident!
the part when the prince jumped out the window made me die. Necromancy: helpful beyond belief. Edit: WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE ME? edit 2.0: so people like me. this is successful.
The Lion King 2 is one of the best Disney sequels ever made. Decent plot that adds to the story of the first movie, killer soundtrack that is criminally underrated, interesting characters, quality animation, the whole nine yards.
He's fa la la la fallen in love, UUUUUUUUUUUUGGGHHHHHH!!! HORRIBLE STORY. HORRIBLE ANIMATION. HORRIBLE CHARACTERIZATIONS. EVERYTHING FUCKING SUCKS IN THAT ABOMINATION OF A SEQUEL.
Ha... that's kinda exactly how I felt about the dead Ariel fake-out. Woulda been pretty funny if she HAD died though, and then ol' Kingy-ding, wracked with guilt, kidnapped another mermaid who looked and sounded just like Ariel and groomed her to be the Ariel we know and love from The Little Mermaid. Now there's a prequel I'd watch. That big green manatee thing was hilarious though... I wish he could have been in a better movie.
Ruby Doomsday I'd watch the heck out of that movie. It's dark yet fits in with the ideas of the original stories (basically I can see the Brothers Grimm doing this).
In Mulan 2, Li Shang falls literally into *the grand f****ng canyon* because, (the tiny remaining sliver of) the rope wouldn't hold Mulan and Him both. How Mulan made it out is not even shown. Shang then proceeds to show up unscathed on the edge of a river, and rides in on horseback to save the day... How is this not #1?
Ok so maybe that is a little ridiculous, but it really is a good movie, and you have to remember that happens in tons of Disney kovies, including the really good ones
ariel’s beginning makes me really mad, cause they obviously just pulled something out of their asses for the plot, when a prequel for that series could have been really genuinely interesting and cool. they could’ve made a really cool story about ursula’s background, how she got exiled, definitely including ariel’s mother and how she died and maybe even intertwining it. it already had some really great material but they threw it out there the window to make this garbage.
Agree i do not like this prequel too, it should follow the tv series plus they should add portait of life that what really happened to ariel's mother plus they should add ursula backstory. Im tired of ariel and triton fighting all the time. This prequel is so boring.
OKAY SO HAMLET WITH LIONS WAS A SUCCESS, YES??? WELL WAIT TILL YOU HEAR THE NEXT BIG IDEA... ROMEO AND JULIET WITH LIONS!!! (Tbh, i liked it okay too. I just like how Lion King is Shakespeare with cats.)
Don't worry bud, there's actually a LOT of people who like Lion King 2. Some even have the balls to go further and say it was better than the first one. But I'm one of the ones that liked it too
No you're definitely not alone. The lion king 2 is my favourite disney sequel. When I was kid I actually enjoyed that movie much more than the original.
Caroline Same. I never really liked animated films as a kid that much (loved Tarzan 1, Toy Story 1 and Dinosaur though) but I genuinely enjoyed Goofy's movies.
I didn't realize there were two...I also have no idea where to go them sooooooo. actually, disco librarian? I think I watched the second one and never watched the first one LOL this is what happens when you click random stuff that looks interesting on something like Netflix
goofy has some pretty dope shite. best movies a good tv show, and the old shorts where he was a angry as hole was pretty funny. i allways thought it was donald, goofy, mikey
Dude, Bambi 2 was great. The developing relationship between Bambi and his father was great to see, while at the same time not straying too far from the first movie's overall feel.
Xen I think the point was, however, that it didn't have anything at stake as you knew no matter what bambi would get from point a to b and live another day
Alistair Davies True. However, suspense isn't really something the movie relies on. In my opinion, Bambi 2 didn't aim to involve viewers in a chronological, engaging story, but rather let them explore the relationship.
Right? Honestly, I loved the first and I had a good time with the second. No the Orville scenes didn't add anything, but the villain was ridiculous and a little bit disturbing, the side characters didn't suck (even if I've seen better), Bernard and Bianca are still cute, and the human boy was delightfully spunky. I enjoyed it.
I don't know, maybe I need to rewatch it, but I just remember being so bored when people played it for me as a kid. The only part I liked seeing was the gold eagle and that didn't come until the end of the film.
There are so many good Ghibli movies that are so lesser known. I just want the list to be made so people start watching stuff that isn't just "Howls Moving Castle" and "Spirited away"
TheSonic Ravn Obviously you haven't seen all of Ghibli movies. I have a collection of films by Ghibli. Some are kind of obscure. And some, like: "The Whispers of the heart" or "Only Yesterday" Are such "nostalgia inducing" movies. That pretty much are hard to follow. As the events are not relatable at all. The movies are slow and the plot is not conclusive. Also films like "The Wind rises" or "Porco Rosso" even if not bad at all. Lack the vibe Ghibli films have. Getting us in fantastic worlds of magic and sometimes mistery. The plot is rather dismissive and have so many holes or so many strange arguments. Definitely I'd like to watch a top of Ghibli movies. But it would not surprise me if films like "Spirited Away", "Howl's moving castle", "Grave of the fireflies" or "Mononoke princess" fight for number one best.
