I was 10 years old in 1970 and thought it sounded so cool I wanted one when I got older. Well I had a dozen chevelles since and still have a 68 SS BB for the past 40 years.

Hi,my step dad traded blue 68 charger for blue 68 chevell ss396 375 hp but it was wrecked n the front he put another front clip on it.it had ladder bars under neath did have a I think Muncie 4 speed.usa slot mags ,you talkin about wheel hop oh my.that car would darn near pack front wheels.this back in late 7os .I do remember that one had big Holley double pumper carb.and no power steering.thanks for sharing I find these cars interesting.
As I said before this man save these cars we all can see them. But now I'm thinking who is going to save them from him as they set and rot? Even rustic and worth a lot more now than what they were when they were in decent shape about 25 years ago. Speaking in generalities. @@bk-yg9yw I hadn't heard about the 10 grand for the nova. But I've seen many novas bring well into the 30s up to around 45. Now I'm not saying that's the standard for the price. I kind of like some of the first generation Camaros and firebird. Those prices are probably out the window on them too. The older guys care more about number matching more than the majority does nowadays. Any base car can be made into a clone or tribute now with aftermarket.

Find yourself something that has a decent tub and subframe and just build it from there. I've seen in just one yard on one RUclips episode a dozen of these novus and together you can build four rollers easy out of them. But like I told this fella I'm not going to undercut the hose. I actually have like a 71 Nova hatchback it started life is a V6. But it's got one of those advanced options now called engine delete haha. Been sitting in the barn for a long time. Yeah we actually have one of those things we call Barns. And any old heat I got I'll be glad to put in the barn and if it's dry enough or stir up some dust and you can scoop it up and scattered across the car and pull it out and make it look real good. A little tongue in cheek sarcasm. Not about the number of vehicles I got and not about the old barn

Nothing else was hurt and he sold $200. Of course my first truck was a 1962 Chevy p100 for it. We didn't see these cars has junk but we sure did jump a lot of them up.

That’s probably an understatement. The big block mopars of the 70s were terrifying at the top end of quarter mile. I know this. I was there.
