SYNOPSIS: For days on end they are on the road, away from company and comfort, servicing the wheels of the economy, anonymous and unsung. But their inherent Punjabi joie de vivre sees them through the endless waits at roadside eateries (ubiquitously and famously named Shere Punjab) - the rare opportunity to wash, the hardy food & drink, the discreetly sold condoms and dated bollywood songs providing the spartan silver linings to an otherwise grey tedium of the truck-driver's life.