I have 2 *HUGE* problems with Ariel's Beginning: 1.) If we consider The Little Mermaid tv series to be canon (and i'm pretty sure it technically is), then that means the series takes place before the first film, but *after* this one, and NO WHERE in the series is it EVER mentioned that Triton once banned all music in Atlantica. In fact, I'm almost positive that there were flashbacks to an even younger Ariel in the show, where she's shown singing and enjoying music. 2.) Triton banning music in Atlantica makes very little sense and accomplishes absolutely *nothing* within the narrative of the films/franchise. The whole point of this movie seems to be showing humans being (inadvertently) the cause of Ariel's mom's death and to explain why Triton hated/feared humans so much and how this led to him forbidding merfolk from interacting with them and the surface world itself. The problem is the connection to music and how Triton, apparently, became resentful of it. Which is... confusing. Yes the mom (can't remember her name for the life of me) goes back for the music box which seems to convince him that music makes people careless and puts them in danger (or something. i've only seen the movie twice so i might not be remembering this part correctly), but how will Triton's banning of music help merfolk be safer?? It's not like humans can hear the music being played underwater, so they won't be drawn to it or anything. In which case, just banning merfolk from interacting with the surface world should be enough... which he does in this movie! The "Footloose" plot is completely irrelevant. Obviously they just wanted an excuse to make another little mermaid film and the only thing they could think of (or assumed people would want to see) was Ariel's mom and how she died along with Triton's reason for hating humans... but then realized that would be way too short and was probably better suited to being an episode in the series (or like a prologue to the first film) but the series was already over and you can't add a whole new scene to an already made (and decades old) film so they added in a Footloose plot to essentially pad for time. Literally the ONLY interesting thing that happens is the first(?) scene which shows the death of Ariel's mom. You could turn the movie off after this scene and immediately start the first film and you wouldn't miss ANYTHING.
I am your density not to mention, I don’t mean to be insensitive or anything, but why would she go back to recover a music box, of all things? It’s *just* a music box.
But didn’t that series had an episode where a SUBMARINE appeared, as well a diving suit? Wouldn’t it cause a paradox in when the series takes place at?
I mean, I liked how much attention was drawn to Ariel’s sisters in The Little Mermaid III, cause they didn’t get enough of it in my opinion, and they’re actually quite pleasant and funny too. I don’t know, maybe that’s just me Edit: Also, WORK, WORK, WORK SENORA! WORK IT ALL THE TIME!
Same. NGL I actually wished they had more distinct personalities and small stories aside Atina being the oldest. Maybe she’s overprotective and strict because she feels guilty of being the reason their mother died?? I’m honestly surprised Ariel’s passion for humans wasn’t even introduced in the movie, considering she’s literally about the same age
A normal Guy exactly, and that's what I like about it. And it shows what happened to Ariel's mother, and how she met Flounder. I think it does give a good foundation to go forward onto the Original Little Mermaid. It's just a little over dramatic. I also really like Benjamin, he's adorable ❤
DatMelloTho it already shows how flounder meets Ariel in the series. So it's a bit contradicting there. But I personally really like Ariel's beginning. One of my, if not most, favourite sequel
Yeah, I mean, it's definitely bad, but I can think of several that were objectively worse... Atlantis 2, Fox and the Hound 2... Hell, I felt Hunchback 2 deserved to be number 1 just by virtue of how much it shits all over the original.
I strive to have the sheer comedic power of that Cinderella 3 scene. The day that I’m so funny that I will actually leap out a window if I’m forbidden from taking the stairs is the day I think I will have done enough for the world.
Eh, it may just be me, but I didn't really like it; I just felt the plot was kinda useless and it would've been better had we just left it a singular movie. Oh well. At least we got two cool songs with it.
@@CatsBootleg well it's okay everyone got their own opinion tho, for me it's the growth of the characters that's wholesome, and yeah new great songs and beautiful animation, but yeah all i care from the story is just the ahtohallan part, where she get to meet her mother and have cool transformation lmao
@@dohansethereal1336 I'm aware that people all have their own opinions. And yea that seemed like one of the only good parts of the movie, at least, to me too ^^
"Take the three episodes they made, glue them together with some hackneyed overarcing narative, and package that as a a movie." Why am I suddenly reminded of the Digimon Movie?
Adrian The Vulture because the English dub literally took three movies that didn't go together and made it one movie with a dumb plot. I don't know why this happens but oh god it has to stop
I actually really do want to see a review of all the Tom and Jerry movies. I think I've only seen one. It was the Mars one. I've seen it at least 5 times.
It's like one of those things where the station decides to air one and only one episode and you see it a thousand times. For me it was the car race one, whatever that was called.
For me it was Tom and Jerry: the Magic Ring, although if you showed me a scene it wouldn't click until halfway through. Also, it was Fast and the Furry-ous or something lame like that.
THANK YOU FOR MENTIONING THE KING OF THIEVES It was the only Aladdin movie I had a kid, and I watched it constantly. I love that movie. Extremely Goofy Movie to, I adored that movie.
I had a very traumatic childhood, my parents made me watch Ariel's beginning over and over and over again because my cousin was visiting for a week and it was her "Favorite" movie, but she actually just liked watching my annoyed reactions to the movie. Oh yeah, she also did this with bee movie and chicken little
I rated Lilo and Stitch close to a 10/10. Even though it stole its story from E. T., it is too genuine, emotional, deep, sincere, professionally animated and age-neutral.
101 Dalmatians 2 is actually one of my most nostalgic movies. The movies I used to watch when I was a little kid I would watch constantly, so I essentially remember every frame if it.
i'm sorry but i found it a let down to end the movies like they should of done a lion king 3 and then end it off so it felt finished yes the lion king 2 was a great movie but it felt like they had more to tell so i would give it a 3\10 the first parts was great but was getting worse as the movie went bot i did laugh a little
K̊n̛̘̙̚e̗̚eˮ serious question: is it a feminist thing or a religious thing? because monogamy has greater religious ties than feminist ties and, if we are going to check-list-feminist either movie, the first movie would more likely hit the check list than the second. The only reason it doesn't is it is based on a really old story whose adaptation was well received.
Is no one going to talk about how in The little mermaid 2, they changed Eric’s voice actor to Rob Paulsen aka YAKKO FROM THE ANIMANIACS. I went to the song where Yakko names the countries of the world and I can’t unhear it.
At least it's not as bad when he voiced Bubsy and Coconut Fred(speaking of the series, Sir Nutalot is the best episode of that show and Sephiroth as an apple was a hilarious decision).
I think I've only seen the race and mars ones, but I liked them a lot. They were truly funny, wayyy more funny than the actual old Tom and Jerry cartoons. Like when the Martian King fell down the elaborate staircase for like 30 seconds, and when the scientist tried to prevent the race caster from touching his antimatter by jump-diving over it, thereby detonating the antimatter and vaporizing the scientist. Then there was the demon florist voiced by Tom Kenny. I was like 13-15 at the time, so I'm pretty sure this isn't didn't-know-better talking. This is to be contrasted with the Scooby Doo movies, like that Hawaiian one, the vampire one, and the chupacabra one, which were just as unfunny as the original cartoon.
THANK YOU for appreciating Cinderella 3, I've been telling this for ages. I watched it as a kid but it's still one of my favourites, it's hilarious it has a good story and it's better than the original cinderella (it's boring sorry)
I agree. It's tied with Aladdin and the King of Thieves as my favorite Disney sequel by virtue of fixing all the mistakes of the original. Cinderella had to fight to save herself and looked good doing it, Prince Charming FINALLY had character, and a likable one to boot, and Anastasia gained character development and redemption. It had the most to offer as a sequel, hands down.
Both Doug Walker (Nostalgia Critic) and Lindsay Ellis (former Nostalgia Chick) agree in their videos on the subject. I don't think Doug ranked them, but he did say it was the best he'd seen up to that point. (He watched them in order.) Lindsay put it at Number 1. (If you have trouble finding the NChick video, it's entitled "The Top Five LEAST Awful Disney Sequels." Doug's is easy to find: it's just "Cinderella III: A Twist in Time - Disneycember"
The sequel to Fox and the Hound is by far worse and less necessary than anything on this list. It literally doesn't tie into anything in the original, and could have had different character names and been its own movie and nothing else would need to change. It's as if they had an idea for a movie about country singing dogs, and thought it needed to be attached to an existing IP to get people to care.
I loved that movie as a little kid (the sequel). I liked it more than the original. I even wrote a little book continuing the story (impressive, as I was literally seven at the time) I still like it, more for nostalgia than anything else
I actually enjoyed Cinderella 2. Especially how they made it seem that Anastasia is the main character rather than Cinderella on the 2nd half. And Im also a sucker for badguys turned good stories :)
While redemption arcs do make you feel good inside, you have to treat them with care just like the protagonist otherwise you get a painfully rushed resolution with nothing of substance meaning lack of character for the one being redeemed meaning there is no jump off point, when dealing with reforms, best to leave on a somewhat resolved cliffhanger like confronting their past mistakes. In to the actual movie, 1 good scene doesn't make up for 2 boring superfluous shit shows. By that I mean the Jaque storyline is soooo unnecessary you could've cut it out and missed nothing except an elephant and a fat chick. The first story however foes offer insight into new characters of which some are used in the 3rd srquel, and some funny moments, however this is too slow and dull nothing really interesting to keep your attention it's like going through the movemnets but not feeling them.
For me, honestly, Anastasia WAS the main character of Cinderella 3. They might as well call it "Anastasia and the Magic Wand" and it would be more fitting. But yeah youre right about Anastasia being better in Cinderella 3. My only gripe is that they could have shown her life after she met the baker (which is the reason why I love Cinderella 2's second half) instead of the "They all lived happily ever after" BS, but all we get is a hint at the credits :(

I like the 2nd Cinderella movie because Anastasia gets a boyfriend and turns into a good guy (she’s a girl but u know what I mean)
In Cinderella 3 she turned into a good guy
In every other Cinderella movie other than the first and live action one, Anastasia is a good gal
the anastasia story was the only story i could tolerate out of all 3 of the short stories
She is completely redeemed in Cinderella 3

That's........true.
The Little Mermaid 2 was fucking awful. I couldn't stand Ariel's shrieks of agony as her character was being brutalized in such a heinous way.

Calling An Extremely Goofy Movie great and even better than the first? You're a brave man and a correct one.
Both Goofy Movies are great!
Why are people bashing Rescuers Down Under?!
The animation is stunning, the scale is grand, atmosphere is wonderful and the villain is amusingly threatening.
But Roxanne wasn’t in it….
CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW CINDERELLA 3 WAS REALLY FUCKING GOOD WHEN IT HONESTLY SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN
I really like the mouse song! I mean, I sing it regularly in everyday life!
ChalaTea I really enjoyed it. The Prince had more lines and more of a personality and the stakes felt bigger.
The "reverse pumpkin carriage" scene near the end was actually really shocking
Lilo and Stitch: Stitch Has a Glitch was pretty dope imo
I love the opening! Stitch cuddling his turtle is adorable! The therapy scene is hilarious!
Right? Honestly the scene where Stitch dies makes me tear up a little as an adult, and the bits of backstory we get about Lilo’s mom actually feel like they add a lot to her character!
I love all Lilo&Stitch movies so much ❤️
It was cool but I don't like how Stitch just "happened" to be brought back to life even though Jumba said it was impossible

They don't like it because they think Shang looks too much ridiculous and Mushu tryin' to break 'em up
I kinda thought the montage of mushu trying to break up mulan and shank kinda cute or is it just me?

1. Horrible animation 2. Bad music 3. Filmmakers didn't know how people actually discuss in real life .___.
Hipster Dinosaur Well, I had seen a few people say that they liked it (if you can believe it) which is what prompted me to give it a chance. But of course I was wrong. Not dumb. Just overly optimistic.

You have to agree, the Lion King II wasn’t actually that bad. I honestly love that movie
Better than that live action abomination
He doesn't have to agree.
Same!
I always liked it, even if the animation wasn't up to par. it was cute, it was engaging, and Kovu was a great character.

@@esteicy98 I agree
He showed my favorite scene in Cinderella 3. I am so happy cause that was actually such a shockingly good movie.

Ha... that's kinda exactly how I felt about the dead Ariel fake-out.

#1 for Top or #1 for Bottom?

ariel’s beginning makes me really mad, cause they obviously just pulled something out of their asses for the plot, when a prequel for that series could have been really genuinely interesting and cool. they could’ve made a really cool story about ursula’s background, how she got exiled, definitely including ariel’s mother and how she died and maybe even intertwining it. it already had some really great material but they threw it out there the window to make this garbage.
Agree i do not like this prequel too, it should follow the tv series plus they should add portait of life that what really happened to ariel's mother plus they should add ursula backstory. Im tired of ariel and triton fighting all the time. This prequel is so boring.

Dude, Bambi 2 was great. The developing relationship between Bambi and his father was great to see, while at the same time not straying too far from the first movie's overall feel.

Xen what did you think of lion king 2?
Malcolm Telford I haven't actually watched that one. Have you? Is it good?

Just gonna say it- The Rescuers Down Under didn’t deserve this
Obviously you haven't seen all of Ghibli movies.
I have 2 *HUGE* problems with Ariel's Beginning:
1.) If we consider The Little Mermaid tv series to be canon (and i'm pretty sure it technically is), then that means the series takes place before the first film, but *after* this one, and NO WHERE in the series is it EVER mentioned that Triton once banned all music in Atlantica.
Wow you people did a awful lot of hardwork
I am your density not to mention, I don’t mean to be insensitive or anything, but why would she go back to recover a music box, of all things? It’s *just* a music box.
I mean you know how Disney would do anything for more money, even back then
But didn’t that series had an episode where a SUBMARINE appeared, as well a diving suit? Wouldn’t it cause a paradox in when the series takes place at?
My problem with it is the obnoxious green blob thing.🥴
I mean, I liked how much attention was drawn to Ariel’s sisters in The Little Mermaid III, cause they didn’t get enough of it in my opinion, and they’re actually quite pleasant and funny too.
I don’t know, maybe that’s just me
Edit: Also, WORK, WORK, WORK SENORA!

In defense of Little Mermaid 3, Ariel's sisters have more character and personality in that film than in the first two movies.
One of my, if not most, favourite sequel
prequel to be exact, sequel means the story after the event of the last film and prequel is an event that took place before the original film started
Yeah, I mean, it's definitely bad, but I can think of several that were objectively worse... Atlantis 2, Fox and the Hound 2... Hell, I felt Hunchback 2 deserved to be number 1 just by virtue of how much it shits all over the original.
We're they even in the second one?
I strive to have the sheer comedic power of that Cinderella 3 scene. The day that I’m so funny that I will actually leap out a window if I’m forbidden from taking the stairs is the day I think I will have done enough for the world.

Why am I suddenly reminded of the Digimon Movie?
Adrian The Vulture because the English dub literally took three movies that didn't go together and made it one movie with a dumb plot. I don't know why this happens but oh god it has to stop
Because they the three segments the movie had didn't feel like a cohesive story. It felt like three well animated random episodes of Digimon.
They came out in japan as three different movies, that's why.

YAAAAAAAAAHHHHH LLLLLIIIIIIKKKKKKKEEEEEEEE JJJJJJJJAAAAAZZZZZZZZ
+Roundabout homeboy 2008 was almost a decade ago
You poor soul...
Wait, did you rate the original Lilo and Stitch an 11/10?
Limey Lassen I rated it a 12/10 😅
Limey Lassen yes
I know right? It should be rated 100/10
Exactly
I like 1 better but 2 was also great.
Same! I used to really love Patch’s London Adventure!
Don't diss Lion King II. "Deception, DISGRAAACE" was an ICONIC scene and you know it.
only good part of it is that song
I like that song
i fucking loved Lion King II by the gods
It's been a long time since I saw Simba's Pride but I remember enjoying it
Amen. Also the line "roasty, toasty, princess"

I'm laughing so hard
# MagicalUnicorn ME FREAKING TOO
Me too xD

Just rewatched for the superlative awards, 100% worth it :)
I checked the comments only to look for this. xD
I REALLY enjoyed The Lion King two. It was nice
“Man eats rocks for an hour” Gaetan Moliere summed up in 6 words,
Gotta disagree. Lion King 1 1/2 was a masterpiece and definitely underrated.
Funny but hardly a masterpiece.
Dude. The Riverdance reference had me DYING!
i'm sorry but i found it a let down to end the movies like they should of done a lion king 3 and then end it off so it felt finished yes the lion king 2 was a great movie but it felt like they had more to tell so i would give it a 3\10 the first parts was great but was getting worse as the movie went bot i did laugh a little
I loved 1 1/2 more than the other two put together, even if that's not saying much.
Idc I will defend the lion king sequels until I die
Mulan 2:
Non-formulaic movie turned into formulaic movie
Phantom Strider came up with a better idea for a Mulan sequel! What if Shan Yu came back as a ghost and possessed the emperor?
first movie was careful about keeping social norms accurate
second movie: mulan is already starting a feminist movement
I like your profile pic and name lol
The #6 Runaway Guys Fan that would've been awesome
K̊n̛̘̙̚e̗̚eˮ serious question: is it a feminist thing or a religious thing? because monogamy has greater religious ties than feminist ties and, if we are going to check-list-feminist either movie, the first movie would more likely hit the check list than the second. The only reason it doesn't is it is based on a really old story whose adaptation was well received.
I'd love to see "Every Netflix original series reviewed in 10 words or less" But I feel like that would take way too much time
Ceorai Let me try a few:
Lesbian prison sex.
Celebrity horse is depressed.
Gravity Falls but in Mexico.
That other 70s show.
Troll Breaker what show is the third one??
Junkrat is gay Legend Quest.
Also Gravity Falls but in Indiana
They're all shit
Prince Charming's personality doesn't come as much of a shock if you check how crazy fun his dad is 😂
6:11 goofy was dabbing before it became a meme
It's not a dab, he's dancing disco.
Donky Kong also dabed before it was a meme

"Moana, in theaters 2016." So Fucking TRUE!!!!
Is no one going to talk about how in The little mermaid 2, they changed Eric’s voice actor to Rob Paulsen aka YAKKO FROM THE ANIMANIACS. I went to the song where Yakko names the countries of the world and I can’t unhear it.
Da fu**?!!!
OMG
At least it's not as bad when he voiced Bubsy and Coconut Fred(speaking of the series, Sir Nutalot is the best episode of that show and Sephiroth as an apple was a hilarious decision).
Lion King 1/2 and Aladdin Prince of Thieves are both really good.
Oh my god, please do the Tom and Jerry movies
He has to. He just... has to.
Tracebeat YES!
Tracebeat every single tom and jerry movie I watch feels like a fever dream
It's just too much time dedicated to them for me
Tracebeat definitely agreed, I barely remember them but I know I've seen them and I feel they're probably all negatives
(If you have trouble finding the NChick video, it's entitled "The Top Five LEAST Awful Disney Sequels." Doug's is easy to find: it's just "Cinderella III: A Twist in Time - Disneycember"
the movie deserves to be top of the list
Plus it has a JOJO REFERENCE
"LET'S GIVE LAGO TWO SONGS! LAAAAAAAAAAAA-"
I don't know why I crack up every time I hear that sentence...
Cinderella 3, a twist in time is one of my favorite Disney Films, and is definitely My favorite Disney Sequel :3 Xx
But, Reba as a dog is amazing. Thats the only think that's good.
Poppy Is my Waifu same 😊
They actually gave Anastasia a lot more potential in Cinderella iii and it made me like her as a character.
